We rolled our windows up, opened the interior sun roof, and got ready to experience the rainbow soap magic. Most car washes give me anxiety because I never know exactly what I need to do but this place was really straightforward. A man motioned for us to pull in, let us know to put the car in neutral, and we were done with the whole experience in less than five minutes. $11 is the highest package and I feel like it was worth it. We liked that the attendant hand washed the car in the beginning. Another plus was that the car dried shockingly well. I usually have left over water droplets that I would need to handle on my own but there was no need in this situation. If you're looking for a quick, efficient, and convenient exterior car wash this is the place to stop. They do everything they promise and nothing that they don't. I'm not going to say it was an out of body experience, but it was exactly what I expect out of a small town car wash.

The attendant sprayed the front of the truck pretty well as well as the driver front tire. The wash pulled me through it pretty quickly. Once out, I turned and stopped in their lot to adjust my mirrors and do a walk around. The truck was pretty shiny and still pretty wet, so it was t easy to tell how good the wash was. I drove a mile down Broadway to get gas. While fueling, I did another walk around. The truck had dried from the short drive. I noticed my tires were still really dirty, as were my rims and the top of my back bumper. The driver front tire that the attendant had sprayed prior to washing was pretty good. I feel it would have been best for the attendant to pretreat all 4 sides and wheels/tires to assure a great outcome.

I would summarize my experience at Flex Car Wash as "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Fool me twice will not happen, because I'll never use Flex Car Wash again. If you're a true Cheesehead, you call this a TYME machine.) This store is remarkably large with a larger selection of hot foods and groceries than most KTs. There is a huge, walk-in beer cooler and a selection of wines near the TYME...er...ATM machines. Almost all KT stores are laid out with a similar floor plan, there are a few different floor plans depending on the footprint of the store and when it was built. Some are mirror images of one another, which I refer to as left hand stores and right hand stores, depending on which way you turn to approach the cash registers. When you go into the store, you'll get that feeling of Deja vu, which is exactly what the owners want you to feel. This store is newer so it uses the newer floor plan and it's left handed. Karuba Coffee, Dunkers, doughnuts, and hot foods are straight back. Rest rooms are on the far end, take a right at the cooler. Lottery forms are back there, too, for processing at the registers. The no-fee ATMs are to your right as you enter the store. Outside? You'll find Unleaded regular and premium, Unleaded 88, E-85, and winterized diesel #2 and a 24 hour car wash.

I've always been SUPER happy with the meat especially, and have gotten a few of my friends turned on to going to pick up the steaks, meat, produce regularly as well for the value, price, ease. However, tonight, I'd picked up what I thought a typical package of sirloin steak, (like I've now been doing since the place opened, and they were ALWAYS outstanding), but upon getting home, I discovered under the label, it was actually 3 small strips of "steak" (trimmings) which in themselves, required handtrimming to remove the excess fat and grizzly stuff. After being a HUGE fan of their burgers in the beginning, I stopped buying once they turned into "angus chips smothered in bun", bought the pizza, until all they served the "chicken carbanaro", bought the cheesy stuffed breadsticks until they raised the price and made them smaller, less cheese. I drove 30+ minutes to get there only to be greeted by a "Car wash Closed" sign. So, I called and Rod answered. He told me the car wash is closed due to bad weather. It's not even sprinkling out. It's barely "misting". I explained that I had just driven 30+ minutes and everywhere online still says they are "open" and nowhere on their site did it say they close whenever it's even misting outside. He didn't care one bit. I would have been frustrated, but would have taken it a little easier if his attitude was better. He didn't apologize, he had a "yep, we're closed, deal with it" attitude. Then he hung up on me. I called back and told him I didn't appreciate getting hung up on, and he continued with his attitude and kept repeating in a monotone/condescending voice, "how can I help you, sir?". I will be contacting the owners to get a refund on these prepaid washes. What good are they if you can't use them? If they don't refund me, I'll have to submit a chargeback on my credit card. Unless they make things right with me, I will not be going back. I get home 25 minutes away, open the hatch and the back wasn't even vacuumed, back seat wasn't wiped down. I can be understanding if it was real busy but it wasn't. That means that the people who checked me in and are supposed to do the vacuuming and the people who dry the car and wash the interior windows missed it too. When you pay over $30 for a wash you expect better and I should be able to have confidence it would be done correctly. Almost all the workers were kids maybe there needs to be more supervision. Maybe I'll have to start going to PDQ.
