Welcome to my short story. I'm not sure what all these 1-starers/"wish there were 0 stars" people are all about. I've been going to this location for 8 years now and sure there can be glitches in the matrix as is normal for anywhere we go. However overall I've gotten the help and solutions I needed. Shocking how a little time, effort and patience can change the game. If you had a bad experience you too can try, try, try again. I believe in you. No idea about the front of house but I'm not here for that. The staff have been nothing but gracious, kind, and helpful for me etc. The updated app makes it even easier to get someone to talk to. There's a literal "message the pharmacy" option on the app. State your business and they call you back within an hour. Reach out, advocate for yourself, and don't depend on someone else to do it for you. I'm a talker (obviously) to close with; politeness, understanding and a little dose of "you're a person too" goes a long way. Might sound like I'm blaming others, maybe I am? I've had medical issues for more than half my life, elder millennial here, and have had more than one disappointing Dr. Atleast there's someone there for the annoying/frustrating reason I had to go there in the first place . Ugh, meh, rereading that sounds like a GD homemade lifetime movie that people only notice to judge (understandable) and complain about it. Sorry mom for being "that" person at the moment. I usually give people in customer service the benefit of the doubt -- this is actually the first negative review I've ever written -- but this experience was so astonishingly bad it deserves to be documented. The woman working at the pharmacy counter clearly has no grasp of basic courtesy, math, or professionalism. I went to pick up my prescription and was told it was $600. I clarified it was the non-generic version, and she snapped, "I've been doing this all week, it's $600," with the kind of tone that implies both irritation and superiority -- an impressive combination for someone who was clearly wrong. After I asked her to check again, she miraculously returned saying, "Oh, it's $100." Fascinating how prices drop fivefold when someone is forced to actually do their job. When I pointed out that the math made no sense (30 pills for $600 but 11 for $100), she gave me a nonsensical explanation that would embarrass anyone with basic reasoning skills. Then, when I went to pay with my HSA card, she instantly declared it declined -- cutting me off mid-sentence -- and couldn't be bothered to double-check anything. Her rudeness was only surpassed by her incompetence. After I told her her customer service was unacceptable, she actually said, "Maybe you just can't handle me." Ma'am, you dispense medication, not attitude. If you spent half as much energy doing your job as you do being defensive, the experience might have been tolerable. Another employee thankfully stepped in, processed everything correctly, and guess what? The card went through on the first try. Shocking, I know. This woman is a walking example of why some people should not work with the public -- especially in healthcare. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because no customer should have to deal with that level of arrogance and incompetence in a pharmacy. read more

They never fill prescriptions on time. I got a call at 9:20 AM saying my script was being worked on and would be ready soon. Showed up at 4:30 PM--still not ready. The first tech was polite and said to hold on. Then another woman came to the window, ignored me, and yelled to her coworker: "Does this patient know she needs to wait?" with a nasty attitude--then told me to go back in line. Waited another 15 minutes behind two cars, both of whom seemed to get their meds just fine. When I finally got back to the window and called out how poorly they manage things, I was told, "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." Well, unfortunately, CVS Caremark is my insurance, so I can't just go elsewhere. And honestly, that's the worst part--being stuck with this level of incompetence and disrespect. read more

Do not use this pharmacy! I wish I could give them negative stars. Not only was I hung up on trying to get my prescription filled, but I was told that I wasn't a priority and that I would have to wait over a month for my prescription, which was eligible for a refill. I was told by multiple pharmacy staff members that I was not a priority and hung up on! They will talk to you like you are a child. Again do not use this pharmacy. read more

