Pickup lines have become noticeably longer as pharmacy technicians wait for customers to repeatedly enter information across multiple screens: first name, last name, birth month, birth day, and now even an additional screen to validate phone numbers and email addresses. I do not desire to scan a customer loyalty card. This violates my purchasing privacy. Despite the excessive inputs required, only one kiosk screen is available for use. This design flaw consistently results in lines 10-15 customers deep, while a technician stands by simply watching the slow process play out. This is an inefficient use of both technology and staff time. My recent experiences have made it clear that this system is hindering customer service rather than improving it. As a result, I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere.

Not only is is it pretty much worthless but it only benefits Drug Mart so they can track what you buy and market accordingly. Not worth the time to show your little card. There is an older store near me that just has the basic necessities like milk, bread, hot dogs, OJ, toothpaste etc. But on one trip I went to a new store it had a bakery, meat market, deli, and it was huge. If you didn't find it there, you don't need it. The staff in all their stores is pleasant and helpful.
