Weird Sisters has clothing, jewelry, nik-naks, antiques (like a typewriter) and more. The owner was kind and steered us into the other mysterious looking rooms (there is an "entry room" where it's motion activated and lights go off and music plays...really fun!...). The lighting differs from space to space and it's done as if a theatrical stage. Very unique, playful and creative. A humorous and cool experience~!

They have so many unique goodies whether shopping for a gift or yourself: prints and other artwork, stationary, ceramics (including such cute mugs), art supplies (indigenous handmade paints!), bath and body items (Wato soap, yes please!), housewares, treats, adorable accessories and clothing, etc. Many items are local, too! They are always really friendly and nice in the shop, and it's just such a pleasure to wander. I honestly think my mom, sisters, and I nearly spent an hour there. If you can, time it so you can check out the Sunday Astoria Farmers market while there. Parking is not great as it's right in the middle of downtown Astoria, but that's just the nature of the beast, and worth it!

Lots of items with colorful fish designed items: mugs, bowls, paper napkins, dish towels, cards. Make sure to check out the various Lutefisk mugs and their funny sayings. Along one of the walls is an assortment of Finnish licorice, Nordic treats, Icelandic chocolate and saltlakrits. We picked up several items for ourselves and Nordic friends.
