As of Wednesday 6/11/25 this Rite Aid will be permanently closed. All prescriptions will be transferred to the Walgreens across the street. I went to pick up my prescription, and the shelves are bare. It's so sad. read more

Everyone wants to complain about the pharmacy, but I've never gotten the impression that they're doing anything less than their best. They're always very pleasant in spite of having to deal with you salty twerps on a daily basis. Had a nice and efficient experience getting flu and Covid shots a couple of months ago. And recently, just after a doctor appointment and on my way home, I stopped in when I received an automated text that one of my scripts wasn't covered by insurance. The young lady at the pharmacy explained that I could just get an OTC version of the drug, and offered to fill my other script while I waited. That said: trying to call the pharmacy for any reason is a completely hopeless endeavor. read more

I've been using this Rite Aid Pharmacy since the local Stop & Shop closed several years ago. We shop in the store, get our prescriptions and even get our pet's prescriptions there. We love this location!!! When you walk through the door, whomever is at the register ALWAYS greets you (unless they're busy with a customer), employees on the floor ALWAYS ask if you need help finding anything. They are ALWAYS pleasant and attentive. The pharmacy staff are ALWAYS awesome. Leanne, Carmella, Emma and others who's names I cannot recall right now, are ALWAYS awesome. ALWAYS polite, professional and great personalities. If ever they're having a bad day, you'd never know it! They make the process of picking up prescriptions, getting vaccines, or getting answers to questions whether on the phone or in person an easy task. Everyone there, for the years my family has now been using this location has ALWAYS been a pleasure to deal with, ALWAYS been very knowledgeable and ALWAYS very professional. I'd like to thank everyone there for doing a great job and let them know, while that at times in may feel like their Jo's is thankless, it is not and we appreciate them. They make the sometimes embarrassing, awkward or sometimes scary situation regarding illness and medications more easy for their customers, including me. Thank you all!!! read more

Scheduled an appointment for a Covid shot at 12:10pm online. When I got there the lady in line in front of me said she had a 12:30pm appointment and there were many people sitting around waiting. At 1:00pm the 12:30pm lady got her shot and 2 other people got called before I did. I didn't get out of there until 1:45pm. All the pharmacist said sorry we were busy but couldn't explain why we were taken out of order. I'll never use this pharmacy again Walgreens here I come read more

Impossible to get someone to answer the phone. I've called SEVERAL times and no one answers. I got someone to answer ONCE and they hung it up before saying hello. read more

When 90% of your pharmacy staff walk out, maybe the problem isn't a "national labor shortage", like your in-store signage suggests. Maybe the problem is yours. I was actually told by one of your pharmacists that Rite Aid was a "terrible company to work for". Get your act together. Pay your employees a fair wage and treat them well. Maybe they won't leave to go work somewhere else. For any reader of this who is considering using this pharmacy, or any of Rite Aid's pharmacies, be prepared to wait in line for 45 minutes, only to be told that the prescription refill you phoned in 3 days ago has not been filled, but they might be able to fill it in an hour. This is the worst pharmacy blaming their problems on staffing issues. I received the automated call that my Losartan was ready on Sunday 11/21 and Monday 11/22 that the other med was ready. I have both voicemails. I walked in today and was told that the losartan was not ready, the other medication is. I was told I could come back; I was on lunch from work. Instead of LOOKING IN THE BAGS NOT JUST THE COMPUTER, I was told it was not ready. When I left the parking lot back to work, BING! an automated voicemail from Rite Aid, "Hello this is your rite aid pharmacy calling. As scheduled your prescription that begins with LO is ready." Why did she not give it to me when I was there? Absolutely unacceptable. Now I have to return after work to pick up the meds when they were obviously BOTH in the bags behind them. read more

Scheduled an appointment 2-days in advance to receive the Covid vaccine. I received an on-line notification I was scheduled and given an exact time. I called the Pharmacy yo confirm and they said they could not find me in their system. They required me to try several times which I did, however they did not find me in their system. I told them that I took a screen shot and could prove that I had an appointment. However, they refused to give me the vaccine. They said they were struggling with the new system. I can understand that but I repeatedly begged for help. I asked to speak to the Store Manager, but the person I spoke with refused to transfer the call. I called another Rite Aid and they were not happy with the way I was treated. They told me to come right over and they gave me the shot. I contacted Dutchess County Department of the Aging since I am 75. They too were shocked, and they will have me speak with a Representative to review how I was mistreated. read more

If you have a prescription for suboxone, don't bring it here! These people treat you like a nuisance every time you pick up your prescription. And god forbid you need help with anything concerning your prescription! You get instant attitude. read more

I would like to post a review of the exceptional customer service by Sheila and Ire at this store recently. During this pandemic I have been checking in on delivery days to see if the items I need are in stock before I make a long drive over. I am always helped with kindness and professionalism.. when all other stores act like a phone call is a bother. I hope corporate will recognize how lucky they are to have such great people working on their behalf. This store should serve as an example not only to other Rite Aids but other stores as well.
