This has got to be the worst Walgreens I've ever been to in my life. The pharmacy is the pits…read more Plus, you can never get through on the phone. Even doctors can't get through on the phone. They leave a prescription order, and you have to pick it up because the doctor called it in, and you need the prescription. They claim it's not there, but it's actually because they never check their phone line. It's wild that a doctor can call in a prescription for you and still can't get through to the pharmacist. The store is understaffed, and the staff doesn't seem to care, even when they're understaffed, about helping you and getting things resolved unless you go in there and raise holy hell. The store shelves are half empty. If you are planning to pick up non-prescription medication, consider ordering from Amazon instead of trying to find it on their shelves, as you'll have a better chance of success. The only reason I go to this location is to pick up prescriptions for a family member. I don't use it myself because of the horrible experience I've had here, picking up prescriptions, and having to wait, or having to call and not get staff on the phone, and being on hold for over an hour. I do not recommend this location, and frankly, from the reviews for other Walgreens locations in the area, I don't recommend them either.

But that changed in an instant, and they are no longer my number one pharmacy. I was having surgery, and I had my prescriptions sent to this Pharmacy. I got a call from the staff saying that they couldn't fill my oxycodone prescription because they were backordered 3 to 6 months. That's unacceptable. That's a prescription that should be easily filled. It shouldn't be backordered. I asked where else I could find it, and they suggested calling Wegmans, which had it in stock and filled it very easily. I don't understand how a pharmacy could not have a prescription that is so common and needed when someone has surgery, like I did. They filled the other three prescriptions I had sent in for different things during my first couple of months. However, when you can't fill a simple prescription like that, you quickly switch to a place that can fill everything, and that's where I am now. I can't in good conscience recommend using Choice Pharmacy because they let me down at a time when I needed them the most.

She told me I should come to the store earlier if I wanted my free item, despite me politely explaining that my work schedule only allows me to shop after 7 p.m. Her tone and attitude made me feel like I was a bother rather than a valued customer. She did write out of stock (see attached photo), however it was done to get me out of the store. My inquiry was to ask about the coupon expiration date and to see if there were any exceptions as I was told the bakery closes at 7pm. My time of arrival was after 8pm (see attached receipt and coupon). I shop at this location regularly and spend a significant amount of time and money there, so this treatment was especially upsetting. I hope this message can be used to improve service going forward, and that future customer interactions reflect the respect and appreciation loyal customers deserve. I shop at the store a lot, and I've also observed the many pricing errors now seem less frequent (meaning fewer trips to the customer service desk), and the folks who staff that desk often (but not always) are more friendly than in the past. The store offers a good selection of groceries, and prices, especially when one can catch a sale, generally seem reasonable, though as everyone knows, food prices have increased markedly especially over the past couple years. Many of the cashiers have been there for many years and I've come to know them by name and enjoy saying hello, which is nice.
