Martha killed it today while filling a prescription. She was able to figure out a coupon to help reduce the price. Can't thank her enough. This Bartell's location - and probably all of their other stores - absolutely blow Walgreens out of the water in every way shape and form when it comes to customer service. read more

I wish they did not hide behind a AI. I cannot reach anyone to even ask a simple question. It is kind of frustrating.

I used to love Bartell Drugs, they would always go the extra mile. I have been going to them for over 20 years. However, in the last few months I keep getting the new Pharmacy Technician and everything has been messed up with my prescriptions so badly that I ended up going without my medication. I called in my prescription almost a week in advance (my prescription is not common and Kai (the Pharmacist) wanted the additional lead time and by the way Kai is excellent). I didn't have the prescription number on me, I was working at the time and asked the technician to please look up my account as I also wanted to know when I could pick it up. The technician looked it up and couldn't figure it out... I told her it was on a 28-day prescription rotation and I didn't have the date on me and I asked if she could count the days and let me know... SHE WAS SO MAD AT ME AND HUNG UP ON ME! ‍‍‍ So, I gave it a day and was hoping she had calmed down and I finally called back and she then decided she could help me and told me I could pick up in two days. I called her two days later and she told me they now don't have it in stock. At this point I'm out of my meds and she started calling around to other pharmacies which I appreciated, and was told the Lynnwood Pharmacy had it. So, I called Bartell's in Lynnwood and they said the woman at Mountlake Terrace had misinformed me ‍ and THEY wouldn't have it for another two days. So, the Lynnwood Bartell's told me they opened at 8:00 a.m., so here I sit and wait again, because the store is open, but the Pharmacy doesn't open until 9:00 a.m. read more

Cute throwback shopping center. It feels like I've stepped back in time whenever I visit this plaza. I've been here for brunch in the past so when I needed something from Bartell's while in Mountlake Terrace I was excited to checkout this location. It has a small footprint but has everything you need. The guy working up at the front was friendly and helped me check the price on a couple of products that were on a weekly ad sale but whose signs had already been changed for the next week's regular prices. I found what I needed and was in and out of here in no time at all. read more

It's been months and the out-of-stock problem continues. I was shopping last week (6-26-22) and wanted some allergy medicine and there must have been over 70% of the items in this section out-of-stock. So I went next door to QFC and got what I needed. Nice to know I can rely on a grocery store to get my over the counter medications. Next time I'm just going to QFC. Not wasting my time hoping Bartell's will be in stock. read more

I have been coming here for 10 years and have thought about switching to another pharmacy so many times. EVERY time I come in they are SO rude. Not just the pharmacists, but the staff as well. I called in to have a refill request faxed to my doctor on a Monday, and they didn't send it until Thursday. So when I called Friday, they hadn't heard back and wouldn't front me any pills. They had done it the 4 previous times and when I asked the pharmacist why she wouldn't she said it's against their policy... even thought they have done it before all the time. I called the Bartells closer to my house in Cap Hill on Broadway and they said it shouldn't be a problem, and they would do it but they don't have what I need in stock. So I called MLT back and told her the other pharmacy said it should be fine and isn't against poilcy.. her response was just "that's not his decision to make, it's mine" I'm sorry, why does it need to be an issue? Just give me my damn medication. It's not like it's pain meds or something.. it's anti-seizure medication. Stop being an a**hole and do your job. F this place. I'm done here. ZERO STARS should be an option. read more

This location is definitely convenient and has the same selection of other Bartell's in the area. They have a lot of unique food and gift items that go on sale quite often. It is a small store so they usually only have one person on the cash register, so it's kind of a gamble on how long it'll take to get out of the store with your purchase. I use the pharmacy here and haven't had a problem. The pharmacists and techs are very nice. And I love the online refill system. However, since this is a small time pharmacy and store they do take a lunch hour at some point in the afternoon and close down the entire operation for that hour, just something to be aware of. read more

The store is great id give it 5 stars. Friendly workers. Store is clean and usually fully stocked. Great discounts on some stuff like seasonal items. Sometimes very deep discounts like after holiday or season. They carry some things other stores dont. The pharmacy is not great i give it 2 stars. A star for being open longer hours and having the store to roam in. Some of the workers in this area are not very friendly and mostly bland cashiers at pharmacy area. If you get a prescription called in at your doctors by computer or called in. You would think it would be ready a couple hours later, nope. They always say 15-20 mins. Fine ill go buy groceries next door. Then 30 mins later they usually say few more minutes when i come back. Theres sometimes other people waiting to pick up too. If its a prescription refill called in for next morning pick up ready by 10 am. Nope not ready when i pick up at 2pm. still a 20 minute wait. If you wait a couple days later then your refill is for sure ready. If it weren't for the grocery store next door. Or the cheap seasonal items at good to great prices depending i would stop coming here for sure. Ill probably give other pharmacies a try on the days i dont need to shop or want to wait If you like waiting in line then waiting extra 20 mins for a prescription that should have been done before you got there this is the place for you. read more

Meh. This place is OK. Occasionally find good deals on random beauty products and processed food. Used to use the pharmacy but found it rather slow, but we only once a year when the fam would get the annual plague that doesn't clear up in a few days. Pharmacy techs and cashiers are friendly and helpful. read more

This is where I shop for a lot of my unmentionables but I always end up buying other things in the process. It's hard not to browse once you're in there. And it's also hard not to spend on something you know you will have a hard time looking for at other stores. For such a small store, they carry most everything- from small kitchen appliances to electronics gadgets. They have something for every age group. The store people are also helpful and polite. read more

I'm surprised at the bad reviews here. I like this Bartell's. The staff are friendly, the lines are short, and there's always plenty of parking. I have not used the pharmacy, so I cannot speak to that part of the store, but the rest of the staff is very helpful and nice. I like to go here to find Christmas presents during the holidays - they always have unique food and gift items and I just browse around finding all sorts of good stuff. read more