STAY AWAY. I received the rudest return phone call from the female pharmacy went manager from CVS I have ever gotten from someone. I wish I could give her zero. They didn't bother to check whether my insurance covered the prescription and when I returned home and realized I had been over charged I call and left a message for a return phone call. Her reply was "WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?" Shad an attitude like no other than I had ever heard before. I had spoken to Steven in the store and not had any problems he was always pleasant but this was beyond. I made a return phone call and ask for a call back from someone other than her and received nothing. No call. I have been having problems that were continuing to get worse but this was over the top. I normally don't review but this needs to be stated. STAY AWAY. I initially went there for it being convenience. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to a completely different pharmacy that may be farther away but I won't have to deal with this. I wish I can give this store 0 stars. I was there on Saturday evening to pick up my pain medication. start off with the lady at the pharmacy drive thru chewing the gum while in service (not good cross contamination) then I suppose to pick up two medications one of them they still need to fill. I asked her politely to fill the second one because is still in process and we had conversations on the phone about both medications to make sure that I will pick it up. I even mentioned her about how long I have to drive to the store from my house (30 mins) and the answer that I got from her was.... oh we don't have the other medication in stock sorry (lie because we already discussed for two days about they will have them in stock) so I even asked her to check again because in the app they said still filling and I know they absolutely have them in stock i even show her the status on my phone. she still said it was not in stock. so I said please if you don't have them in stock just put on the app say no medication in stock so my DR can send the other prescriptions to somewhere else... of course she said yes. after that I contacted my Dr about the medication and she called the store and the answer was yes they do have this medication in stock and they will fill them now (in the same day)... So they don't really care about the customer service even lied about it. This is unacceptable dishonesty about it. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am switching all of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. CVS Conshohocken is overrun without enough staff, and now does not permit you to even speak with the pharmacy. It should not take days on end to get an answer about a prescription, let alone one filled that is in stock and a common medication. In addition, the store itself is always dirty and lacking inventory and lacks visible employees at the register for issues. I have often had to seek out someone or wait too long to get help. read more

I just can't with this pharmacy. I hate using mail order drug delivery sites but I am going to after dealing with this location. It's awful. The drive thru is closed most of the time. The rarely answer the phone. In side the line is ridiculously long. When you finally talk to a person in person or on phone they got to ask three other people for help. I try to keep my cool with people in retail but when I've talked to you multiple times on the same day you should have a clue by now at to what the situation is. This store is aweful and they could care less about the customer! I have lived here since before was opened. They have become worse and worse with service. I live within 2 minutes of the store and I would rather drive 10 minutes to the next store that has my needs. I prefer for someone to check me out rather than use self check out (I have my reasons ) they never want to help with that and my husband waited 15 minutes at the front of the store for someone so he could pick up my pictures and they didn't come. I had to go back up and waited several minutes as well. There should always be someone at the front of the store and there rarely is. This is nothing new and it's not a bad day , they always are this way. I will not go back here again and will be cancelling my membership (I pay 5.00 a month ) someone should pay attention to these reviews because clearly they aren't fixing things. read more

If you like being told a prescription is ready but then still having to wait 20 minutes AFTER they didn't have it in stock for 2 days, then boy do I have the pharmacy for you!! Honestly, your illness will likely resolve itself before you get your prescription from here. Thankfully I don't need prescriptions often, but when I do- they're never in stock. would give 0 stars if I could. Everyone who works at the pharmacy is slow and appears to be stupid. The tall white pharmacist is incredibly rude and unprofessional. He will shout about peoples medicine and dosage no matter who can hear. Today I heard him deny an old woman her medicine on her third attempt to get it. He had nothing to offer but to blame the doctor and once she walked away he began to curse and turned to his coworker to say "I'm gonna lose my ____ job today". One can only hope. I agree. Was on hold for 53 minutes- no one ever picked up. There's almost always a line anymore and almost every time I go they can't find my prescriptions for a while. I'm just waiting for my son to go off to college in August and I'm switching both of us somewhere else. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever encountered, anywhere, anytime. But first, in fairness, this is the fault of store management and frankly, CVS corporate "leadership." The pharmacy is a mess--cluttered, backlogged, disorganized, and always hours or days behind in filling scripts. But this isn't the pharmacy department's fault. The pharmacists, techs, and staff are actually very nice, and do their best, but the place is grossly understaffed and they are very overworked. My doc will, for example, send a script over electronically at 10 am, but it will still be "in progress" at 5 pm, merely because there are way too many prescriptions and far too few people to handle them. At the front of the store, you're pretty much on your own to use the self-service kiosks, because even if there are employees present, they simply refuse to go behind the counter and do their jobs, expecting customers to do it for them while they stand around. Can't tell you how often I've seen elderly people struggle with a self-service kiosk while the lazy CVS employee stands there playing on their phone. No manager in sight, and I'm not sure a manager exists. And the store is absolutely filthy--trash on floor, stained carpets, overflowing trash cans. It's really disgraceful; even my ENT, who lives in Conshohocken, won't go there and told me during a story about his nightmare experiences there as a customer. Karen S. Lynch, the President and Chief Executive Officer, CVS Health, should be ASHAMED. But I doubt she give a sh**; after all, she took home $21.3 million in total compensation in 2022. read more

