A fun little, touristy store with LOTS OF STUFF! Toys, trinkets, key chains, stuffed animals, games, refrigerator magnets, collectible shot glasses, sunglasses, some neat old-time lunch boxes, and many items that say "Long Beach, WA" on them, the best kind of souvenir. We've been in the store a couple times over the years looking for tie-die t-shirts and hoodies, of which they usually have a great selection. The day we went "finding," we didn't see a single adult size tie-die t-shirt in the whole store (we searched the whole town that day, actually) so will have to try again at some point. The real draw, in my opinion, is the selection of kites. Really good quality too. The nearby beach is the perfect place to fly them too. We usually visit tourist beach towns like Long Beach mid-week when kids are still in school so we've never had an issue with spotty customer service. So many complaints from other Yelpers makes me think you reap what you sow. Many people come in with kids making noise and running all over the place, touching everything, etc. If I were a shop owner or worker I'd get a tad perturbed too. Just saying. Will definitely be going back to Stormin Norman's next time we're in town. ZOLTAR even meets you at the door and can tell your personal fortune for a small fee. read more

Lots of apparel, trinkets, and toys for kids. The staff is not friendly, they were too busy talking about their personal lives to care what any customer needed and so I'd definitely not come here ever again. read more

Should reduce the prices my god. I know this is a touristy place because I've been here 2x but damn. The only good thing I can say is the selection is decent. Customer service people seem very short with you. No greeting or thank you upon entering or exiting. I bought a pair of pants that were 30$ and that was a stretch. They had 2 hoodies I loved but did not have either in my size M. I got the whats out is our speech. 7.99 for a fridge magnet or keychain. 9.99 for a pocket knife . T shirts range from 14-29$ hoodies and sweaters range from 29-46$ it seems so steep here. Cool and neat stuff to look at and they do have sandcastle stuff. I like to collect either a shot glass, magnet or keychain any place I go touristy wise but that will stop if the prices are on par with this place read more

I'm giving Stormin Norman's 5 stars based on a few things. First, I figured this would be just another tourist gift shop; which don't get me wrong as I enjoy tourist gift shops, but they had all kinds of fun stuff. Kites, clothing, Long Beach swag, toys, games, trinkets, stuffed animals, and some lunch boxes I haven't seen since the 80's. They also had some Night Before Christmas, Frozen, Wonder Woman, and Dr. Who memorabilia that I haven't seen before. The clerk was friendly and made some recommendations on where to get good coffee, a used bookstore, and food. I mean c'mon, they have Zoltar!! I understand people have "bad days." But it's never an excuse for what just happened at this establishment. The cashier was absolutely terrible with his customer service. My children and I had walked in to view the inventory when he verbally attacked my minor child for "riding a skateboard" -- he was NOT riding his skateboard. He then loudly went on about the terrible experiences he was having "this weekend" due to the busy holiday (to another couple that was checking out) about me, WHILE making fun of "people like me." I ignored this, then asked him to address me, and not my minor child. The entire time, I talked calmly yet firmly. And yet, he proceeded to rudely (and loudly, so the entire store could hear), mock me saying (again, so the whole store could hear): "you need to change your attitude!" I asked him who the owner was because he obviously was not doing the business any favors. He continued to banter and get angry, refused to give me the owners contact information, and told me to leave a review on FB. So, here is my review: TERRIBLE customer service! They sell the exact same merchandise in the other stores on this strip. So, spare yourself the unprofessional attitude and mocking tones, and take your business somewhere where they appreciate their customers. I have NEVER experienced such condescending, rude, and mocking behavior ... EVER ... in a commercial and/or business environment. read more

Tons of selections, but the prices were sky high. I get that it is s tourist town, but things were priced higher than that. If they want to move more merchandise, I would consider reducing costs on many items by about 10%. Not a lot, but enough to make people feel okay about dumping money. read more

I've visited Long Beach for over 30 years. And when I go, there are a few stops I always make, "Cottage Bakery", "Marsh's Museum" & "Storman Norman's". However this experience wasn't the same as my usual experience. We visited on April 13, I brought my 2 year old grand daughter. My friend was with me. There were no customers in the store. I found a few toys for her and a umbrella. Because she didn't want to leave the store, I chose to take her out while my friend paid. The clerk told my friend she has a 2 year old and would not take her child in "this store". She was rude and judgmental to my choice to shop in the store with my 2 year old grand daughter. It really upset me, and if I had known I would have not purchased anything from the store. I won't be in the future. read more
