After getting my estimates I decided on Ambrose Electric because I read the reviews, got immediate responses back and forth, asked tons of questions, got a copy of certificate and I have to say it was well worth it! Bill is an amazing hard worker, knows what he's doing, fair, ask questions, makes sure he's following what you desire, yet gives his opinion when needed. We had a Phase 1 and a Phase 2 and are completely satisfied with the beautiful work that was done here. Bill is very pleasant to work with! This review is long overdue- Bill was AMAZING. I recently moved to Charlotte and purchased a home. I did a bunch of research into other companies and am extremely happy that I chose Ambrose Electric. Bill was easy to get in touch with, provided an estimate (very reasonable prices) ahead of time and even had suggestions for better lighting, etc. He was extremely easy to book an appointment time, arrived on time and did a great job. I was amazed that we could get someone to come out on an urgent basis to address mounting problems we had been having with home smoke detectors that we knew were outdated. I had an issue with a power outage in one area of my home. Bill quickly pinpointed the issue and explained what needed to be done to resolve the problem. He made additional recommendations, so not only was the issue fixed , but he also made some needed upgrades to my light switches during this initial visit. Bill did a wonderful job! We had a new light fixture installed (moved the location of the fixture too). Bill said he thought he would have to cut into some drywall to move it, but ended up not needing to and left everything looking really beautiful! Also installed a new outlet for us. William was great! Took about 4 hours total to put up 2 ceiling fans. One was difficult because of our ceiling pitch above the attic space he had to work in. He brought in an associate to help him and they got it done. They put the fans together, hung them, and clean up after themselves! read more