I've been getting prescriptions here for years and it's been rough the past year or so. It seems like the last month or two that things are getting better. I went in for my prescription and was greeted by very nice cashiers and when I had a question the male pharmacist was very helpful! My prescriptions have also been ready on time the past two months so I'm happy to see improvements within the pharmacy! read more

What's worse than an awkward one-way u-shaped parking lot? Blocking the lot because you're waiting in a drive-thru line 7 cars deep. For half an hour. By the time I realized that the line wasn't moving, I was stuck with no way out of the line unless I wanted to risk hitting other cars. By the time I burned a sufficient amount of gas and arrived at the window to be apathetically addressed, I wasn't very happy. After spelling my easy-to-comprehend name out twice, my prescription was handed over without an apology, so I absolutely said, "Thank you for the apology for the long wait!" Sorry, but I'm no stranger to customer service jobs, and if you can't acknowledge inconveniencing someone, you deserve to be called out for it. This location needs to get their act together. Rude manager. I asked for help at self checkout and was given attitude for (what I thought) was a super easy fix.

Lazy employees. The store is always a mess. Sever incompetence. Every prescription I have brought in has had an issue. They never call me ahead of time to warm me or try to work out a solution prior to me showing up. The issue is usually a simple fix but they don't put forth the effort. So now it is another 30 minutes. The last problem was solved by Google. But the tech said "I don't have Google". The truth is they are not here to work. They are here to chat with each other. They don't take the time to learn their trade. I worked in a pharmacy before all the technology that does the work for you. Nothing took as long as this place. read more

On a recent business trip, I discovered I had left my prescription medicine at home. Not to worry. A quick check on Yelp and I found a CVS less than three miles away. They were able to refill my prescription and had me on my way in no time. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean store. Easy in and out and plenty of parking. read more

CVS pharmacy Fayette Street Conshohocken PA is horrible. Their prices are high even with using your medical insurance and a manufacturer discount cards. Their refrigerators are empty. They did not have milk for over a week. You repeatedly tell them to take you off automatic refill. They pester you all day via text message that your prescription is ready for pick up. Zero stars I went there to drop off my prescription. They told me to come back in an hour. I have a child with autism so I pick this specific CVS so that I could use the drive-through. They close the drive-through when I return because due to staff cuts, but the drive-through is not supposed to be closed until 9 o'clock, which I have reported to corporate And to make it even worse one of the staff there, Kevin I stepped into the store for one minute I get called back because I left my child sitting in my car for one minute so I could pick up my prescription. I needed a prescription a month ago. I usually get a 90 day supply. I was told they didn't have it. To make a long story short they had a months supply. Never lifted a finger to help me get the med. it's a month later. I have 3 days of medication. Can't get these people on the phone. I go in person and find a note that they are on a lunch break. There are multiple people at computers. I tell them that I need info about my medication. The very rude pharmacist states that she can't answer answer this question until 2 pm. Can't get them on the phone have to be sure not to annoy them with questions on the 30 min break even though they are not having a break. So I called Rite Aid to have my rx transferred. Rite aid called me to tell me that no one will answer the phone at the pharmacy!!!!!! Great job incompetent CVS staff! read more

