I wanted my tattoos custom because they are on my body forever and i was told they are "too hard" and had to settle for different things. I went in knowing he was a newer artist, but he charged me more a long the lines of a more advanced artist. Especially for the work done. Lines are not straight on all three and one he went way too deep into my skin. Artist claims its because i didn't care for it properly but i took care of all three that i got that day, the same way, at the same time everyday. I even wrapped them extra at home after taking the initial wrap off. I have got tattoos for the last 6 years and know how to treat them with a total of 9. He didn't own up to his mistake, won't compensate this issue. He is still choosing to ignore it. I dont recommend this place. The whole environment looked unclean and unprofessional. And it would have been different if they said "no we can't do that" and then actually gave her a beautiful set of "basic" nails. But they gave her trash and were super rude.

He nodded and got to work. I thought it was odd that he did literally 1 coat of polish and sent me on my way. I got to my car and looked at my nails. They were completely see through, the hot pink polish that was previously on my nails was still on my nails and "coated" over. I also check their Facebook menu pricing, it said "full set with shellac polish, $40.00", I was charge $53.00 +tip. I walked back in and politely asked for a color change as I didn't not like the color provided and you could still see my old polish. They told me to take a seat and a lady came and got me. Instead of just using polish remover she complete shaved down my nails, re buffed them, and painted them the pink I had chosen. She proceeded to charge me $24.00 +tip for a color change. The owner/manager could tell I was not happy about this and handed me a $15.00 gift card, I went to use the gift card to pay for the polish change that should have been free since it wasn't done correctly the first time and the owner/manager proceeded to tell me I couldn't use the gift card until the next time I come. I'm screaming mad but am terrible at confrontation and don't want to "be a Karen". Ladies, learn from my mistake. Do NOT go to Diamond Nails in Waterloo. (Down to the magnifying glasses that she wears). After my 1st visit I noticed a huge difference in the no# of hair that returned. (Meaning- when I went to my 2nd visit. # of hair that had to be removed) There is a pinch before each hair is removed. But it's nothing terrible. - as its better then being waxed!! If there anything to remember about this process. The technician, is trying to locate the end of the hair that under the skin. It may take her a couple of times before she is able to locate & kill the root of the hair, but she Will do it, & you will free of unwanted hair! Shirley
