For a brief moment my breathing stops, she simply took my breath away for that moment as I stared at the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. It was our first date that lead to many more with even discussions of marriage years later. This coffee shop is so special to me that I would have taken wedding photos outside on the front lawn to commemorate the beginning. But my dreams came to an end when the rough patches came along. Rather than pray for her, I got annoyed with her. With no prayer or patience she's now gone and with God now in my life I wish I could pray over her (rather than just for her) and love her the way she was meant to be loved. I visit this ship from time to time with the most wild dream that God would have her walk through the door, back into my life but I know that won't happen. As I sip an amazing latte from this shop I wonder where God is taking me because my sole focus is my path forward with the Lord and nothing else. I will never give my heart to anyone else except God. This little coffee shop will forever be special to me and a reminder of love I haven't felt in a long time that I didn't properly nurture.

Private events here also HIT. The space can turn into anything you want. The layout of the coffee shop is a bit funky but it's exactly what gives it character. The chocolate croissants here area MUST but word on the street is their almond croissants are even better. I wasn't able to try them since by the time we came here they were sold out but we really enjoyed our drinks, croissants and danishes. Using top of the line La Marzocco to make you the perfect espresso drink, you can choose from cappuccino to latte, to flat white. I got the flat white with macadamia nut milk and lavender syrup served in glass and it was absolutely delicious. The cool thing is you get to sit right in the room where the magic happens: the roasting. The plants give it the right touch and it's the perfect space to come and get some work done while you sip on some delicious coffee.

If you want hibachi rice rather than white rice with your meal,it is an extra fee. The place is well lit & very clean. Plenty of parking available. The seaweed salad and crab salad were decent. My Ramen was just average. I was a bit disappointed in the egg and the pork was tough. My sister liked her hibachi chicken, though I didn't care for it. The service was OK, though there were some misunderstandings with the waiter, who didn't really seem to have a good knowledge of the menu. I think this is a type of place you have to try a few dishes to find out which ones are good

This morning on our way home we took a special detour to have breakfast here. I asked for the same veggie omelette, hoping to re-experience their unique and delicious creation, but alas! it was a total disappointment! The distinctively creative design was gone, and in its stead was just an average, run-of-the-mill omelette, all the while (to make things even worse) sans the spinach that was specified on the menu (which was generously offered 4 years ago). I attach photos from 4 years ago for my dear readers to compare and understand my perspective. The homemade biscuit was still as warm, fluffy and tasty as before, so was the attentive and friendly service. However, we did get the feeling that this place had gone downhill, and are unlikely to return again.

I just realized they have pizza after my mom ordered one the other day, so I had to try a pepperoni one. The crust is so nice and thick that you can be full from one slice.
