Pharmacy - often get grumpy or irritable staff. Thankfully, they've never messed up on an order. That's important. Thankfully they answer their phones! I'm very grateful for that. Thankfully they do what they're supposed to do and it's not their job I guess to provide customer service with a smile. But it would be nice since we come here so regularly for our sons medication's. The pharmacy is in chaos and it is apparent that there is lack of oversight. I get text messages to pick up meds that are not ready when I go to pick them up and to make the matter worse the lady who works the drive through window, raises her voice on me. I can totally understand they are being busy understaffed and mistakes happen, but I can't warm up to their selective treatment of their customers. Times have changed. This review is coming from a retired primary care Dr. (MD). DONT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! IT IS DANGEROUS TO GET YOUR MEDICATIONS FILLED HERE. LEAVE, IF YOUR ALREADY GOING THERE. If you have elderly family going there be very carefull if they stay. It doesn't matter to them if you have just had surgery or just got out of the hospital. They do not make any special effort, even if you've been going there for over a decade. The employees there don't care if you can get your meds or not. They always are getting new staff that aren't well trained, and they can't really help you. Its no wonder, I happen to know they only can pay their pharmacy assistants $17 something per hour, and if they get a raise, they might get an extra 15cents per hour. Wow. The employees will easily make a decision that negatively affects you without involving a supervisor or pharmacist. I came here for a vaccine shot and there's no signage on where you're supposed to check in. I waited for 30 minutes there were multiple people who actually talk to me and did not tell me I was supposed to check in after I told them I was waiting for the vaccine and 10 minutes later after my appointment I was told I needed to check in and it would be another 20 minutes. I understand places are short staffed but I was waiting with a baby and multiple people talk to me without telling me I was not doing the right thing. Terrible location go somewhere else read more

Pharmacy changes hours randomly and without notice. I came to the pharmacy to pick up my seizure meds to find out they had moved their closing time an hour back. I had called earlier to make sure my medications were filled and there had been no special notice that the hours were changed. After flagging down someone inside, they said their register was closed and they had put my medication back on the shelf anyway, despite me calling in earlier to specifically make sure it would be there. Going unmedicated tonight because I trusted this store and got burned. Wish me luck. This isn't even the first time the hours have arbitrarily been changed and I've found out because of a sign on the window. It's happened several times. Do not go here for passport photos! My passport was rejected. They were super nice, but I just got my passport application sent back. Go somewhere that cuts the photos and has adequate lighting and knows what they are doing. Please discontinue this service. read more

The pharmacists here are super gross in the way they treat people. Sent in a refill at 1pm, called in to make sure it would be ready by 7pm after I got off work, got there 15 min before close and they didn't have my prescription ready and then quite literally shut down in my face while I was trying to get someone to explain why they couldn't refill my medication. This is not the first time they've been nasty to me in a similar fashion. I have a medication I take daily and if I miss a dose it can cause side effects. I explained this on the phone and they assured me it would be ready by 7pm. Super rude and insensitive to firstly refuse to explain to me why they can't put 10 little pills in a bottle for me in 15 minutes, and then because I was upset they quite literally put their cardboard sign up in my face at the window. Incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. Don't choose a job in healthcare if you don't care about people. Another time I was there last month, and I pulled up to the window 15 min until close (I knew my prescriptions were ready) and the pharmacist waited until 5 min to close to even address me, then refused to let me pay for and take my medications. They said I should have come earlier in the day (I work) and I pointed out that I had been waiting at the window for 10 minutes. They weren't busy, just rude. read more

The stars are for good parking, a super nice cashier and no lines at checkout. There are no line's because this store is always empty. And they were out of cotton balls for crying out loud. The shelves are lacking with products that are commonly used, but boy oh joy, if you want a hot pink flower pot on a stick that lights up at night, this is your place. read more

Their pharmacy is terrible. They say they offer walk ins for shots (not Covid). I've been turned away 4 times over course of 2 weeks now. I called in advance for 5th time and was told no walk ins on weekends schedule an appt which is not avail for 2 more weeks and she hung up on me mid sentence. I get your busy but the communication is terrible. Update your policy to appt only if you can't handle walk ins. read more

This location is great! I have reviews for both the pharmacy and the store. I called to see if an item was in stock in the store and the guy put me on hold, found the item and placed it at the counter making it easy for me to come in and purchase. And the pharmacy is always great and informative. We use the txting option and drive through once a month to pick up my son's prescriptions and every time I have a question and call they are always quick and friendly to talk to. read more

