We been coming here for about five years. Other than machine all must always out of order, pretty decent place. Over the last couple of years something has changed. Half the time we get here at opening there not here. Usually only ten or so minutes. Today they open at 9 am, it forty five minutes after and still no one. I found this laundromat by chance and I couldn't be happier. It is clean inside and in the parking lot, it is air-conditioned, it has working machines (not one out of order sign), a friendly worker that greeted me with a smile, and the machines accept credit cards, so you don't have to find all of your change. Beside the laundry is a touch free car wash with multiple vacuum stations. So I can get laundry and my car washed at the same time. This is definitely a high recommendation, for your regular laundry needs or the mega loads. read more

Past visits never grabbed my attention to think about a review of this place. Every car wash in the vicinity I've been to did get some words. Today I'm driving my wife's 2021 Subaru Forester, a nice ride. She's terrible about giving her car a bath for unknown/unacceptable reasons, I think I can safely say she's only had it washed once, and that was because it got damaged and the body shop washed it. I know I've refilled and bathed it probably 4 previous times, and today is the fifth. It isn't ever dirty, though it's white and strangely white cars don't show dirt like anything else white. Black, that needs washing every other day. So I don't think I'd own a black car. At any rate I am writing today to ideally get the owners attention to have the cash machine (car wash) get whatever isn't quite right, fixed. I purchased the so called premium package, the one that costs $14. I pulled into the entrance at the payment station just as the car already inside was having its cycle begin. At this time I made note to watch my clock (primarily because I had to be somewhere immediately following this) and I noted the time. As I waited for that cars exit as it crept through the air dry, I noted my car triggered the first spray nozzles begin the sweep of my front wheels. I can only presume the previous car purchased a wash cycle same as mine because his was the very nearly the same 3ish minutes, though the first stage had completed before I actually arrived. What did draw my eyes was the rinse cycle sign had changed to wax, and the entire drivers side of windshield and drivers door still had soap bubbles, the rinse began front left and did a counterclockwise run. So now the colorful (mostly entertaining LEDs) wax cycle is spaying in the same CCW program over soapy bubbles. Next was the finish rinse, with some other car wash jargon proclaiming it's superior inference psychological wording to WOW the sheeple who want shiny protection for our cars! Finally I'm at the blowjob part of the happy ending. This is the part where I drive as slowly as possible to assure the most bang for my buck. I want the water drops to be whisked away by a severely profound blower so my glass is clear enough to see my kids fingerprints on the inside, and all the bird/bugshit NO LONGER on the outside! Same for the hood. Instead I am only halfway receiving the happy ending I paid $14 US to be smiling about. As I drove out, the hood is still sporting hundreds of water balls as the sun beats down on them intent on drying them into numerous little spots. As I increase my speed to get an assist from the winds in hopes it will force them towards the trailing edge where they will fall helplessly into oblivion and out of my line of site. This is a 35 mph zone and I only have about 2 tenths of a mile to do what a Tesla effortlessly can do, hit Mach 2 inside a city block. No can do. This is a Subaru, aka 'gina car, no 'nads. So I had to slow down well before I was actually going fast. I considered a quick rush on the nearby freeway, but that would assure me of bugs which I just had removed. So in summary: The car is spotless. Except it's covered in now dehydrated water ball bearing tracks, at least the hood is. I'll assume the roof too has these But the thought that soap suds may be encased in the "wax" that is now something I'll fret about for at least as long as it takes to drive to the CVS and buy some bands aids for my injury sustained in a moment of carelessness yesterday. read more

I really enjoy going to this place, they always take care of my needs and make sure my clothes are taken care of. I have severe allergies, and one of the attendants washed my clothes with a detergent that has dyes and perfumes. I went in and the new owner Dalton, agreed to take care of my clothes and re- wash them for free. I was disappointed in this car wash. I was hoping because of its high traffic, it would be better. It was not. After going through the touch-less car wash, I still have spiderwebs and dirt on my side mirrors and the car is not clean overall. One issue I have in general with these self-washes that is not unique to this location are their inability to remove bug grime. In other states I have seen car washes that have a bug grime remover liquid available to self-apply prior to going through the wash. I wish Wisconsin car washes did that. read more

I was in Middleton helping a family member by washing LOTS of bedding, and this laundromat was nearby. I was impressed with how clean the laundromat was. Cleaning wipes and hand sanitizer are provided, and I was happy that there is an attendant on duty who was very helpful. I'll be back the next time I have many loads of laundry to do all at once. read more

Car/dog/clothing wash--all in one! So far I've only used the dog wash, which is cheaper than a groomer but keeps your home cleaner than the typical "do it yourself" method. Magic offers two separate enclosed dog washing stations, and an employee will also offer to give your dog a treat. Each dog wash station is in its own lockable room and includes shampoo, conditioner, water, and blow drying/suction. Bring your own towels if you don't want to get it all done with the dryer. I was a complete novice to the concept and found it very easy to use. The wall mounted unit allows you to switch between warm water and water mixed with shampoo or conditioner (different types are available. You can also use the green space surrounding the building to walk your dog. Thanks for showing me a better way than having a stinky dog, Magic Wash. read more

