They have a few tables inside and outside, we sat inside. There was one individual working for orders and they were a delight. Very friendly and patient as we weren't sure what to get. Coffee was tasty, and we went with the southwestern omelet, French toast, 1 blueberry pancake and breakfast plate with ham. Highly recommended to order the hash browns well done (1 plate and 1 did not) and wished I had done the well done ones. Next time. The food was great and everything came out hot. As they are a make to order kitchen, patience is key for greatness. We also ordered a few of the fried pies to go....so the verdict is still out on those. I doubt they won't be delicious based on the meal. Great place to checkout if in the area.

For anyone wondering what I was wondering: - you do not order at the counter and then sit down. You choose a table and have a waitress. Ours was attentive and friendly. - don't go here if you just want something light. Most items are heavy. There is a fruit parfait option, but it was 12 dollars. - if you're debating getting the biscuits or the blueberry pancake, absolutely get the pancake. It was HUGE and delicious. - Don't bother paying extra and getting meat. Neither the ham nor bacon were very good. - sit inside if you can. The front patio is okay, but is surrounded by the pothole filled parking lot, backs of buildings, and an employment service business. - I was hoping to grab a slice of apple bread or an apple item, but the bakery cabinet was extremely limited and needed to be restocked.

Overall Experience Came here with my girlfriend thinking…read morethis would be more of a specialty matcha spot. Overall it was an okay experience, just not what I expected. Drinks and Matcha This place feels more like a Starbucks than a true matcha café. The drinks they advertise are kind of strange, and they do not really highlight matcha. They mostly categorize it as green tea, which I think makes it difficult for people who are really into matcha. I tried the matcha and the café latte. Both were alright. Not the best I have had, but not bad either. Food I had the beef bulgogi burrito for breakfast. It was good, but smaller than what the photos on the menu showed, which felt falsely advertised. Service and Atmosphere Service was great. The girl handling my order was very friendly. Decent sized coffee shop inside a shopping outlet, and there were a lot of families when I went. I would recommend it as a quick stop if you want coffee, but not for someone who is really into matcha.

I decided to eat a good breakfast while getting some major admin work done and went to Chicken Run. I ordered the Hiker's Benedict since I was specifically craving Eggs Benedict. But being neurosparkly has its challenges that show up in the weirdest ways. While I have a very open palate and can be a total foodie, I can get very weirded out by textures. So when my meal came with all of the toppings chopped up into small cubes, I simply couldn't enjoy it. The waitress asked about it, and I told her it's my own weirdness and not to worry about it. They still took the meal off even though I fully planned to pay. I don't share this so that people will abuse their kindness, but so that people will know that this is a business with heart. At a time when I'm feeling like especially sensitive about being too much, this little thing meant so much to me. I will absolutely return here. Thank you, Chicken Run - Lubbock. Your compassion matters.

We popped into Nashville Cafe downtown and it immediately felt like one of those hidden little gems…read moreyou're glad you stumbled into. The space itself is adorable--think industrial loft vibes with exposed brick, warm wood accents, and that cozy, slightly artsy feel you get from an old brick building repurposed just right. It's the kind of place that feels calm and intimate, especially tucked into a quieter downtown pocket that gives off small-city charm in the best way. I ordered a loose-leaf green tea (I won't even attempt to pronounce the name), brewed French-press style, and it was so good--earthy, smooth, and surprisingly reminiscent of crispy rice mixed with green tea. Warm, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. My husband went with an Americano, which was solid and well-balanced. They do offer food and small bites, but what really stood out was how community-forward the space feels. There's local artwork displayed throughout the café, all available for purchase, along with curated retail items like tallow products, cool tees, and other thoughtful little finds you don't usually see in a coffee shop. Between the cozy industrial atmosphere, quality drinks, and strong support of local artists and makers, Nashville Cafe feels less like a quick coffee stop and more like a place you actually want to linger. A really sweet spot downtown--quiet, creative, and full of character.

I ordered the ham sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, sauce, ham, and cheddar. It's very simple and the amount of meat was just perfect (I am not a fan of sandwiches whose meat is thicker than the bread.) It felt like I was eating "good old time" sandwich. The toasted bread was crispy outside and soft inside. The quality of ham is very good, too. It's juicy and not too salty.
