The wait for Rx is way too long here, plus only one clerk doing drive through and walk up job. And there not busy

I really like this Rite Aid, they have a very good selection of perfume, makeup, and even some high end items. I usually go around four times a month and every time they have many nice people working that are very helpfull. They can be pricey but, if you get the coupons in your local newspaper or in their ad you can get very good deals. They remodeled a while ago and now it is way more organized and it is just better. Before they remodeled they had sideways aisles and the set up was wierd. I like the new set up way more and if they hadn't have remodeled it I wouldn't have wrote good stuff. read more

The cashier JD is extremely rude and unwelcoming. I was having credit card problems because my chip was broken but the swiper works fine and I tried to explain that it just needs to be inserted a few times and then it will say to swipe it. They completely ignored me and said its not going to work. Very upset with their customer service. read more

I called at 1 to have my prescription refilled, was told it be ready in an hour, it's 330 and not ready! I live 30 minutes away! Not acceptable! read more

I don't know what has happened but the Pharmacy has become totally unreliable. Twice now medications were not filled. Once from a MD calling it in and once from doing a refill over the phone. Today's reply was we don't know what happened. The common thread is both times the pharmacy tech stated there's not a pharmacist on duty. One will be in today. Luckily my meds weren't needed urgently. I strongly suggest going else where for pharmacy services. Can't imagine if I really needed a medication. Other choices in Alpine to go to a pharmacist and will exercise that right from now on.. read more

I stop by this pharmacy every Thursday since I drive from la mesa to work in alpine.I have never seen such nasty customer service in my life theres one older lady there who works the cashier all the time she has the worst attitude in the world . She's so rude I promise myself I wouldnt never purchase anything from their again. As I was checking out I didnt have my saving card from rite aid and my phone number didn't work so I asked her if I can sign up for another card and she refused to let me get another card and didn't even allow me to get the sale price that day! Second time theres no one in the cashier so I approach her to ask her if she can ring me up as she was fixing the shelfs well she said "WAIT" and didn't get anyone to help and continue her job, I just left my iteams and walked away! So now I am goinf to CVS where the lady who is always there even greets me at the door what a difference! read more

This is The Worst pharmacy Ever!! They are rude, unhelpful and condescending!! They make you wait at least 10 minutes before acknowledging your presence. We will be taking our business back to where we are treated with dignity and respect, the way people should be treated. Sadly, after reading the other reviews, it made me feel better that I am not the only one. My husband is furious over their treatment of himself and I for one have had IT! ! Bye!! read more

if i could jump over the counter and just give these gals from the pharmacy a big hug, i would love that. these gals have gone threw so much from what ive seen. they deal with all sorts of folks. they do the best they can and more. i just love them. oh i read that the out side of the store has had a lot of litter. can you imagine if they shut down to clean every time someone throws trash. i just love my gals. mary flood read more

WORST Pharmacy! They never ever ever have prescriptions ready and I'm talking hours & even days after it's been called in. Time and time again of coming to pick up medication and it's never ready, or half the time they are asking me what it was. I am done with them. I even came to pick up and was just handed the prescription as she told me "sorry I don't have the paperwork part". I've even recently been giving my prescription to me in brown paper bags? What's going on here? Avoid coming to this location!!! CVS across the street on the other hand, ALWAYS has prescriptions ready in a timely manner. read more

Love this Rite Aid, they always greet me with a positive attitude and the store is kept very clean. Great customer service, they always have what I'm looking for and if they don't, they are willing to help me find it. Not to mention they have great deals on candy and ice cream if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth! read more

My family and I have been coming to this pharmacy for years. However, in the last 5 years this place has become extremely unpleasant each time we visit. One example... I had bronchitis, went to the doctor, the doctor gave me a prescription for cough syrup and had it called in to Rite Aid after I left my appointment. Typically prescriptions are done within an hour if they are experiencing a large volume of cutomers (places get busy, I understand). However, when I came to pick it up after work...5 hours later, there was NOTHING FILLED, nor did they even give me a call. When I came to the store after work the staff told me that it was "out of stock" and that they could not fill it that day. Never once did I get a call within that 5 hour period to let me know that it was out of stock, nor did they offer me to get it transferred somewhere else. I could have easily taken it to another pharmacy to get it filled within 15-30 minutes (like CVS). Once they told me it was out of stock they said their distributor was going to come in a couple days later (that friday at 6pm), and that I could come pick up my prescription at that time. Turns out that their distributor did not deliver that day, or so they said, and I had yet to receive my prescription for the second time even though they told me that it was going to be there! DONT MAKE PROMISES YOU CAN'T KEEP!!! In addition to this nightmare, the staff does not welcome customers at the counter, they are extremely rude, and not helpful!!! Management needs to take a look at their employee's attitudes. read more

I walked into the Alpine location at 9:06 pm to get a prescription filled for my son after we had just got released from urgent care. When I walked up the woman didn't aknowledge me just rudely said "it will be a minute". After waiting 6 minutes for her to finish her phone call she approached me. I handed my prescription to her and she said " I don't think we can do this tonight" and walks off before I can even respond. She takes it to another woman and she starts shaking her head and talking low between each other. I yell "please my son is only 1 and is screaming in pain from his ear infection" the pharmacist doesn't even cast her eyes my way. The other lady walks back over and says it's going to be 45 minutes because she's doing inventory and we close at 10. At 10!!!! If your pharmacy is open until 10 then you should fill emergency prescriptions until closing. I was treated with such a lack of empathy and disregard for my situation, it's absolutely appalling! read more

Would give zero stars but...Don't fill your prescriptions here! None of them! Every single member in my immediate family has been hassled, demeaned, disrespected here, including my deceased father. Not kidding, absolutely worst pharmacy ever. It's one pharmacist and her glorified cashiers that have refused to fill/or made it extremely difficult to fill ibuprofen, thyroid medication, pain medication, anxiety medication, and blood pressure medication! Normal, upstanding citizens with valid prescriptions are being treated so poorly, not acceptable. Lies, additional wait time for disgruntled customers, condescending and loud remarks to customers, told to pick up at drive thru b/c want to berate over intercom (no joke) so they can have a one sided discussion with you. I was told that DEA has fined this particular pharmacy for filling illegal prescriptions...by the pharmacist lol, wth? So, I guess they turn away legitimate prescriptions so they can fill illegal ones? Go to CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, wherever, just don't go to Alpine Rite Aid. My husband said it best, "it's like they are pretending to be a pharmacy." read more