I've got this dog. And this dog doesn't seem to like the tub. He will investigate you when you shower, he will pull back the curtain, but when its his turn, it's like he is allergic to water. This only will work for soo long. At some point we all need to bathe. Thankfully this place is just up the road from where we live. I heard this place existed from a fellow dog park patron, and I decided it was prime time to visit. I didn't know I didn't need to bring my own shampoo or towel. I came with my own stuff. Not necessary. A towel is provided, and dog shampoo is provided via the little water nozzle doohickey that you put your money in. There is a table that comfortably held my 65 lb dog (and could have easily supported one 2x his size). You were able to leash him to the table and get your suds on. Mine decided to cower in the corner, even though the water was warm but to each their own. He knew it was time to admit defeat. As we were washing the dog, the owner of the wash stopped in to leave a treat in the corner of the room for the dog for when we were done. Much to the dogs happiness, the bath ended, we blow dried him, he ate the treat and we were on our way. Also, there were waterproof smocks/aprons provided for humans to wear while washing your dog so you yourself don't get the bath too (though to each their own, I suppose...). My only beef is that is was a bit expensive. The way it worked is that you swipe a card into this machine and are given 15 minutes of water/soap/blow dryer time. I think the $10 was a bit much for a dog wash, but as I sit here and actually type this out and think about all I got for that, I think it was worth it. Especially when you consider how much a bath at a dog groomers would be. Much to my canine companions chagrin, we will be back. read more

Before the place was nice and clean. Kept spotless. Now there's cat and dog hair everywhere, even inside the washing machines. Really disgusting because some people are highly allergic like me. I had to clean the washing machine before I used them. Seems like they wash pet items and it's not right. There's no carts to even use because people are saving them and placing their basket on it so no one else can use. The attendant has like 4 carts full of clothes and he's pretty much using them all. This is a very bad experience I've had since the last time I came. Very unfortunate that the business is no longer taken care like before. As the previous reviewer mentioned, this is a newly remodeled facility which has turned out wonderfully. All new equipment and works great. I have been using this place since I discovered it about a year ago. The remodeling took place in November and December 2012. Previously this was just car wash station with about 8 self serve stalls and 2 or three automatic. The remodeling removed some of the self service stalls (there are approx. 4 now) and used this space for a new Laundramat and a dog wash station, which i hear is one of the only ones in the Madison area. I have been there mostly on Sundays and they have an attendant who is an older gentlemen and is very friendly and fun to shoot the breeze with if you use the self service stations. Personally, I believe you cant get a better car wash than using the self service stations if you have the time and strength (your arms do get a little sore after!). For 5 dollars I believe, you get 12 minutes which is plenty of time to do a thorough wash, rinse, wax and time to use scrubber on front end/rims as needed. The soap is not watered down like other places. They also take credit card at the self service station, so no need to fill a sock full of quarters. The only other self service I know of in the Madison area is off Rimrock road, which is cheaper, but for less time, in a rough area, in terrible shape, and the soap is MUCH more watered down. I have also used the laundramat there recently and received exceptional serivce. They have a special going on in March that all dryers are free! All new machines, therefore clothes come out smelling and looking great. In addition, this is a full service laundramat, therefore there is a regular attendant on duty who will do the washing, drying and foling for you. I believe the charge was 49 cents for every lb. They also have a promotion going on right now for the first 10lbs are free. It is a very convenient service if you have a lot of errands to run and dont want to waste an afternoon at the laundramat. I had quite a bit of laundry one day, and the attendant gave me a very good deal in addition to the 10 lbs free. Make sure to tip the attendant if you use this service, she did an excellent job and saves you a ton of time! I have not used the dog wash, as I do not have a dog, but I imagine it could be something fun to do. The only negative I have about this place is that is hard to get in and out of, as you have to pull in behind the building and turn the corner of the building at a blind spot. Its about as narrow as one lane, and people come in and out of same drag. read more

I used the Magic Mutt Dog Wash here and thought it was great. There is a $10 minimum for 15 minutes and under, after that it is metered. The room was clean, but a little dark and cold (it was 20 degrees outside). When I got in there I kept waiting for the light and heat to go on. There was an apron to use and the table/sink was just the right height. There aren't towels, so bring your own. The directions were easy to follow and having the soap mixed in the water was really nice. There is a vacuum and blow dryer there too. It would have been nice if the blow dryer had warm air but maybe I didn't use it long enough. It was well worth the money not to have to attempt it at home. read more

Quite disappointed to find black tar in the wash after we started. It was washed up on my clothes and skin during the car wash process. I reported it to the attendant and the response was "ill take care of it" yet my green cargo shorts were ruined and my skin was going to need a gas based product to remove the tar. I'm assuming this was from their driveway being redone but the company should clean up after their work so the consumer doesn't pay the price. Very disappointing to say the least read more

