Totally fun shop! I needed a belt, a quick thrift-store search found this place. Too perfect, I could've shopped here all day but my wife wanted to move along. So many fun shiny objects, very reasonable prices, many interesting Collectibles. I found the belt that I'd come for but it needed more holes. "Do you have a leather punch?" I asked. I won't return. My experience with the young man was not welcoming or helpful. When I asked him, "had he come across, or have for sale an oil lamp with a catalytic converter, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know, and continued with what he was doing." It seemed he didn't want my money spent in the shop. read more

This store is very unprofessional because I went in there to look around and I asked the owner there is I can see something in the glass case and his response was "do you have 150$ in your pocket " I said why I'm just looking and maybe I will buy it and maybe I won't but I'm a costumer and we should be able to look at stuff before we decide to buy it or not , so he was very rude and very disrespectful and discriminative towards me because I'm gay , and throughout the time I was at the store he told his wide look at that gay dude so that told he he was a gay hater discriminating against gays , so don't shop in this store they hate gays and they discriminated Mexicans also . read more

I loved this store! It was quirky, fun, well organized and prices were very fair for a touristy town. The owner was very nice and let us browse freely. There was no comparison to the other thrift store in town and I much enjoyed my shopping experience here. I look forward to returning the next time we're in Seaside! read more

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? First off, I don't think my comment of their shop was all that bad. Just thought the prices were a bit high, and that they are stiff when it comes to negotiations. Get over it. Second, don't advertise or give your stores mission statement on my yelp review. You have your own page for that, and can easily put that under your stores information on here. Charity or not, I have been to SEVERAL thrift shops, that look like they are thriving more than this store ever could, and its because they put great prices on their stuff, and are more than willing to negotiate if that means a customer leaves happy, and they move their inventory, to be able to bring in new stuff. I understand that this is some 'resort' type place, where most people go here when they are on vacation, passing through while on vacation, or its great weather; so prices EVERYWHERE in this town is expected to be higher. Like I said though, I've been to other beach places with thrift shops with prices that are deals. If someone doesn't like my review, either ignore it and praise those who actually like what you do, or look at your work ethics and notice that there might be spots that you can improve on. I am only one out of many that found an issue. Its not the end of the world. Its not like I have a million followers that hang on my every word. If you are looking for a perfect score on your store, I would suggest to lose that goal quick, because there is no such thing as perfection. I didn't like my experience here to the fullest that it could have been, maybe I will next time (like I had mentioned before in my original review). I am always willing to try. Rag & Bone is one of the coolest shops in all of Seaside that other shops of it's type can only admire! They are very diverse and down to earth, offering an incredible selection of collectables, vintage clothes and a wonderful variety of odds and ends.... With super reasonable pricing! As well, they have one of the MOST unique military assortments I have EVER seen! The owners/operaters.... Mike and Linda are too cool for words, they have been very fair with every deal that we have ever made ...buy or sell. If you are in, or going to Seaside... I am shocked to see so many not-great reviews for this place! I love it. Probably swing by almost any time I am in town, and almost always find something cool and random. It isn't that big, has tons of military stuff, but has such a fabulous random assortment of stuff it is always worth it to meander through. For the record... they also have completely reasonable and great prices. These days most "thrift stores" are ridiculously overpriced... and that is not at all so for Rag and Bone. Fun shop to go in and browse. Everything and more can be found. Vintage clothes, toys, books, DVDs, gear, knives, swords, shoes...you name it. One of the best selections of military surplus on the Oregon Coast. Lots of cool stuff wall to wall & floor to ceiling....so chill and make an adventure out of it. Prices fit every budget. What may seem junk to one is treasure to another, so keep an open mind. Our latest score was shemaghs that are tougher and tougher to find. Rag & Bone's prices were cheaper than I could get them online...plus I am supporting the local economy. Mike is a damn nice guy and knows his stuff. My lovely lass also picked up some piano sheet music for dirt cheap. One was a book that she had as a kid, so it meant a lot. Who says 2 bucks can't buy happiness? If you have some old stuff that could be re-purposed, bring it and toss it in the Free Pile in the shed out front. It could make a small difference in someone's day or life. read more

A must stop on every trip to Seaside. It is in an old building and is a bit crowded, but the treasures are there and decently priced. I have Pyrex, Vernon-ware and many other items to buy. Hubby found a fishing reel and was very happy with his buy. Prices are reasonable and it looks like things don't stay on the shelf for long. They also sell clothes, art, books and so much more. This place is weird. The prices are all over the map (a vintage cast iron "gem" pan for a mere $30, versus a way-overpriced cast iron skillet for $70), and so is the stock. There were great vintage cook books, terrible 80's decorating books, scary clothes, and a huge military collectables department. But it's totally worth checking out, because you never know when you'll find your gem "gem" pan. See what I did there? What an awesome pun. read more

Good service. Lots of bargains staff was helpful and funny. I bought a super long rain coat and Michelle got a pretty dress needless to say grandma paid for the "treasures" that the grandchildren found. Plus the tee shirts from everywhere. Had fun and took funny photos. Will go back read more

It's an ok store. The guy in the store seemed to be nice enough with my limited contact with him. Lots of interesting stuff and a interesting building. But I thought the prices were quite high. I would say it's more of a "Collectibles" store than a thrift store. Needless to say I didn't find anything that piqued my interest at a price I was willing to pay. They carry some guns and ammo and lots of military surplus and vintage stuff as well. read more

This is a really cool thrift store! They have a really large selection of vintage clothes and old military uniforms and other military stuff mixed in with about everything that would normally be at a thrift store! Prices were great, service was great! fun store to browse around in right next door to the seaside factory outlet stores. read more

I'm glad I stopped because I got to see some cathrineholm cookware! $25 for a saucepan with lid and $45 for a brown lasagna pan with cradle. Pretty cool store for lots of vintage dishes like fiesta and handful of Pyrex. read more

Lots of military stuff, gross clothes, and not much else. Extremely friendly, but overall I wasn't impressed at all.

Great thrift shop,prices are very low compared to Goodwill ,or the three other shops in the area,Caring staff very helpful,they also have another store by the High school.Can't beat the prices and customer service.Shopped many times at both locations and will continue to do so. read more
