I have been faithful...for years...to CVS. As I was reading my kids their bed time story, I was…read morethinking...why...why CVS for so very long? Wall-to-wall carpet. Seems odd but that is the answer, friend. Every CVS that I walk into is carpeted. And quiet. And soothing. Odd because I can't stand wall-to-wall in my own home. Our hardwoods are torn to shreds but I will not staple down the poly fibers. But I think about other pharmacies and they all pretty much have the shiny tile squares that clickety-clack when you walk on them. Never knowing when they've been last polished, you gotta be careful your leather botton kicks don't slip. But CVS? No worries. Your heels are safely cradled in the soft carpet caress. And shiny tile squares remind me of cafeterias and hospitals...and...um...not so soothing thoughts. I especially like this location. They have a drive-up pharmacy and a tricked out photo lab with multiple scanners and one hour photo service. The store is always well-stocked, clean and neat. The in-store staff is terrific both at the front and at the pharmacy. Up front, they launch a code red type announcement if there are more than two people in line. Yeah - you know my time is valuable. Nice. The pharmacy staff churns out the prescriptions in record time and the actual pharmacist will walk out to help out with medicinal inquiries. The pharmacy calls now get routed to a call center, not the actual pharmacy. This annoys me because sometimes I want to talk to one of the pharmacists that I know. Knocks the star down a notch from being the total five star pharmacy wonder. The parking is easy. Location is convenient. Staff friendly. Carpet on the floor. Guess that covers it!

I knew what I needed a gift, a birthday card and batteries for the toy. This location is always packed and cluttered, and it's been this way since I was little. Just people and inventory always everywhere. I couldn't find the batteries an employee named Peter helped me and told me several places I could find batteries (very sweet), I grabbed all I needed and the batteries. The batteries clearly said 3.77 when I bought it to self check out it said 4.97, I signaled the young lady employee who had a serious attitude and told her and she said it rings up 4.97 , I continue to tell her all the batteries were in that spot with this price. I ask her if there are any batteries nearby versus me going all the way to the other side of the store which is where I originally started. She told me no. The only place was to get the batteries behind a register where I would need to get an associate. So I simply went all the way back to the spot where I originally got the batteries, took a picture and brought it back. The price was still not honored. I grabbed different batteries took a picture of that in case that became an issue as well. I told her to please remove the old batteries from the queue of things that I was buying and she said which one with a severe attitude that was the only thing that I had scanned was the batteries (I left my items with my boyfriend at he self checkout kiosk while I went to grab the batteries) . It's just straight up ghetto in here. I will not be returning. If you have employees, they need to be doing their job not just getting paid to do absolutely nothing. She much preferred to be chatting with her other coworker versus doing her job. I'm ONLY giving an extra star because Peter was a sweetheart otherwise I would give this place 0 stars. The parking lot is like parking in the zoo, horrible.

The pharmacist, Kim, still refused to fill it at that time and told me they would handle it after their break. This level of disregard for an infant with a serious respiratory illness is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Delaying critical medication for a sick baby is dangerous. My dog suffers from seizures And and also suffers from a collapsing trachea which causes her to cough. Both of these conditions are treated with medicine three times a day that have to be filled by a compounding pharmacy. On Tuesday the 15th I reached out to the vet for a refill on my dogs SEIZURE medicine. They called in her prescription to the pharmacy. They usually tell me it will be 24 hours so I waited until the 17th and went in to try and pick it up. Told them I was there for her seizure medicine, they explained to me they didn't have anything ready for her. The woman working the front went to the back and got the owner who proceeded to tell me it was too early to fill, that prescription was filled on the 31st and they can't fill this until the 25th at the earliest... while they are telling me this I'm calling my vet because they are telling me they never received the message from the vet and want a copy of the prescription faxed over. My vet is telling me what they are saying makes 0 sense because her seizure medicine is not a controlled substance and the vet gave the prescription so they should fill. Whatever I leave and the vet said they faxed over the Prescription. The vet and I are both thinking maybe it's some sort of new policy or something. I get home and look at her bottles and they of course, the pharmacy, made a mistake and were looking at her cough medicine and the date they gave us is the date her cough medicine was last filled and that's why they wouldn't fill it. So I call the next morning and speak to THE SAME WOMAN who ADMITTED she made a mistake and was looking at the wrong medicine! They tell me they still haven't received the fax, because their fax machine is having issues... so I once again have to call the vet and they get the prescription filled finally. You can see in my call log the multiple calls to the vet and pharmacy. The missed call also had a voicemail attached where they call to tell me her seizure medicine is ready for pick up! Fast forward to yesterday..... my dogs cough medicine is due for refill.... The owner straight up accuses me trying to get her medicine filled too many times in one month after HIS mistake.... I have all the evidence proving it was his mistake. He clearly should be able to go into his computer system and look and see I picked up her SEIZURE medicine on 08/18 but he just repeatedly kept accusing me of trying to pick up a controlled substance too many times in a month even though it was their mistake and I never tried to fill this medicine other than when it was prescribed. He was even giving me incorrect dates. I understand being cautious but to accuse someone when you made the mistake and to lie to my face and tell me your computer system says I picked up the cough medicine and that you don't have a blonde with glasses that works there is absurd (she's the one who admitted to me she made the mistake the first time). I will never step foot in that place again. I have the best vet ever who would never prescribe me more medicine than what my dog needs either, so I wouldn't even get this script twice in a month. I'm just absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated. You called me a liar and told me I was wrong. I have all the evidence to show he's a terrible business owner and should definitely treat his customers better. There's being cautious and then there's being a disorganized jerk.