I have only come here to use the large self car wash stations. They use a free prepaid card system that you load as much as you want onto. It's five dollars to begin the wash and around a dollar fifty per minute after that. So while it is a little pricey for a wash, all their equipment works great in my experience. The employees at the desk are a real treasure. They are always incredibly kind and helpful with whatever your needs are. For instance I have come here for work and need receipts for the money I put on the prepaid card and they always go out of their way for me to get me one. The inside of the store is very clean and good smelling as is their bathroom. Also I have never had to wait more than five minutes for a wash. read more

This is probably the best laundromat that I've visited in my lifetime. First of all, it's clean and conveniently located (meaning you probably won't get robbed or have your clothes stolen while you're here)! Second, it's supervised (more reason you'll be safe).Third, they offer free wifi and everything else you can think of (laundry detergent, dryer sheets, laundry bags, snacks/refreshments). My experience with laundromats in the past were bad locations, dirty, cramped and hot (as in no AC). This one is none of that. They'll even wash, dry and fold your clothes for you (of course for a fee). If you're washer or dryer at home is on the fritz or you have a smaller household then this place is just for you. You can even wash your dog and your car while your clothes are being cleaned because they have that here too. read more

It has been a struggle to find a laundromat that is visibly clean and relatively safe. Both the washers & dryers look brand new and did the job they were meant to do. I'm very pleased that staff is on the premises at all times, again you won't have someone performing absolution's for an hour or more in the bathroom or (my personal favorite) having some budding musician playing guitar for hours on end in the bathroom. read more

This review is for the self-wash garages only. The service at the front desk is nice, very friendly and attentive. Inside washing area looks nice, modern and air conditioned. Did not need those services so can't write a review. There are 4 self-wash garages, two that are extra-high ceiling for larger vehicles, two other smaller garages that are more than sufficient for most cars. Accepts credit cards at the self-wash stations - however, minimum charge is $5 regardless of time spent. It seems that the station will automatically shut off at 20 minutes which it did for me. Cost is roughly $1 per minute. That being said, it took 20 minutes for me to clean the car - this included pre-wash, rinse, soak, foam cleanser, wax, wax conditioning, and rinse. All of these are included in the station, there is no need to bring your own products unless you prefer. There is no way to pause timer in the middle of the wash once you started so you would be wasting money using your own products while the clock is still going. There is also a big brush that squirts out foam to brush the your vehicle with. At the end there is also a big blower to help dry the car - this isn't good enough to do the job completely, but will certainly speed up the process. This alone took me 3-4 minutes to get the majority of the water off of my car. In the end, I spent probably around $25 (around 25 minutes) to self-wash my car. Once I got home I did have to wipe off some water stains that were left (although this is almost universally unavoidable no matter where you go). Would probably just use the hose at my apartment complex next time. Did not try the automatic wash. read more

Open for recommendations to a new go-to car wash. Still highly recommended for the summer since this car wash still keeps my car nice and shiny but simply doesn't cut it for the winter when my main concern is getting the salt off my car rather than keeping it shiny. There are two drive through washes at this location and I normally go through the one on the left and could not see any under carriage sprays, only side blasters that go up and down. And yes, I did pay for the most expensive option. I did see undercarriage washes on the one on the right, which is probably why when I went no one lined up behind me and instead all piled to the right, but even then the undercarriage spray looked like it had the pressure of a half-pumped super soaker. On top of that, the side sprays shoot away from your car and only last 15 seconds, so about 5 seconds is spent just driving in position. I'm there to get the salt off my car, not just to get it wet, so the remaining 10 seconds, which seems like a reasonable amount of time, is just not enough to get the salt off my car. I inspected it afterwards and the crevice around my wheels were almost just as dirty as before. Finally during the drying process, as soon as you drive halfway out, regardless of how much time you have left on the clock, it just stops, leaving several water droplets on the back of my car to dry into water spots. read more

We have an aging cat that decided our king size bed was the place to go. I brought in a king size sheet set, duvet, feather bed, and large blanket along with the mattress pad. We had them do the laundry for us god 99 cents a pound. Super nice woman checked me in and answered any questions and I was impressed how clean everything was! My husband went to pick it up 3hours later and it was all folded and in nice bags along with be stacked nicely in a cart. We will definite,y be returning when we need too! read more

This is the cleanest, nicest, friendliest laundromat I have ever visited. And the staff is so helpful, you begin to wonder if you are in a dream. The machines sparkle on the inside and the outside, there are rolling baskets galore, the folding tables are clean and spacious - AND they offer really strong free WiFi. So, grab a basket, your detegent, your tablet and head here. If your machines break down at home, not only is a visit here like an hour or two of relaxing quiet time, but they also offer wash dry and fold laundry. I cannot say enough good things about this locally owned family business. (And then there's a car wash and a dog wash - A DOG WASH! - and a Culver's within walking distance if you want to sneak a treat when the other half isn't looking. Or you can grab a slice at Falbo's across the street. Or a tallboy, at the former gas station turned drive thru liquor store...) It really IS a magical place. read more
