I've been going to this location for 8 years now and sure there can be glitches in the matrix as is normal for anywhere we go. However overall I've gotten the help and solutions I needed. Shocking how a little time, effort and patience can change the game. If you had a bad experience you too can try, try, try again. I believe in you. No idea about the front of house but I'm not here for that. The staff have been nothing but gracious, kind, and helpful for me etc. The updated app makes it even easier to get someone to talk to. There's a literal "message the pharmacy" option on the app. State your business and they call you back within an hour. Reach out, advocate for yourself, and don't depend on someone else to do it for you. I'm a talker (obviously) to close with; politeness, understanding and a little dose of "you're a person too" goes a long way. Might sound like I'm blaming others, maybe I am? I've had medical issues for more than half my life, elder millennial here, and have had more than one disappointing Dr. Atleast there's someone there for the annoying/frustrating reason I had to go there in the first place . Ugh, meh, rereading that sounds like a GD homemade lifetime movie that people only notice to judge (understandable) and complain about it. Sorry mom for being "that" person at the moment. I usually give people in customer service the benefit of the doubt -- this is actually the first…read morenegative review I've ever written -- but this experience was so astonishingly bad it deserves to be documented. The woman working at the pharmacy counter clearly has no grasp of basic courtesy, math, or professionalism. I went to pick up my prescription and was told it was $600. I clarified it was the non-generic version, and she snapped, "I've been doing this all week, it's $600," with the kind of tone that implies both irritation and superiority -- an impressive combination for someone who was clearly wrong. After I asked her to check again, she miraculously returned saying, "Oh, it's $100." Fascinating how prices drop fivefold when someone is forced to actually do their job. When I pointed out that the math made no sense (30 pills for $600 but 11 for $100), she gave me a nonsensical explanation that would embarrass anyone with basic reasoning skills. Then, when I went to pay with my HSA card, she instantly declared it declined -- cutting me off mid-sentence -- and couldn't be bothered to double-check anything. Her rudeness was only surpassed by her incompetence. After I told her her customer service was unacceptable, she actually said, "Maybe you just can't handle me." Ma'am, you dispense medication, not attitude. If you spent half as much energy doing your job as you do being defensive, the experience might have been tolerable. Another employee thankfully stepped in, processed everything correctly, and guess what? The card went through on the first try. Shocking, I know. This woman is a walking example of why some people should not work with the public -- especially in healthcare. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because no customer should have to deal with that level of arrogance and incompetence in a pharmacy.

I don't know what's worse: this CVS' parking or its pharmacy service…read more Look, we all know what a CVS is and we appreciate it. However, this place...The only thing going for it is the location (which can be an issue too if you are not a fan of university students being all over the place). This CVS had a glow up with it becoming a Health Hub so you can find a wide range of vitamins and medication although that sentiment can be hard to see what with the shelves being bare at times. The "Health Hub" aspect aside, the pharmacy is incredibly slow and wait times can be absurdly long. Moreover, the pharmacy will do things like not give you a full prescription or ignore a question. To be honest, the pharmacists are never the same at this location so if you have a question or want to build a rapport, good luck. Half the times I even see a pharmacist they are either overworked or hiding from customers. Also, if you do pick up medication from the pharmacy after waiting almost an hour in line, you likely will get a text or email that you have even more or the exact prescription you just picked up waiting for you. It's a mess and it ain't hot. 2 stars because location, location, location.

Cute gift ideas alongside all of the necessary meds/OTC options for fighting normal ailments. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. I don't realize it's attached to an indoor mini-plaza that has several other businesses too. So give it a thought if you're looking for a non-chain option for your next medicine and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised too.

Staff is rude and look right through you even though you may have been waiting a long time. Right now, they are apparently having technical difficulties. I've been holding for 55 minutes with a recorded message playing in a 10 second loop saying please wait. This store needs to close. It's a disgrace. I can't even get my prescription switched to a different pharmacy because there are no humans to take phone calls.

I stopped by today to pick it up and after standing in line to wait for my turn, I was told that it wasn't ready. This is not the first time they sat on a prescription and I only found out there was a problem when I arrived to pick it up. They asked me to wait while they prepared it, which I did. But 15 minutes later the prescription still wasn't ready. Instead, I got a lame excuse for why it still wasn't ready and I asked them to be transferred to another store. After wasting an 1 1/2 hours with CVS Ardmore, i spent another 45 minutes trying to reach the other store to confirm that they actually sent the prescription over and that they have the medication. Good thing I spent that time trying to reach the other pharmacy because Ardmore never sent the prescription them. They are still sitting on it. Their laziness and incompetence. literally interfering with my ability to get my medication. CVS is an abominable company. It would be horrible for any company to operate the way they do but especially considering that they are such a critical part of the healthcare system... supplying medication to people who need it, someone should shut them down. Before asking, I walked around a little and picked up a few products. I got some Gatorade for when I play some tennis soon and also picked up some water, which was on sale. They also had a variety of Hershey's products including their new promotion "Flavors of America." They sounded good so I picked up a Georgia Honey Roasted Peanut Reese's Cup! The store itself is fairly nice and new looking. It appears as if it was recently renovated. All of the items were nicely stocked and nothing was messy. At checkout, I asked about the solar eclipse glasses, but they were unfortunately not selling them. Though, the staff member working was surprised the store was not selling the glasses. Altogether, this is a nice Rite Aid to get all your basic needs!
