En route to my appointment, 20 mins before my appointment!, I get a text-not even a call, but a text, stating my appointment was cancelled. No explanation and no apology was given. I replied and stated that cancelling my appointment, 20 mins before the appointment, was unacceptable. Meghan stated that she'd try to squeeze me in with Chloe. Then, for whatever reason nastily reminded me of her no call, no show policy. So crazy since she cancelled on me!!!!!! But, I headed to the salon, 'cause i needed the service, and it was too late to scramble to find someone else. Chloe was very busy so Latasha took pity on me and she did a super job. Thank you, girl! The experience is so unprofessional. So disrespectful. So rude. I would NEVER go back. My money is better spent elsewhere. Disrespectful as he##!!

So she was not allowed to do her manicure the same way. I did not think much about it. Until I went to pay my bill. $54.00 I was stunned. I pay my bill and left as I'm a person who does not like to make a scene. All I could think as I left was... holy crap!!!

Again was content with the look when all was done but the bread trim and hair cut did not meet what I was looking for the 40 dollar charge. Based on their reputation I am sure this Salon is solid, just not for what I was looking for.

This place has been here for well over a year. It's slowly gaining more popularity but I generally like it because it's less busy than other locations. The manager April is fantastic. Knows my husband and I by name when we walk in. Her hair cuts are always spot on. She's friendly and you can tell she enjoys her job. Tammy has also been at this location for a long time. She's one to say it like it is and has a huge personality. But this is good! Not a bad thing. She's very nice and outgoing. Her haircuts are fabulous too. I've had haircuts by some other stylists here other than April and Tammy but my husband I agree they are the best. But I've never gotten a bad cut. I try to use my app to check in. This way I know how long the wait will be and it puts me on the list so when I walk in I don't have to wait long. They are no pressure with selling products but are happy to recommend.

The last visit we did an online check in for one boys cut, called to give the girl we wanted a heads up that we did the check in & would be there in 30 minutes as it told us. When she finally was ready the same person who did a great job the first time did a HORRIBLE. My son looked like the blonde guy from Dumb & Dumber. The hair on his forehead was a straight line angling from just above his left eye brown to almost his hair line when got to the other brow. We won't be back.

For 2 years I frequented this school(2017-2018) and always brought along products specifically formulated to moisturize and condition my type hair. Now today, they inform me that my products can't be used(BS). I only stopped going to this school because the girl who was doing my hair graduated last December. I've said this to them and I'll say it here: It's really some shameful shit that as a school, these idiots don't cover how to properly care for ALL types of hair and their curriculum doesn't even cover how to silk press. There are people that specialize in the proper care of black hair as well as the silk press. These people are too lazy and too comfortable living in their white privileged world to offer their students knowledge in ALL hair types.
