I was in this store on 11/29. The staff wasn't enforcing the mask law- so, so disappointing and dangerous. The maskless woman ahead of me at the register was rung up without an employee telling her she *was required by law* to wear a mask. Then another person entered without a mask and not a single employee said a word. This sign stating that masks are required was pushed to the side of the door, and I pulled it front and center as I left. I am not so worried for myself, but for our seniors and immunocompromised individuals. I really hope that Rite-Aid will begin to enforce this MANDATORY rule. This is a serious public health concern. They have yet to get my med orders straight, and they always sound so put upon when answering my questions. But today the man answering the phone was just plain rude. When I asked if he could tell me when I could expect delivery of my medicine he rattled off the delivery dates, and I didn't know when mine were (in fact they have always delivered the soonest possible and this was news to me.) I told this rude person I didn't know, and he said "well you should know" in the most condescending way. I told him what I thought of his attitude and waited for him to fetch his manager, who was barely helpful but did at least manage to let me know it would be delivered the next day. I really do need my meds delivered and if I have to put up with the rudeness, so be it, but I will look elsewhere But I really can't recommend this disorganized mess to anyone else. read more

Unfriendly staff, before shopping I ask to use the restroom and was told it was out of service. I call bullshit, this seems to be the common response at this place. It has happened on multiple occasions here. I guess I'll be shopping at Walmart instead. read more

Great place to go if you despise the Walmart trips like I do. They have almost everything you need! I've always loved rite aid, and with the wellness card you can get amazing deals and save a ton of money on everyday items. Only 4 stars though because the pharmacy wait takes forever since Luke's closed and they took on a lot of new customers which has tremendously slowed them down. read more

Place seemed to be clean Nice and friendly staff. Good variety of merchandise to choose from.

At the Yreka, California store, they often do not answer their pharmacy phone. Also, they don't seem to fill prescriptions until you call again or walk in and wait in line, only to be told that it will be a half hour wait AFTER having called it in three days prior. Terrible service!!! read more

I am totally appalled that Rite Aide in Yreka, CA. will not even answer their phone for perscriptions. I live out of town, am handicaped and now have to drive 50 miles to get someone to help me. My pharmacy closed and my perscriptions were sent to them. I expected to be treated at least with some respect as a paying customer. What kind of business does that??? Zero stars would be proper in this case. This is a very small community and we have few choices but Rite Aide should be ashamed. read more

I went to Rite Aid today for Kleenex and cold water while I was out walking... it was so hot outside, and I needed that cold water. However! What I picked up from the shelf was labeled 2 for 2 dollars. The Kleenex was next to a price label that said 3-something. When I got to the checkout I was charged 8-something for these items, so I had to ask the prices. Apparently the water at 2 for 2 dollars was only for people with "reward cards" and the Kleenex was possibly near a wrong price label and cost 4-something not 3-something. I couldn't help but think some bait and switch was going on especially with that water. How is a person off the street who normally never shops at Rite Aid supposed to know you need a rewards card to get the price that's clearly labeled on the shelf? The result was I asked for my money back and left the products... the cashier was very nice about it. The well-mannered employee deserves all five stars but as for the store, I'll probably never try to shop there again. read more

This Rite Aid is pretty helpful in a town this small. Open almost 365 days a year, conveniently located, and stocks everything from basic grocery items to toys to clothing to just about anything else. Also has a pharmacy that's pretty popular, and is a common stop for people looking to buy alcohol before they head to Oregon. Prices are pretty high for stuff you don't generally find in a drugstore, but that's to be expected. So... normally this would be a solid 3 stars but because this is the only drugstore in Yreka I'm bumping it up a star. I also like that there's a drive-thru coffee place right next door haha. read more

I'm not very fond of Rite Aid but I do like this store. The employees are helpful and I usually can find stuff here that I can't at Wal Mart. They have great deals which is convenient for me. Their coupon policy is awesome too. read more

I use to work for payless and it was a wonderful store and I was proud to work for them and they gave raises when they were due without asking. it was a happy place and everyone got along quite well. I realize that the rules on employees are so much worse today then it use to be and good help is so darn hard to find in any business. we see it in all the stores in Yreka, ca. today's rite aid, I am sad to say I am to old to work for them now. I AM VERY HAPPY WE HAVE THEM IN OUR TOWN BUT IT NEEDS A FEW TWEEKS. sometimes a manager's hands are tied when it comes to discipline an employee or ask them to do things and they won't do it so the manager just get's frustrated and say's to heck with it and let's it go. then that affects the store and that can get old really fast and your moral does down the drain really fast for a good manager. first of all the manager needs to go and look at each shelf and see what needs to be ordered if they run out fast and the item is not on sale. how can he order other items that would be nice to pick up in the store. he also needs to see how the floors are not being cleaned at night like they are suppose to be cleaned. you have a nice floor, let's keep it that way. the workers will not look at you when they pass you by so they don't have to help you. you have to chase them down. the manager never see's or cares to see how the clerk checks you out and how grumpy they are if he is not watching. the store is beautiful but some items are so far away to get to. the layout was a very poor thought. Yreka store has a good manager, he has lost his way and he just needs to be talked to in a nice way and maybe given an incentive to do better. this man has many years to go and I want the store to be happy with him and him with the store. read more
