I love Diamond. They always do an amazing job for me. If I have a complaint or an issue with the nails, I tell them and they fix without complaint. They are very friendly and aim at exceptional service. The owner is super sweet and always has a smile on her face. Mike is my normal nail tech and he never disappoints. He will try to match what I want to a T. Will always recommend 10/10 read more

Diamond Nails - Love my nails!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Waterloo, Iowa

Okay I normally don't do this but I'm doing it. Rant Alert I went to Diamond Nails at 4:40pm, I was seated by 5pm and showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted. See pic attached. He nodded and got to work. I thought it was odd that he did literally 1 coat of polish and sent me on my way. I got to my car and looked at my nails. They were completely see through, the hot pink polish that was previously on my nails was still on my nails and "coated" over. I also check their Facebook menu pricing, it said "full set with shellac polish, $40.00", I was charge $53.00 +tip. I walked back in and politely asked for a color change as I didn't not like the color provided and you could still see my old polish. They told me to take a seat and a lady came and got me. Instead of just using polish remover she complete shaved down my nails, re buffed them, and painted them the pink I had chosen. She proceeded to charge me $24.00 +tip for a color change. The owner/manager could tell I was not happy about this and handed me a $15.00 gift card, I went to use the gift card to pay for the polish change that should have been free since it wasn't done correctly the first time and the owner/manager proceeded to tell me I couldn't use the gift card until the next time I come. I'm screaming mad but am terrible at confrontation and don't want to "be a Karen". Ladies, learn from my mistake. Do NOT go to Diamond Nails in Waterloo. I have gotten my nails done for years and I have never paid almost $100.00 for a full set with pink polish (no designs). Okay rant over, thanks for listening. read more

I gave the artist the photo to do my nails and he didn't follow it much and the webs were done wrong. I paid $80 for something that didn't look like the photo and barely looked at the reference at all. I thought this was pretty simple.. first time getting my nails done... read more

it was a beautiful experience me and my mom went there the day before my cousins reception the person doing my nails were nice

Absolutely love this place. I have tried almost all nail places around n this one has been my favorite

I thought that the people who worked there were nice and friendly but my nails started coming off the next day. I don't plan on going back

John at diamond nails refused me service because I am apparently too difficult to work with, when he hasn't ever done my nails!! However, he accepted the appointment I made a few days prior, then when I got to the salon there was someone already getting service during my appointment time, very unprofessional. So I waited, only for the manager Vincent to come up to me and tell me that John did not want to do my nails. I was given some lame excuse, when ultimately I honestly believe he over booked his appointments and did not have time to get me in. This place is very unprofessional, and service is inconsistent. WON'T BE GOING BACK!!! read more

I absolutely love this place they always do a great job! I've had gel and dip done and the colors are amazing! I always get their temperature changing colors and they have never disappointed me! I've been going here since I moved to Iowa from New York. I always request mike! They just remodeled and it's beautiful on the inside and everyone is so nice and professional. I've even seen them accommodate wedding parties and do spa treatments and eyebrow waxing. read more

Had absolutely horrible service! The gal doing my daughter's nails yelled at her for asking a question!!! Brought it to the managers attention and didn't get an apology or anything. Too top off her nails weren't done correctly or her cousins who was also there having hers done as well. Absolutely ridiculous read more

I took my daughter and our friend here for birthday pedicures. Service was poor at best. I felt rushed the entire time, even when picking out my polish. This sort of service and environment should be one of relaxation. It was far from that today. The guy who did my pedicure talked to his coworker assisting my daughter with her pedicure the entire time. My feet are no softer than they were to start with. When it came time to massage my legs he rubbed the same spot the entire time with the stone because he wasn't paying attention and too busy talking. My daughter's polish looked crappy when we finished because her pedicurist was too busy talking to mine. After paying we sat with our toes under the dryers for what seemed like forever. No one told us when our toes we're dry and could leave. It was like we paid so they were done with us. I'll never go back. One of the worst pedicures I've ever received. read more

Horrible experience. I wanted short white ombré nails with no pink. I like clear. They cut my regular nails which were perfect length before I could stop him and then put tips on. Way too long and did pink. I had been there over two hours and didn't have time for him to fix them. I tried to tell them twice no pink and to cut them shorter. I sent them a message to try and go back to get them fix because I'm not happy with them at all. They responded to come in and they would fix. Went in there today and messaged ahead I was coming. Get there and the guy was almost rude about it and said would be at least 25 minute wait which means 45 minutes so o left. Going home to cut them off. Oh I was also charged $29 for a pedicure that was supposed to be $24. Will never go back. read more

Worst experience ever at a nail salon! They sat me at a station and then ignored me for 25 minutes. This was a Thursday afternoon, they weren't busy. There were technicians walking around doing nothing, one even got stuff out of the station I was at. I tried to talk to the guy at the front desk, but he ignored me to talk on his cell phone. I ended up walking out and nobody gave a shit read more

I got a mani pendi, simply needed a pink fill and my toes done. The woman asked me what color I wanted on my hands and I explained to her I did not want color just the acrylic fill and a clear coat, due to my work that doesn't allow color. She pushed the shellac color on me, to which I said no. She continued to push the Shellac on me and I continued to tell her no and finally firmly saying no got the point across. She then asked the shape I wanted on my hands and I told her a rounded coffin shape, she then proceeded to inform me it was 5 dollars extra for the shape....I read through their service options and there is no fee for shaping nails. My nails ended up looking fine but the service is rude and unprofessional. read more

Just happened to drop in because my washer broke and it's in the same strip mall as a nice laundromat. It was noon on a Thursday and I had the best experience getting a pedicure from Kayla. She even uses warm rocks for the foot massage. I would definitely go back. Chairs are comfortable and the shop is clean. Many colors of polish to choose from. read more
