This was by far our favorite shop in long beach. Not only did the the shop have such unique finds, it also had one of a kind items created directly at the location by the owner and artist herself. Everything was more than reasonably priced, to the point it felt like a steal for some items. If I head back to Long Beach in the future, this will be my first stop! This place has a unique blend of art, beautiful jewelry, funny things, and even useful tools and gifts. Very refreshing as I love these types of shops but usually end up seeing the same type of things. All new items I had never seen. read more

I have been going to this little shop since we got a beach house here in town. And it's one of my favorite stores in town. The man at the front desk is very kind, always very patient with me when I get my money out (I'm a bit slow). There is also a woman who makes handmade earrings for the shop, I have a pair and they are lovely! They also have plenty of gag gifts like magnets and stickers that have funny pictures or quotes on them. Earrings are cheap for handmade, $14. The rest of the stuff I bought was around $5-$10. Assuming the bigger things in the store like tote bags or bracelets will cost a bit more. 10/10 will come again read more

Wow what a great little shop - spoke a little with proprietor Heather and soon realized many jewelry items here made by her. Pretty, unique and inexpensive to boot, felt good buying a piece here knowing it was local artisan made. We loved Niva, what a cute little shop full of oddities. I purchased a chest that looked like Encyclopedia books that opened up as drawers. I'd never seen one before so I was excited to find a cool and odd gift for my girlfriend. I also purchased a necklace made by a local artist. The owner is welcoming and friendly. She does a great job at having unique items and none of the standard tourist fare most of the shops nearby have to offer. She has some eclectic items and lots of things I've never seen before. This tiny little shop is truly a remarkable little gem in downtown Long Beach. It is filled with interesting and creative little treasures - a lot of which are created by the woman who owns the shop (whose name I wish I knew). It's quirky and vibrant and vintage-inspired. This shop sells jewelry, journals, wind chimes, purses, and so many little odds and ends - you just need to stop by and visit for yourself. The back of the shop appears to be the owner's art studio where, I imagine, she creates many of the products for her shop. Every time I stop by, I feel inspired to be creative. It's a charming, welcoming little place - and the products are affordable as well. It's one of my favorite things about Long Beach. The owner offers so much creative energy through this store. I love it. Seriously, when I grow up, I want to be just like her. read more

I've been to a lot of cutesy beach/nick-nack/antique shops up and down the West Coast lately. This is one of my faves, especially considering it's in a small town filled with generic souvenir shops. This shop has all kinds of unique vintage stuff to decorate your crib, all at really reasonable prices! Do I need a walking stick with a billiards ball on the end of it? No! The coolest place in Long Beach! I love Heather's jewelry, not too mention all the other interesting stuff. The prices are all so reasonable too. The lamps made from tin and jewels are way cool. Heather has a great eye for funky retro stuff, I'm so glad she moved to Long Beach, I'll visit every time I'm at the beach! NIVA green is a treasure without measure in my home away from home, Long Beach! This tiny shop is filled with a wide range of artistic keepsakes; fun jewelry (for your home as well as yourself), unique lamps, soaps and candles with the most wonderful scents, desirable kitchen towels, special vintage items (minus one pedestal cake safe - couldn't resist!), incredible journals, beeswax crayons and so much more that it will take quite a while to explore all that is on display. The prices are very reasonable and the owner, Heather Ramsay, hand crafts many of the items in NIVA green. Absolutely fresh, delightful store. Shopped there 2 years in a row while I was visiting the area & found treasures galore. A pair of earrings I wanted got inadvertently misplaced, & the owner (Heather Graham) found them, gave me a discount & mailed them to me long after I had returned home. Such great service.
