Back in Mar 2022, I was on a road trip from Southern Cal to up north through San Francisco, CA, Portland, OR, and Discovery Bay, WA. I swung on by Long Beach, WA on my way back to Portland. Got a chance to check out Peninsula Pharmacy. I was actually looking for postcards as I'm a collector of postcards and magnets wherever I travel to. However, their postcards weren't to my liking, but I still walked around the place to see what goodies I can find. I bought 3 pairs of socks... avocados, buzzing bees, and crackling octopus. SO CUTE! It's a nice pharmacy that not only sells pharmacy stuff, but all sorts of other stuff. However, when I was there lingering around the socks for so long because I could not decide, I felt I was being watched by one of the women who works there. Just a feeling I got... you just know when someone has an eye on you LOL. I'm not referring to the romantic way LOL. Anyway, I had to quickly decide otherwise they might have gotten more suspicious of my intent. All I wanted to do was to pick the best designs. It's not like I was going to run out with them socks without paying LOL. I always pay for my goods. Anyhoo, do drop on by when you're in Long Beach, WA. Perhaps you'll pick up a pair of socks or two. We were in town for vacation and were shopping the downtown shops. We saw items in their window and decided to go in. My daughter was looking for a gift for her dog sitter. We stopped at the jewelry on a table in front of the cashier. When I had an older women I would say in her seventies, stop in front of us just glaring at us. I believe she thought we were going to shop lift. I thought how rude. We went to another area of the store, again she was right next to us glaring. Very uncomfortable and we are NOT shop lifters!!!!!! We actually purchased items, and she was right behind us following us. NEVER will I go into that pharmacy again. I have had a compounded script here for years. This the second time they have messed up my order when going away for a vacation or work. This time was the final kicker, though. They sent me the wrong prescription when I texted in the correct one, so I have proof. Then I was leaving the next day to go out on a cruise for work for 2 weeks, so there was no way for me to receive mail. They wouldn't help but offer me a solution other than they will send it to me in the mail. It took me 1.5 years to taper into this medication. Now I am going to have to quit the medication cause I can't restart again when I come back home in 2 weeks due to its side effects. Medications aren't something to mess up or send the wrong one so I will not ever be recommending these folks. read more

The cashiers are the highlight of this place. Most of the pharmacists are decent enough except the Chinese chick. I called in a prescription and she was on the phone. I was told it would be ready that day. I couldn't make it in that same day so I came in a few days later. Well, I had a 20 minute wait for bs because the prescription wasn't even filled and one of the women had to fill it. I gave 2/5 because of the exceptional service of the cashiers. The vibes are sincere and they always love to talk to you; and are super friendly! I love the pharmacy for when I have to buy little gifts and Knick knacks. read more

This is an unsolicited review, no conflicts of interest. I am both a prescriber and a customer for this pharmacy and its sister business in Ilwaco. In my experience, they give consistently superb service. When a patient needs something unusual, they will help if they can. The person who is characterized by her ethnicity in a December 2021 review has an actual name; cares a lot; and does her best. I don't ask more than that from anybody. If you characterize people you don't know by their race and ethnicity, rather than as individuals, consider staying home. I didn't find this place to be pricey at all and I'm from Oregon. I found impress stick on nails for half price, a beanie for 8 bucks, a little desk frog/plant thing for 3 bucks....They have really cool and unique items you can't find other places. A HUGE selection of sugar free items!!! Score! Me and my husband will come back here next time we go to seaside/Astoria. Only about a 20 -25 min drive from Astoria and it's worth it. My husband found a really cool beanie with a built in LED light. I was pleasantly surprised they had impress stick on nails here in designs that Walmart didn't carry. Love this place!!! read more

First off, the woman at the front check-out was great! She was so nice and helpful. She didn't just tell me where to find what I was looking for, but she actually walked me to it. I give her 5 stars hands down. Very sweet woman. I went in to buy a spiral notebook 10.5x8. They didn't have one. I saw they had the tiny ones with the spiral across the top that was 3x5 and it was $5.99. I checked Walmart price and it was $.35. The next size was 5x7 and it was $6.99. I checked Walmart and it was $.97. I left and went to nearby Dollar Store Plus and got a composition notebook for $2.50. I checked Walmart and it was $1.00. This seems like a reasonable small town mark-up. The pharmacy was absolutely ridiculous. It was nice and clean. Seemed to have cute gift shop type stuff in the front of store, but I was so irritated I didn't stop and look. Had the notebooks been more reasonable chances are I would have looked around and made a bigger purchase. (I want a magnet from the area and I saw a really cute purse.) I would give 1 or 2 stars, but the woman up front won me over. read more

Long Beach Pharmacy is a compounding pharmacy that really knows how to take care of its customers. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and interested in helping people. LBP is capable of compounding a wide range of medications, and serves as a conventional pharmacy as well. LBP has always done a good job with my patients. I read more

They were very friendly and helpful. As soon as I came in the door and looking around, a lady came up to me and ask "hey sweetie is there anything I can help you find?" She took me right to it. I am a post op patient stuck at an RV campground 2 miles south of the pharmacy. I needed some medication a doctor told me to take as soon as i could. I called the pharmacy and not one clerk would ask for permission to bring the pills to me! i offered anyone who would help $25.00. She transferred me to the pharmacy and they were goin on lunch in an hour and NONE OF THEM WOULD. there excuse was because they were not driving that way! then she said Sorry. i said BS you just don't care! read more

While on vacation I began to experience severe pain from what I later determined was an abscessed tooth. I visited the Long Beach Pharmacy several times to fill prescriptions. Each time the pharmacist and other staff members were extremely helpful. I also appreciated the product availability. They have most things that you'd expect from a small town pharmacy. What I needed were commode liners for my father in law which they do not carry. Need to go to the Walgreens in Warrenton for those. Prices are ridiculous, even for a tourist town. read more

Went to the Long Beach Pharmacy today and just had to write a review. They always go above and beyond to serve their customers and today was no exception. The manager and pharmacist on staff took time, care and concern with our questions and were thorough and thoughtful with their pharmaceutical answers. They made conscientious recommendations and genuinely showed attentiveness to our needs. Every employee we encountered was super friendly and helpful. As my daughter expressed, "I love going in to the pharmacy because I always find something new!" The only thing that doesn't change about the pharmacy is their stellar service.
