I'm not too big on reviews but I felt the need to post this one because I've NEVER met a company like this before. They really do live up to their name and reputation. I called Honesty electric at 1:50am and got a call right back. I spoke with Luis for almost an hour about the issue I was having with the units at my apartment complex. We have (89) units that needed to be inspected and brought up to current code. Needless to say this was a HUGE and extremely time consuming project. Luis was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely patient with me and answered at least a million questions lol. He got me scheduled the same week, came out back to back five days in a row and this was simply to look at the units. No work was even being done at the time, this was a simple estimate that was completely free and took an entire week to complete. I don't know any other company that would come out to a project five days in a row for an entire 8 hour day to look at (89) individual units and provide a quote for each unit all for FREE. Luis and his entire team took so much time to assist me with my long overdue project, everyone was so kind, patient, respectful and professional to work with. Luis was extremely knowledgeable and it was truly just a pleasure to hear him speak and educate us on the National Electrical Code. Needless to say of course we gave Honesty Electric the job because they already earned my business the very first night that Luis stayed on the phone with me until almost 2:45am answering all my questions and putting me at ease about my situation. That's the type of company I want to work with. A company who's not all about the money but more about the safety of the customers and the quality of work. This project was not a project that could be done overnight. It took about three months from start to finish. The estimate alone took nearly a week, the quote for the project took about two weeks to get back and it was the most detailed quote I ever seen. The price was extremely affordable and they truly did go above and beyond to help me get my units up to code. The project passed all phases of inspections and I couldn't be any happier. Honesty Electric is now my forever electrical company. I trust them 100%. This review was absolutely necessary and the experience was worth every minute of my time and every dime that we paid. I even tried to tip his employees for the great work that was done and each & every one of them said "no ma'am we don't accept tips" I later found out from the office admin (she was so sweet and funny) that the guys can absolutely take tips from customers if they want to but the fact that all six men choose not to accept any tips speaks even more volumes about this company and they're staff. Luis and his team were amazing! Professional, kind, ethical and a delight to work with. He responded in a timely manner to our call. We had a detailed phone conversation in advance of his visit to give us our estimate. His estimate was very thorough and fair. He and his team worked quickly to get our job completed. We had an unusual situation with a 100+ year-old home converting to a business. Luis gave thoughtful and professional consideration to what we would need for security, safety and permits. We came up with a plan and his team was phenomenal. We had everything done in one full day. They were professional, clean, kind and thorough. I had a tree fall on my power line and called / left messages for about 12 electricians. One of the calls was to Honesty Electric however I didn't feel like leaving yet another message so I hung up. Luis called back regarding the missed call, asked what problem I was having, requested pictures and said he would text a quote. After agreeing to the quote, he sent two of his team out within what seemed like minutes. Even though the work was more intensive than the pictures showed he honored his quote. Very happy with the service we got. Upgraded our service to 200 amp for a very reasonable rate. Also added a dedicated circuit for our hot tub. They were very patient as we called to complain about what we that was a water leak out back. They came out twice and proved to us it was just the tree roots leaking lots of water. They could have blown us off the second time but took the time to come out dig the line back out and show us the water leaching out of the root. Honest Electric has become my go to electrician! I originally called them to replace a ceiling fan in my family room which is 22 ft high. Louis was able to troubleshoot the problem and I didn't need to replace the fan. On Tuesday I had them replace the lights in my garage with LEDs - this was an all day job.
