I visited the Beauty Bar at Ulta for a curly cut with Elizabeth. If you follow my reviews, you may…read moreremember that I had a truly traumatizing hair experience in NYC earlier this year. It was finally time to begin the recovery process, and hesitant would be an understatement. My request was simple. Cut away the straggling, split ends and give me a treatment that would help with the breakage and frizz. I expected to leave with a little less hair, but honestly, I didn't have much faith that I would actually love the result. Well, I'm now convinced Elizabeth has a magic touch. She relieved, revived, and completely transformed my hair. I left with soft, bouncy, naturally coiled curls and so much more clarity about how to care for them. The best part is that nothing about the process was complicated. I've been able to recreate and maintain the same look at home with minimal effort. My biggest misconception was believing that wearing my hair curly would mean so much more work. Elizabeth helped me understand that it's really about "allowing my hair to be who it's always been." Now I have curls I genuinely love, hair that feels easy, and products that are nourishing and protective. I've retired my flat iron and it feels good damn good. After being so afraid to trust someone with my hair again, I am incredibly grateful that I found Elizabeth.

Speaking from experience, these two women were exhibiting what NOT to do when you work in retail.
