Great store for Ashland. One of the cleanest and most well-stocked Bi-Marts in the chain. It's close to most of the hotels in town, and has everything you need and then some without driving to Medford for a Freddy's or Walmart run. Prices run the same as other Bi-Mart locations as well. You need a membership to shop here. And I would just love to be a member but we were just traveling through. They did not offer a one-time guest pass so we actually bought a membership just to use for one day. This store is amazing so much things it's like a Costco but local things are all added into the bulk items. The prices were amazing I loved it we bought a lot of things to bring back to Hawaii. Employees are great. No worries there. Store is kind and folks are helpful and friendly. But nearly everything from there I have ever bought has been amazingly cheap. A printer that works for 3 months and then stops. A mattress cover that tears when I am putting it on for the first time. An standing phone charger that doesn't work at all, fresh out of the box. I have spent more time returning things here than purchasing things. Waste of time, money, and a lot of useless plastic. read more

I am writing a review of the pharmacy ONLY. bimart itself is ok. But the pharmacy is not so great and they really should try and do better. During the wildfires I didn't have access to my normal pharmacy. So my doctor wrote a new script and I went to bimart. Worst decision of my life. They where always short on my meds. They for some reason couldn't or wouldn't do partial fills. Even when calling ahead of time they never had my or my husbands medications ready. It felt Out of control. And bad customer service. As soon as I went back to my normal pharmacy it was amazing the difference. I am on meds that can cause serious effects if I do not have them. So needless to say I will not use bimarts pharmacy again. read more

Someday I will win a toaster. I have been trying to win for YEARS. My Bimart number is now public knowledge: #955550!!!! But I NEVER win! I love the employees. This is the epitome of Oregon cool. I hope the new Californians do not ruin the feel and vibe of this place. I can just see them complaining about getting a number. You used to have to wait behind the gate, or say, "I'm with them" to get in if you didn't bring your little green or yellow card--Mine was purchased in 1974. Great old school variety store with almost everything you could want or need, but not quite a huge selection. Good to great prices. I use my mom's membership card, but I think that's an easy thing tho acquire. Its a great medium sized store, good for cheap clothes, snacks, some sports needs, and household basics. read more

Mark, nailed it pretty good. This is the medium-box store alternative to a Target. I find it oddly comforting, reminds me of the drugstore/department stores in my grandmother's small town when I was a kid. It really does have an amazing amount of different, stuff, you won't have to go to Medford very often. But the thing I like best is there is no pretension here. It's all just regular things for sale and the people who work there are genuinely friendly, it looks like they enjoy working there and that is rare these days. Plus enjoy the ol Irish lass who works the far register - i'm pretty sure she was flirting with me! But then I think she does that with all the lads. :) read more

All too often I overlook BiMart and head to Medord to pick up household necessities (laundry soad, dish washing liquid, etc.) and spend more on gas than I am saving. As gas prices skyrocketed last year I tried to consolidate my shopping and found that some of the best pricing on those items was right under my nose at BiMart. While they don't have the selection of Target or Fred Meyer they do have most everything needed for everyday sundry items, all at very competitive prices. read more

I love this store. It is about the only store in Ashland that doesn't have a hint of pretentiousness. If you follow every fad, wear $75 jeans, eat gluton-free vegetarian food, don't shower, and pose as a fake-homeless because you think it makes you cool, then trot on down to the Food Co-op because Bi-mart probably doesn't have what you need. If you want a nice pair of quality blue jeans for nine bucks (nine bucks!) then come on in to Bi-mart. If you want to sneak in for some ammo on your way out to the Ashland Gun Club, then Bi-Mart is the only game in town. Their prices are cheaper than Walmart (see my Walmart review) and they treat their employees well. read more

I wanted to write a bi-mart review, because I remember being new to town and wondering where all the locals buy their every day stuff. The answer: bi-mart. Bi-mart is a chain store based in the pacific northwest, so you don't see them in California (at least not that I recall). Bi-Mart is how I imagine Wal-Mart used to be, back before it went off the big box corporate deep end. The prices are very reasonable, and they stock a bunch of different things. Don't be put off by the fact that it requires a membership. Just tell them that you're from out of town and they'll typically let you in without a fuss. Worst case, you may have to shell out $5 for a membership. read more

Bi-Mart was too far away to be of very much use, much of the time, for many college students in town who didn't have cars. However, I had a bike and rode all over creation, including to Emigrant Lake for late night angling Bi-Mart was my go-to spot for tackle and bait. They also have dirt cheap ammo, and are open super late. I used to have a buddy that worked there, that could get us extra discounts, but those days are long gone..... as is my bike, as some bung-hole stole it while it was locked up outside my dormitory, one beautiful summer day.... read more

I've been going to this Bi Mart since December of 79 which adds up to ?? lucky number days. It's been part of life in Ashland that I've simply taken for granted. I moved far enough away that it isn't quite as convenient for me, but I went in yesterday for things I couldn't find at the smaller, but terrific local shops. Staff approached me twice to offer help and It struck me how much more customer friendly Bi Mart is than all the other big stores. It was a short wait at the check stand and the store has ALWAYS been clean, well organized, and well staffed with a great variety of products. This Bi Mart is a valuable asset to a great community that ought to be supported with a grateful smile. read more

Same as any Bi-mart except NO OFFICE SUPPLY AISLE??? Very friendly cashiers. They tend to carry more organic items than the Medford location I noticed. Bums tend to hang out around the parking lot but no other complaints really. LOL read more

You might think BiMart Pharmacy would stand behind the pharmaceuticals that they sell but that is not the case. After being informed that an epi-pen that we had recently purchased was dangerously defective, we tried to return it for a replacement or refund. They said no, we had to contact the manufacturer. After numerous attempts at calling the mfr's toll free number, and being on hold literally for hours, we attempted again to get BiMart to replace or refund the defective product, and we were told no again. After an additional conversation with the pharmacy manager we were told they could do nothing for us. After a long call to BiMart's corporate headquarters we were told to go back to BiMart to let the pharmacy manager verify (again) that the product was defective and corporate promised a refund if the product was defective. The manager confirmed that it was defective and offered a replacement, not a refund, which we didn't want because we had already paid for another set. We finally settled for the replacement because we were tired of the battle. So, buyer beware, and don't count on BiMart to take care of you unless you have hours to battle them. read more

Most unprofessional pharmacy staff I have ever worked with. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, but between getting inaccurate quantities and the bad eggs, this is not where you want to go for prescriptions. I used to use it for the drive through, but it is not worth it at all. Your prescriptions are far too important to be screwed around with. read more
