The go backs by the dressing rooms had spilled out into the plus size section with 4 large overflowing carts. I could not move them to browse through the racks. I was able to speak with a manager in another section but nothing was done during the time I was there. This is unfortunately a common problem at Target due to the location of Plus Size racks. And I would bet poor sales in that section are common due to the horrible shopping experience. Do better Target.

This West Salem Walgreens used to be a great store. It has really gone down hill. Went in to get a…read morepassport photo today. The clerk took my name and phone number. Went back in 5 hours later and one of the "managers" was there. No photo. The SD card isn't working, which he said has been a problem. He said he wasn't told anything when he came on shift about my photo. I asked if it would be policy for the clerk to call me and let me know it couldn't be done, so I'd know to go elsewhere. He just said, "yeah, she should have called." That's it. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't that relayed to all employees and consequently, to customers? Also, the store has been very dirty. I've asked when the janitor might be coming in. I was told they don't have one to do floors and someone on each shift is supposed to be cleaning them. Is everyone still using COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and lack of help?

My teen daughter dropped off a disposable camera for processing before the holidays with some…read morepictures with her best friend during her trip to Indiana last July. She was so excited to get them developed, so I went in with her and showed her how to order prints. When she picked them up, she was charged about $10 for processing and a cd. Sadly, the envelope included two dark blurry prints, the cd and a note that said the roll was exposed. She was extremely upset about her pictures not turning out and the added insult of having to pay for nothing. I took the envelope back to the store and talked to the manager, who went above and beyond to apologize and make things right. He said staff is supposed to check each order and call customers when things like that happen. He apologized profusely and promptly refunded the cost of developing and added points for our trouble to the new MyWalgreens rewards program. This is what customer service looks like to me!

She is always professional and pleasant and makes shopping twice as much fun. This location usually has ad items in stock whereas other Salem locations often don't even on day one of the ad so it is nice to be able to buy items on my list instead of driving to multiple locations. When calling in for assistance, I was on hold more than an hour before the call dropped TWICE. I went to the pharmacy. Then I waited in line for 30 -45 minutes, and then the pharmacy closed before I got to the window. This has been happening at this location for more than 6 months. It seems obvious that it is a staffing issue, hours cut drastically from 7 days a week, 9-9, to M-F 9-6. I can only blame corporate policy for the low staffing.

1 Star for Walmart, but 5 Stars for an Incredible Manager! I…read moream generally not a fan of Walmart, and the store itself earns a 1-star rating at best. However, I am leaving this review specifically to recognize the incredible manager who went above and beyond to help me. On Thursday, June 4th, around mid-morning, I went to this location to return a chair I ordered online from Walmart that ended up being too small for my daughter. At the customer service counter, the guy told me that they couldn't accept the return unless the chair was completely disassembled and boxed up. I laughed and told the guy.."your kidding, right?" The problem was, I had already tried to take it apart at home, but a dumb locking mechanism made it impossible for me to separate the pieces. The guy at the counter didn't laugh nor did he care about my problem. He told me to go speak with the manager, who happened to be nearby filling out paperwork at a register. I went over to talk to him and explained the situation, he didn't hesitate to help. He actually went to the back, grabbed a screwdriver, and personally went to work on the chair. Even for him, it wasn't easy. He had a tough time getting the mechanism to release, but he eventually got it apart. To top it off, he even helped me box the whole thing up. I thanked him over and over again. I didn't catch his name, but he is a truly great guy who deserves recognition. Give this man a raise, or better yet, someone offer him a better job. He has a level of dedication and work ethic that goes way beyond what you normally expect to find here! Thank you again Mr. Manager.