This is the world's worst pharmacy. There is ALWAYS a line at both the pharmacy or the front registers. It's awful you sit and watch staff members socializing or in cell phones while you standing in a line 5-6 people deep! It's so unnecessary! As far as the pharmacy is concerned they are downright dangerously negligent. They gave me the wrong medication!!! I only noticed it when I opened the pills when I got home and realized that my medication didn't look like that! Scary. When I called they fixed it but no apologies, no explanation. This CVS houses the worst pharmacy I have ever been to, hands down. I've never experienced such a lack of customer service at a pharmacy before. They are consistently understaffed and there is always a wait for the pharmacy counter. Once you're actually up at the counter (and I've been there at least a dozen times, so it wasn't just a fluke), they act like they're completely unaware of your presence. They saunter around without reassuring you they've seen you or acting any sort of helpful. Every time my doctor, vet, or I have called in, they do not pickup, and do not return voicemails. I've been told multiple times my medications would be ready within a day or two, and have gone in only to have them shrug their shoulders and act like they didn't know. After returning FOUR times already to pickup one medication, I had to pressure the pharma tech to get it done that visit. I am done with this place's terrible speed and customer service. For the volume they must do, I can't believe no one has stepped in yet. read more

CVS is what it is. Convenience store and pharmacy rolled into one-- good location for sure and a pretty typical layout inside. The cashiers can get a little backed up, for sure, and there's no defined "lines" just a kind of crowd near the registers. But they always ring you up with a smile. The parking lot has one way traffic, so make sure you follow the arrows. Also, when exiting, just go out the back, especially if you're trying to get to the river, because making a left onto Fayette is coronary-inducing. read more

This is a review for the pharmacy staff only. These are the rudest employees I have ever encountered. I waited to drop off a prescription the other day for over 20 minutes to finally give up and leave. During those 20 minutes multiple employees made eye contact with me and instead of coming over to help they continued to stand in the back talking about what kind of six packs they prefer to buy. I am happy to say I will never wait in this line ever again. I ended up going to Target where they put me in their system, filled my prescription and charged me less then I normally pay at CVS... all within 15 minutes. read more

I'm surprised people don't take pilgrimages to CVS. Holy spectacular joy! Makeup, toiletries, household cleaning products, food, more food, pharmacy, area to develop film, cards, random stuff, toys, school supplies, CLOTHES (like the coolest mustard yellow hoodie ever, but it was in XXL...sad face). It's like Walgreens, Rite Aid, and Longs all had an orgy and made a baby. A beautiful baby filled with many surprises. A girl (or boy) could entertain themselves in here for days. Just don't look suspicious or they make kick you out. And if you have a CVS card you get special discounts and coupons. Another thing I wish I had back home. Very cool! read more

The front end checkout staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Every time I've had issues with my CVS app, the employees have been so helpful. The store has really nice inventory and I use it as a mini grocery store when I don't feel like going to the actually grocery store. Parking is always available. The store is clean and safe. I don't use their pharmacy, so I can't comment on it. read more

I would rather blow a dead cat than ever go back here. I told them I was going on vacation and needed full Rx. So they had to order more, no problem. Well except for the 60 minutes it took to ascertain that. But hey stuff happens. So I called over 3x today to discuss when I should grab. So finally at 3pm he says we are working on it now. Told them i would head over. I sat there for 25 minutes waiting. Then finally a kid comes over and says "yeah we don't have that in stock we have to order more." CVS in Conshohocken is a great store always clean and stocked. Sometimes the line may be a little long but that's ok with me. I always see this one young lady who works there I believe her name is Jill. She is always super helpful and always smiling, she even helped me carry 2 cases of water to my car without me having to ask. The pharmacy always has my prescriptions ready on time and they also send me a text when my medications are due to be filled. I have had nothing but good experiences here!! read more
