This could not have been a better experience. Lee came out to give me a quote for the many repairs and upgrades I needed. Not only was he completely transparent with pricing, he also broke the quote down for me so I would have options on fixing what I could afford upfront. Tommy and William came out only 2 days later to tackle the job. They arrived first thing in the morning, right when they said they'd be here, and got to work. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond. When I ran into some unexpected issues with my well and had to call a plumber, they even helped out with that issue just to make sure I had everything I needed before they left. They kept in communication with me about what they were doing, and any unexpected issues that came up, and made sure they weren't doing anything without first making sure I was on board. At the end of the day, my house is up to code, all the outlets that were not working are fixed, my light fixtures and bathroom exhaust fans are all installed beautifully, and every other project I had for them has been completed. I'm an Interior Designer and came to Charlotte to install my clients house. He's really big I. Technology and loves his "toys" - mainly his sound system. Well, Geek Squad came to install his sound system and gave nothing but bad news after bad news - insisting that I work with the previous owners big mistakes. I've got a laundry room renovation I'm doing as a surprise while my wife is out of town. It required our washer and dryer electrical connections to be moved to a new wall, as well as a new exterior outlet to power a tankless water heater on the side of the house. While none of those tasks are odd, there were some obstacles. Additionally, I didn't have a lot of advance notice to where I could get a lot of different quotes. Rise Electrical Service was suggested through my plumbing contact and not only where they able to make it out on fairly short notice but they were able to give me a thorough consultation and quote, finish the work, and do so while working around and with the plumbing team here doing their thing. Tommy was my electrician and did great work. He was consultative and not pushy, checked in with me anytime anything came up that could go more than one way so that I could choose based on his recommendations, and was thoughtful about the mess that comes along with the work, doing his best to make it look as good as it was when he arrived. Had problems with dining room and kitchen light switches and outlet on same circuit. Also problem with a closet light not working. Got the quote to replace closet light and he started working immediately. I had installed three Amazon Basic switches for the kitchen and dining room lights so I took the covers off and Tommy V checked and fixed all connections. Professional, personal, efficient. Explained everything that he would do/check. I answered all my questions, and gave us a reduced rate because it didn't take as much time as originally anticipated.
