I approached the pharmacy window 1 minute before their scheduled lunch and they saw me coming . I waved my arms and said I'd like to pick up my prescription. They continued to shut down the awnings indicating that the pharmacy was closed ........ TOTALLY RUDE AND DISGUSTING !!! I'm all done with this RiteAid. No wonder the company is going broke. Poor customer service. Staff seems so uptight, is it because they are unhappy or there are theft issues with this place?? Or do customers mistreat them. Whatever it is, not all customers are the same. One of the women staff told my daughter to leave the store even though she was waiting for me OUTSIDE of the store. Just go elsewhere. I had to switch to this pharmacy after changing insurance. At first I was happy - since it's so close to my house and the few times I have shopped in the store have been pleasant. But the pharmacy is the worst I have ever dealt with! I brought in 2 prescriptions that are a controlled substance. Since I have new insurance and this is a new pharmacy for me, they needed to get prior authorization. Despite my doctor being in contact with them a few times and them promising to send the paperwork more than once - they still have not done it!!! I have been dealing with this for A MONTH!!!!! So I still do not have my medication! And to top it off - I had another doc send a prescription there online. This pharmacy does not even let you know when prescriptions are done! I do not understand how these people still have their jobs. To be clear - I am only giving 2 starts because of the experiences I have had in the store. If the rating was for the pharmacy only - I would want to give ZERO stars, if that was possible! read more

Four words: Crane Lake Petite Sirah for...$4! A lovely, bold bottle for really cheap. We make a special trip out here because it's been the only location that consistently stocks this. Otherwise, it's in an interesting location, in the Lake Forest Park Towne Center. We usually stop by after we finish browsing at Third Place Books. Come downstairs when leaving the bookstore and it's to your left. The store itself is clean and has the usual drug store items, and a healthy wine aisle. Checking out can take a moment, since they do not always have a cashier waiting for you. read more

The pharmacy typically opens late every day and the staff is always very rude. One employee, Ken, is ALWAYS rude and actively disinterested in his job. My main complaint is that I've asked to have my prescriptions put on auto refill at least 8 times and it NEVER gets done. Tonight, I went in and asked for my refill because I never received my auto refill. I told Ken this and told him I've given up on auto refill ever happening because I've asked so many times and it never gets done. in the four months i've been getting my prescriptions filled here i have had maybe two pleasant interactions with the pharmacists. most of the pharmacy staff is seemingly very bothered that customers are there. when i ask questions about how to get my prescription filled and what prescriptions they have on file for me i get round about, non-specific answers in response. it seems like they're not actually listening to what i'm asking and just responding with a scripted response. i leave feeling frustrated most if not every time i visit this rite aid. read more

She just put her head down and continued to help her, then waits for me to ask for a bag for my things and comments that it would be a shame for me to not have a bag for my things as she rips the handles! Selection is nice and the store is new, clean. 3 out of 4 visits/phone calls, the pharmacy has been unpleasant, unfriendly, impatient. The checkers are minimally better. When you call for pharm hours, the voice message says they're open until 7 on Sunday, but pharm actually closes at 6. Thanks, needed my medication! Rite Aid (in general) only uses the chip reader for credit, debit requires a swipe. Every other branch I've been to have notes posted indicating this, as it is a detail most likely missed by many customers. That's annoying enough, but this store has also posted a note on the chip reader that says, "Read the signs." Such snotty attitudes all around at this store. Avoid this place if you can go anywhere else. read more

I was in around 1:30pm today and I wanna give two reviews. Whoever the old guy was working the register at 1:30pm (middle-aged grey hair and glasses) I don't know if you're having a shit day or what but if you hate your job that much then you should get one where you're not working with people. Don't get why there's an ATM if the store won't break bills, that's a joke in itself. I asked him if he could break a twenty or if I had to buy something and I got a short answer of no. No you don't have any tens or anything? No I don't have that he said shortly. Now I don't know about other cashiers but I've been one and I sure as hell never knew what bills I did and didn't have without looking. Despite that, there four other registers. Instead of sounding like a dick he should've just said he's not allowed to do that. A simple rearranging of words changes the whole way something comes off. I also overheard him being short with a special needs customer as well. Shame I say! -10 stars for that dickhead. On the other hand, since I work nearby I often come in in the evening for small items and there's a wonderfully nice girl with brown hair and a cheery disposition despite what I'm sure is a shit job who works the nights most of the time. She deserves 10+ stars and a damn raise for putting up with asshole co-workers like old man Jenkins I had the displeasure of interacting with today. Old fart needs to be working in the back. I am loving the new look of the store. A much brighter and inviting look. I've been in several times since the start of the remodel and what seems to be the finished look and when I have needed help with the first aid section, the girl from the pharmacy has been more than amazing with my search. In fact she helped me with finding more than just pharmacy items practically the whole store. The customer service here is great, and will definitely keep me coming back. read more

The story starts with me and my two best friends going into the store and looking in the makeup section. And then we went to look in the lipstick to match a similar color to the one I have. As we were looking I noticed that a girl was rudely staring at us. Then she started talking to her manager. Thats when I knew something was up, then he walked over to us and accused of stealing and we told the real story. He was just standing there watching try to find the color then he asked if we were going to buy it and it made all of us feel super uncomfortable. This girl always had stared at me and my friends looking at us like we were stealing and it just seems super rude to assume that. And this has happened multiple times before with the same women. She has long up kept hair that is blonde and she looks around 45 beware when u enter the store. read more

Its clean, well-stocked and handy to stop at when I've been to Third Place Books or Town Center Ace Hardware. This branch of the Rite-Aid chain is much like the others: interesting maze-like layout, very tall shelving and patience required to find your items. read more