Case in point: No one, not anyone likes filling a prescription. Thank gawd Rite Aid at Totem Lake gets it done AND they have a drive thru so you can chillax in your jammies without a bra on to pick up your scripts when you feel like hammered dog crap. You know that drill and you wish your pharmacy did such things. Perhaps it does, but not like mine. Mine does it right EVERY SINGLE TIME when filling a prescription AND they can text you when your order is complete, if you sign up for said service. (Two people you can DEFINITELY RELY ON? Anush and AJ. They are pharmacy technicians.) Here's why they don't get the five-star service. It's certainly not the pharmacy's fault. It's the damn front-end's fault. Could they possibly EVER open a second cashier? Apparently not. This results in pissed off customers and lackadaisical employees who seem to care not....uh....if they did, they would call for a second cashier...right?! Right. Yet, I do always find what I need and this Rite Aid is laid out nicely, is always well-stocked...the parking is great...but a pain in the azz to get in and out of. The female pharmacist (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) was so kind and calming - she helped me transfer my prescription from Walgreens and get it filled asap. I've been going to this pharmacy for many years. I've never had to wait too long for my prescriptions. It's not actually the staff but Rite Aid in general. They have a coupon on their website offering $25 wellness funds per prescription transfer up to $100 and it says it will take 1 business day to see the funds. Well it's been over a week for my daughter and 4 days for me and nothing, and the when contacting Rite Aid from their website, they are not making this right and getting this taken care of. False Advertising!!!!!!!! Don't believe their claim to give you the credits. Bartell Drugs gave my daughter a gift card at the time she picked up her prescription for the amount they offer for transferred prescriptions. read more

No wonder they are struggling to stay open.... walked in, place was really quiet at 4pm on a week day, which is a good thing if you do not like crowds. Parking just like their isles - very confusing glad it was not so busy otherwise it would be a big pain trying to get out of there. Prices are much higher than pretty much anywhere else, you get a little break if you have their membership card. after shopping for about 30 min I was ready to check out. Place was absolutely dead, but they still managed to make me wait for over 5 min. I was watching these two employees staring at a scotch tape thing trying to find the lost end. Not one during that time looked towards the registers (which they were in front of) to see if anyone was there. I was 10 feet away yet they supposedly did not see me. but they did look towards the door 3 times to see people leave. Finally this lady looks at me and says 'Can i help you?" in a very annoyed way. I say I'm ready to check out. she points toward the end of register, i go to supposedly wrong register and guy only says something after i put all my items on the counter one by one. Could have said something earlier... I've had enough, so I ask - "Does it really take two employees to figure out scotch tape?" so the i now get attitude from both of employees. At first I wanted to just pay and leave since i already spend over half an hour picking out my stuff, but after I heard that sealing some some box was more important to Rite Aid employees than taking my money I decided to leave and go to Walgreens. At wallgreens i got things for less money plus they had 3 registers open, i not only did not wait, but the cashier asked me how my day was going using my name. I later called rite aid and told the store manager what happened, to which she said 'she'll have a talk with those two employees' and that was it. Rite Aid saved the day! Called in to the Walgreens pharmacy on 85th in Kirkland on Sunday close to 6 pm to ask about a prescription for someone who was going through a medical emergency. They told me they would check and then kept me on hold for 10 minutes while the ill person I was with sat in pain and agony. The pharmacist ended up transferring me to another random department in Walgreens. The employee from another department had to verify with the pharmacist that they did not in fact have this medicine and could not order it either. We went to Rite Aid in Kirkland close to Fred Meyer and they called the doctor who prescribed the medicine, provided us with the equivalent of that medicine and patiently answered our questions. Rite Aid is the way to go for your pharmacy needs. Their customer service is superior and not to mention their hours are more flexible. Will not waste my time at Walgreens again. read more

I took my elderly mother to this Rite Aid store to look at walkers. We were helped by an employee who displayed professionalism and courtesy. They had no walkers on display. Nonetheless, the Rite Aid employee took the walker out of the box and the two of us assembled it so my mother could test the walker. It took about 15 minutes to assemble the walker. The Rite Aid employee then allowed my mother to walk around the store to test the walker. My mother liked the walker but wanted to look at some other walkers. I asked the Rite Aid employee to hold the walker for two days so my mother could look at other walkers. Rite Aid agreed. My mother then, within the two days, purchased a used walker. I then called Rite Aid and told the Rite Aid employee we would not be purchasing the walker. The employee showed no resentment and thanked me for reporting the walker no longer needed to be held. I am impressed with this store in that what mattered most to the Rite Aid employee was an appropriate walker for my elderly mother and not simply selling a walker. There was no pressure and total professionalism. I recommend this store. read more