This place is a joke. Literally THE worst pharmacy I have ever been to. You call ahead for a prescription and they give you a time then it's not ready when you arrive. Tell you medicine is in only to get there to have them tell you they are all out of said medicine. If you use their ivr it confirms a pickup time yet you go to pick up and the rude staff state that the telephone system isn't connected so it doesn't know when they're out of medication. Honestly the biggest joke ever. I was supposed to receive a call back today when my order was ready and guess who didn't get a call back again? Bartells pharmacy is THE worst. Do yourself a favor and head down to Albertsons or Walgreens or anyone but this unprofessional sorry excuse for a pharmacy. I am going to pick up this last prescription tomorrow and it will be the last! read more

The "pharmacists" (even the pretend ones that actually only operate the cash register) are the rudest bunch on the planet. I used to go here only because it is within walking distance from my house. Now I would walk to Missoula to pick a prescription than go back here. I explained to the moron behind the counter that I was only supposed to have FIVE pills in my refill, instead of THIRTY. They were also supposed to be 10 milligram instead of 40! After I explained this, the gal behind the counter half rolled her eyes, looked at me and said, "So what is your question?". I told her no question, no problem, I will go to Rite Aid. See YA! read more

I mostly visit this Bartell since it is closer to my residence. All of the service is great with helpful employees especially the pharmacists and assistants are great. read more

They were very rude and unfriendly with me. I'm happy I found a new place to shop and I do not ever recommend this place.

I love Bartells, its locally owned and it always has what you need. It reminds me of my childhood, I used to go to the Greenwood one a lot when I was younger. This location is awesome. The staff are friendly, lots of parking, and very convienient. They have a great snack/candy section and I have never had any issues with the pharmacy. read more

REGARDING PHARMACY ONLY) I should have known better than to try again. Tell me why, of all things, the workers have to be vile and rude to me and my husband from the moment we walk up to the window?! I actually feel like maybe I have done something wrong to them?? I can't imagine what it is that I did, but I am never treated so poorly so consistently every time at any other establishment! How do they stay open?! What gives? They speak to me like I am an idiot, don't want to be bothered with any of my questions and the last visit the lady actually SIGHED, like full on huff/puff SIGHED in my face when I asked 'how much longer'... Only to be told (after she looked it up in the computer) they didn't have my medication. I went to a different location and got it filled happily by a nice staff member... no issues. WHY does this happen here???? read more

I get it, most pharmacies aren't that good. This has to be the WORST, hands down. It can't be that difficult to count pills, but they can take HOURS. Avoid this one at all cost, if you can. read more

Staff is always very friendly & welcoming. The store has a very mellow and low-down vibe to it, which makes you want to shop.

I don't use the pharmacy here but found the shopping to be low stress and unhurried even two nights before Christmas. The staff were cordial and efficient. I was in and out with my son's stocking-stuffers in no time. read more

Your standard Bartells. It is bigger than the one near where I live and I stopped here to look for a hand mixer. They only they had was a pricey one and some electric handhelds on sale for less than the hand mixer. Since I was on a quest, I don't have much else to say. read more

I've given this place a few visits, but they continue to let me down. The place looks dead when you walk in, but expect a wait when checking out or using the pharmacy. The staff at the pharmacy looks overworked and it's reflected in their attitudes, don't catch them on a bad day. There are better options around than this place. I won't be going back read more

I go to Bartell's for refills only when I'm desperate. The service is horrible! Not sure why it takes 2 days for a common refill there, and 2 hours at the Albertsons in Mountlake Terrace. And guess what? They're actually NICE at Albertsons. Take your business where you will be appreciated. And by the way- I used to always load up my cart with other items when picking up my perscriptions....You've lost that business as well. read more

This pharmacy is NOT recommended! They are slow and incompetent. They lose or miss-file prescriptions, are rude to customers on the phone and in person. They also are slow at retrieving much needed orders via fax or phone messages. You would think with how much money this company is making off the prescription/drug market they would train their staff better and develop a better system ! read more

While I generally like the staff here as well as selection, my recent experience left me irritated and angry. I requested my prescriptions from my PCP on a Monday, came in the next day to provide the pharmacy with a new insurance card and let them know I would like to pick up on Thursday. On Tuesday I was told that they were working on my Rxs, thanked for the update and told they would process everything for pick up on Thursday. Flash forward to Friday when I actually came in to pick up; the same woman who I spoke to on Tuesday rang me up to the tune of over $300 and asked for payment. When I asked her if they had billed my insurance she said to me that they had no updated insurance. I got a little short with her and told her that I had given her my information on Tuesday so I would not run into this problem! Sure enough the copy she took with her own hand writing was with the prescriptions and nothing had been done with it. She then proceeded to speak to me like I was the person who was the idiot. I then had to wait another 5-10 min while they reprocessed the prescriptions. The entire reason I went in on Tuesday was to save time later!!! Thanks Lori for being ineffective and irritating! This is not the first time I have had prescription issues here so I think this was the last straw. I will put up with paying a few cents more on average over rite aid as Bartell is a local company but they need to get it together in the pharmacy! BTW. I work in the medical field and patients frequently ask for pharmacy recommendations... read more

Simply put, slow, slow, and slow. Even though this pharmacy is the closest I go out of my way to go to other pharmacies. I get it, most pharmacies suck nowadays, but this one is set apart as a bit worse than average. read more

I prefer this Bartell's to any other pharmacy around. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful and the pharmacy staff ALWAYS goes the extra mile for me. I do not understand the negative comments posted by others as I have never experienced this and I have been shopping at this location since they opened over 20 years ago!! read more
