I've never had worse service at a nail salon, ever. Before this trip, I've had really good experiences with similar salons and had heard good things word of mouth about this one. The lady who did my nails spoke to me five times, to pick a color, the length I wanted, to wash my hands, to pay and to dry my nails in that order. All the employees spoke more in Korean to each other than in English to customers! By the time I could get a word in to tell her I didn't want a square nail, she'd cut them all (I'll admit I glanced at the tv during this) square and uneven (which was more noticeable under better lighting). When I went back to have them fixed (I thought maybe the square nails would grow on me, but they didn't. My fingers look stubby with them), she filed the square nails into what apparently passes as "round" which they aren't, and they're still uneven, and now the polish is scratched to hell and missing in noticeable spots. At that point I just gave up and I'll get them redone somewhere else. I wouldn't be so upset by it if it weren't that I had mentioned that this was for my wedding. When the nails I do myself for everyday with the five dollar kit from Walmart look better than the ones I got professionally done for my wedding there is a problem. read more
