Again, Rite Aid customer service is terrible. With the pharmacy not being open on the weekends and taking 3 to 4 days to fill a prescription that was received by this store on Friday afternoon when I need it for breathing does not impress me! Unfortunately I do not have a lot of choices where to shop because Rite Aid has a lock on Medicare covered prescriptions in this town. Consider me as being a disgruntled customer that wishes I had more shopping options than having no choice but to shop at this store. The Seaside Rite Aid pharmacist informed me that according to their computer, the Advair disc I needed was in stock in Warrenton and I drove 36 miles round trip to that Rite Aid location only to learn they don't stock it and never have, as it is special order only! Hopefully a company like Amazon will get into the pharmacy business as they know who the customer is and how to give prompt service. Maybe Rite Aid should reconsider their business model as what is offered does not work! I expected more from a national company and look forward to the day that this store closes when some other pharmacy opens and delivers service with a good attitude. read more

The pharmacy service at RiteAid in Seaside is exceptional. The staff know customers by name. They pro-actively keep customers informed about refills to make it convenient to coordinate picking up multiple scripts. They have a good record of vaccinations. The service is always polite, always thoughtful. read more

Wow, airport prices except not at the airport. Go to Safeway next door and dont spend a dime here if you can help it. Price gouging the tourists like a lot of places in the area do. Same products next door for 30 to 40% less. I walked in... looked for 2 items I needed and left without either of them. The pharmacy here is awful. My partner was prescribed a refill of his medication on the 15 of June but didn't realize until over a week later. Based on the dates the medication was prescribed until, we believe they had to have charged his insurance and then just put the medicine back into stock, which is what the psychiatrist also believed. She even tried to prescribe it again because the pharmacy was so difficult to deal with. But there was nothing the psychiatrist could do as they had already charged his insurance and instead of trying to fix the problem, made him wait until his insurance would cover it. One guy was clueless on what to do because the person he was working with had already left, the other woman was not willing to help whatsoever. Either way this mistake left my partner without medication for over two weeks. ** Had medicine I was prescribed on the 21st of June that I was asking to be filled again after it had been put back into stock, because I had been waiting for test results to determine if I needed to pick it up. Pharmacist (Maria, I think her name was) told my partner there was no medication for me, only what I had picked up already when they were originally filled. I called the pharmacy immediately after. She blamed me for not picking it up before when I hadn't been sure I was supposed to take it, when she had just told my partner they didn't even have my medicine sent there at all. I wanted it filled again to pick up the next day, and straight off the bat she was really rude and defensive about how I hadn't come to pick it up when they filled it and they had put it back into stock. That wasn't the problem, the problem was that she told my partner the medicine wasn't even sent there. The pharmacy here is AWFUL. Every single time there's a problem. The employees are incompetent or rude. Go literally anywhere else if you don't want an unpleasant experience. read more

I just want to say...I have never delt with a pharmacy so very unprofessional in my life. Random closed days not listed when calling for open hours. I made an appt. for immunization walked in and was closed and for the next 2 days RX was closed. The app is 100 % unless as I tried uploading all my insurance info and all the I s dotted and Ts crossed double checked everything. I spent 20 min trying to get all my insurance to update so not to hold up lines and it dumped it all.  It appears I'll be moving all my RX needs to another company. And Seaside Rite Aid get zero stars...just so neighbors and tourist are aware. One person in Seaside pharmacy will bump it to a 1 star...she is the only reason you get that...Page is her name You can do better Patricia read more

APPLE PAY! I'm not a regular at any of the many Rite Aid stores, but happened to stop at this one on today's drive through Seaside. Found a wide array of items, modest pricing, wide isles, and friendly help. Seems a good place to find specific and otherwise hard-to-find items and one-off's, as well as those things that you seem to need spur-of-the-moment. I won't hesitate to stop again. The fact that they take Apple Pay is reason enough for me. read more

The most horrible rite aid I have been to ever. The pharmacy is closed quite often the last year or so. The pharmacist is useless and acts all rushed when I have asked questions before. The older lady that thinks she's the pharmacist is all bossy and short to all the other employees that are in that section. There's a very elderly lady that does prescription pickups that can't hear. You repeat your name and birth date many times and after about the fourth time she hands you a piece of paper to write your information down. So ridiculous to have to do this. At least get a hearing aid. Manager looks miserable and so unhappy all the time. If you're that unhappy at a job why don't you look for something else. Cashiers at the front are okay. read more

When she ID'd me, which always sucks in front of the guys, this Mary woman began questioning my real ID's validity for a couple minutes, then started heckling me about being "so immature for my age" for getting frustrated by having to prove my ID was real when that's actually her job. Im also curious what exactly did she expect from a 21yr old frat bro? I'm all for donations, but if you ever donate to whatever cause they have they will have it so you automatically donate every single time. No matter who you talk to or if you don't even give them a phone number they will automatically round up your charge and not tell you about it. I have requested several times to be taken off because now it is donating more than just rounding up, if I want to and have the funds to I will I can't do it every time. I've spoken to two managers a male and female and they both had let me know that my own and my ex needed to be taken off because it was causing fights when I was in the relationship. read more

THE NOT SO GOOD: Mundane and uninviting storefront and interior, and they're a big chain which I don't much care for. I love to shop at Rite Aid but as I have gotten older and have arthritis in both hips I find it increasingly difficult. I have asked several clerks why there are no electric shopping carts but have not gotten any answers. I live in Seaside Oregon and a lot of retirees also live here. Unfortunately, we've had occasion to shop at this Right Aid on several occasions. The store is merchandised very poorly. They have these great big sale signs everywhere but in the little tiny Fine Print on them it says that you don't get the sale price until you spend $250. In my opinion, this is very poor business practice. Also, the managers and the staff seems very poorly trained. They have a hard time doing the basic functions on the cash register. They couldn't even check the balance on our gift card. They told us that we would have to call the main Rite Aid number. What... like they don't have a phone? And by the way, really watch what they're ringing up because today, sure enough, several items didn't ring up at the correct price and if we hadn't caught it we would've paid full price for sale items. I was on vacation there last week (10-8-17) and purchased ear plugs and breathe right for a friend. THey were the wrong ones. The next day Iwwent back to return them but had lost my receipt. I had used a debit card to purchase. The manager at the pharmacy department remembered me and said becuase I didn't have a receipt they would only give me 50% of the original cost!! She was nice but blamed it all on corporate and the software program. She knew what I paid 24 hours earlier, and in this age of technology, she couldn't look up my card??? Very frustrating and since I was leaving town, I chose not to argue over $10 but I will NEVER go to another Rite_Aid! They should minimully give their "managers" the option to override that system. read more

Store ok - pharmacy is not worth the rest of the store's good points. Consistency is a very big pharmaceutical problem. They never seem to get what my doctors send over. They do not fill prescriptions reason being, your insurance will not pay for this for another month, however, in the computer it says that my doctor doubled the dosage and said patient could refill early if needed. Some meds cannot and should not be stopped abruptly and this they have done to me several times on a Friday night. To my face, they tell me that I should have not used the phone to renew my prescriptions and should have come in face to face, however, I have Parkinsons and have been falling down, they knew this too. Lead pharmacist acted indifferently. Took my business elsewhere. read more

We shop here occasionally when we're in town. Sales ads are deceiving. I accidentally paid full price for something that was on sale, went to return it when it was broken in the package, and they didn't want to give me the full price for it that I had paid originally. They were incredibly frustrating and the person who helped me was completely incompetent. Never again. I'll go anywhere else. read more
