Multiple fingers were bleeding when I left here because of the tool they use to grind down the dip. It took 2 techs and over 3 hours to do a very simple ombré that I had a picture of. I have paint and scrapes/burns all over. They knew I wasn't pleased, so they offered a $15 gift card for next time. There won't be a next time. This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. See I went in to get a set design the service was great very kind and respectful. Also the complimentary options a great as well while your waiting. But I do have an issue with the fact that my cuticle was nicked and there was very little done to clean it up so by the time I had a chance to do so it had already been crusted up. On top of the fact I didn't get a discount for my injury either. But all in all still had a great time I'm satisfied with the design apart from my continuous bleeding cuticle. Thanks for your time I'd definitely recommend but slow down and take your time and be sure to ask customers if they are on a time limit or not. i went yesterday to get a new set and as he was pushing back the cuticles and when he started to cut them and he cut my skin. As it happened all he said was "shit" no sorry at all. As it kept bleeding he took some type of salt kind and put it on the open cut and it stung and burned even more. Only person who said sorry was the lady who came and started doing the design. I have gone to LA Nails several times and was some what satisfied with the service . They are always talking to each other in thier native langage ignore you setting in front of them. Today i got redicule about the condition of my nails in front of other customers. I was redicule by what believe is the manger and the the man that worked on nails. i wish i would gotten up and left. Came in for a shellac pedicure from out of town. They literally tore my old pedicure off (I could've done this myself). I asked twice for extra attention on my heels, and still left with dead skin hanging from them. They painted on top of my cuticles, instead of pushing them back and then were not precise with my clear coat so I'm sitting in the lobby picking off the excess. The toes aren't completely covered (edge to edge) with paint and I have sharp corners that I'll have to go home and file down myself. read more

I wouldn't even give 1 star to be honest. They charged me $10 just to literally rip my previous set of gel nails off instead of soaking in acetone like other places I've been too. He even asked me (while doing the FIRST nail) if it hurt.. I said yes! & he just kept going. This is only the 2nd place I've ever been to that does it this way. Again, most places I've been to soak your nails in acetone. Afterwards, I got a new gel set with different colored tips put on & he did a terrible job doing it. They're SOO thick & very bubbled. On top of that I walked out with two of my fingers bleeding because he wasn't cautious with the files & buffers at all. & it all cost me over $99. The only reason why I went there in the first place is because I've heard so many people say how this business does an amazing job. Maybe it was just the person I got that day.
