The donuts are so good, that before our ending of business trip, we had to swing by another location of this donuts shop. The original glaze donuts and chocolate bar was great, the Jalapeño Cheese Kolache was so good and we killed both instantly. We will be back! read more

This was my first time here and the line in the drive thru was so long on a Saturday! We decided to go inside and order. They have a nice seating area and the employees were all very friendly. It was 11am and they had already run out of a lot of their donuts. I decided to go with the blueberry donut. It was amazing!! My friend tried their kolaches and maple donut. They also have burritos here. Overall, I loved the donuts here and will definitely be back to try their breakfast burritos!! read more

My husband and I love this place, their donuts and burritos are awesome. But today, we did not have a good experience. The woman working the window was incredible rude. When I asked for a Kolache she asked me "what size? Regular or jumbo" and when I said regular she immediately said "oh we don't have that size". So why did she even ask me what size I wanted? And while we were waiting for her to get something for us a guy driving past tried to let us know our tire was flat and she got mad that we weren't talking to her. When we apologized she said "are you going to talk to them or me?" With a tone. I probably won't go back to this location due to her poor attitude. She was an awful experience. read more

I'm still a big fan on Rise 'n' Shine donuts but the service seems to have gotten slower recently. They rearranged the counter and shelving on the inside and I think it works better but they compensated a more efficient design with moving slower. If you are in the area, they are still best choice for donuts, just try not to be in a huge hurry. read more

This is the worst rise and shine in Lubbock. I arrived within the allotted time for breakfast burritos but the machines where down for repair. When I mildly expressed my discontent the manager flew off the handle and very rudely suggested that I go elsewhere for breakfast. Where's the empathy? Where's the excellent customer customer service I've become accustomed to at their 4th and Frankford location? Not here at 8001 Quaker. That, I can assure you. The owner was present but didn't speak a lick of English and couldn't grasp what was going on when I explained it to him. I read the other reviews and one sounds too good and the other sounds like a hater. The truth from a real customer is these donuts are very good. The only better is a hot fresh Krispy cream when the lights on. These donuts are sometimes hot but always very good. I've never had a problem with how long it takes to check out even when their busy. I've been here many times and its the only place I buy donuts and kolaches ever. They are not always open at 5:30. I'm a new customer for about three weeks. Been going there about every two to three days. Once a week I would show up at 5:30 with no one there. Would wait for about 15 minutes with no one showing up or opening the door. I'm not going to waste any more time or money(gas) going to this place again. Lubbock is a big town and there are plenty of places that you and I can go to and they will open at the time they have posted on their door. read more

Sometimes you wonder if the owners are writing the first reviews. The donuts here never seem to be fresh. Always cold and have the consistency of a old donut. I don't know where to recommend in lubbock for a good non Krispy Kreme donut, but this is not it. I wonder if this business has new owners. The workers have sure changed. read more
