The CVS on 347 has a weird U shaped lot, I'm always afraid someone is going to back up when I drive thru the skinny lot. Once inside, they have all items as a typical drug store. What makes this place even better, they have a machine-app to make Christmas cards with pictures off your phone. Easy Peasy! I have been coming here my whole life and have had no problems until today…read more This morning I went over to get my prescription and meds. It's a small town and there were several people in the store. Since it's now already out there for everyone to know- I have recently been suffering a UTI. I have terrible anxiety while shopping, especially in my town and I just wanted to make a discrete purchase for my meds at the back with the pharmacy. They were closed so I put the UTI treatments and such into my concealed personal bag for purchase once they opened. I wasn't leaving the store. I went up to the front of the store to purchase some drinks before I had to wait at the pharmacy. As I was purchasing my drinks, the manager stood in front of the doors before coming over to ask if I was going to get the things I put in my bag. I told her I was going to at the pharmacy but she questioned my shopping methods at the counter: like why I didn't use the see-through, open basket and told me that she saw me look into a camera, that my look "gave me away." Has anyone ever NOT made eye contact with those giant black balls on the ceiling? And prior to the first purchase, I even made it known to her that I was going to the back counter to purchase my meds when they opened. The whole situation was based on an assumption and I felt obligated to take out the personal things and buy them right there on the spot when I was already uncomfortable in the first place. I get that loss prevention is important but there is a bag law in New York State that charges a fee to those who need a shopping bag. Now, many people carry personal bags for shopping around and purchases. On top of this fact, last time I checked, nothing is considered a theft until you have left the store with unpaid items, which I was not in the process of doing and was rudely accused of. I do not feel comfortable shopping here anymore and do not plan on supporting this business if this is the type of treatment shoppers get when they are looking for privacy and peace. If anyone feels the slightest bit anxious or feels like they might look awkward shopping, don't go to this location- you might get wrongly accused or publicly embarrassed.

How is that my wife and I had the exact opposite experience as all these people have had? Well, when the owners of said business decide to sell it two weeks after you enroll your prescriptions. So basically, you can pretty much disregard all of the reviews up until November 2025, as they were posted under Town Pharmacy's previous family-owned front. I don't know who these new guys are, but this place is as hot of a mess as it gets. Nobody currently working here seems to have any idea what they're doing. They consistently get confused. I've called three times asking to have the same two prescriptions refilled and delivered to my home. Each time, nothing was done. In one instance, someone answered and asked me to "Call my doctor to get the ball rolling" while he worked on getting my order. Uhh...isn't that what I just called YOU to do? The venerable icing on the cake was one morning when my wife called to order her insulin. She was told it would be delivered same-day. Gets a callback a little time later: "Sorry, it's too dark out. Someone will come tomorrow." It was 4pm. My wife and I were left speechless. Until, and IF, this place gets its act together, I'd avoid this pharmacy. Already, reluctantly, in the process of moving my scrips to Walgreens.

Surgery was a success, all fine there. Go home. The very next day I get a call from M H Mandelbaum Orthotic & Prosthetic asking for payment. $450 for the brace. It was never mentioned how expensive it would be. I look up how much the exact same brace costs online. $100. I ask the M H Mandelbaum receptionist what is up with the nearly 500% up charge? She rudely responds, "What upcharge? We DELIVERED the brace to you the day of the operation. That is what you paid for." Wow, relax lady. First of all.. Dr. Mandelbaum did NOT even put the brace on.. Mather hospital staff put the brace on.. and it was not adjusted properly.. not their fault.. Dr. Mandelbaum should have put it on correctly.. and explained in detail how to use this whopping $450 brace with all its settings that they high pressure sold me.. But he didn't. And I could have been informed I would need this brace and ordered the brace online days ago and saved myself a much needed $350. For profit medicine at its sleaziest.
