I used to love these guys. I even drive 30+ minutes to go there over some of their competitors. Until this last experience. I haven't been there in a while, so I decided to buy a 4-pack of their Royal Wash service. The first one was great. I decided to bring my other car in the next day. I drove 30+ minutes to get there only to be greeted by a "Car wash Closed" sign. So, I called and Rod answered. He told me the car wash is closed due to bad weather. It's not even sprinkling out. It's barely "misting". I explained that I had just driven 30+ minutes and everywhere online still says they are "open" and nowhere on their site did it say they close whenever it's even misting outside. He didn't care one bit. I would have been frustrated, but would have taken it a little easier if his attitude was better. He didn't apologize, he had a "yep, we're closed, deal with it" attitude. Then he hung up on me. I called back and told him I didn't appreciate getting hung up on, and he continued with his attitude and kept repeating in a monotone/condescending voice, "how can I help you, sir?". I will be contacting the owners to get a refund on these prepaid washes. What good are they if you can't use them? If they don't refund me, I'll have to submit a chargeback on my credit card. Unless they make things right with me, I will not be going back. Rod single-handedly killed a once loyal customer. --- Update: Melissa, one of the owners of Clear Water called me and made everything right. She apologized and was open to other feedback. She also offered to send me a gift card for the troubles. Although it shouldn't have happened in the first place, they responded very professionally, and I will definitely be giving them another shot. 2 years ago I wrote a review with photos about how terrible they cleaned my car and ignored the one thing I asked (don't wipe the interior front window). The owner called me and said she would give me a gift card if I took my review off Google so I did. She sent me a $10 gift card... so instead of paying $30 dollars I could pay $20 for a shit job. Today I went back hoping they improved. Absolutely not. I wish I could upload photos because there is so much dirt, hair, and crumbs left on my dash, floor, and center consol. It's no wonder you can't leave a review on Google for this place anymore because all of them would be bad. My advice to you is pay the $10 at Kwik Trip because you will pay for the same amount of service for a third of the price. read more

You have got to watch this place. Two different occasions they shuffled me through and not do a tire shine or half hazard job of wiping things down. When your paying $40 for a car wash it should be done right. When I showed the manager this last time my tires were not done he left me in the parking lot took my jeep to the front copped an attitude and put my jeep in 4WD LOW turned on my air conditioning put the air conditioning on and turned the knob to cold and put the jeep not on defrost but circulation. Fogged immediately on me once they released the jeep. This manager should be fired I called the owner and reported him. Definitely not a way to treat customers. read more

The waiting room has comfortable chairs and tables along with free local papers to read. One side does detailing ( which I never used) and the other had all different types of car washes, including a cheap Express Wash option. read more

I like this place. I found it this summer when I first moved up here and when looking to get my car cleaned inside and out. I saw they had a decent price for a full service clean. They have been very quick every time I have gone and with it being winter they actually will towel dry your car after they wash it with hot water. The staff is always friendly and the waiting area has TV and magazines although when I went it was so quick I didn't even really read or watch the TV. If you want a quick place to get your car washed (especially to get all that salt off your car in the winter) then this is the place to do it. I haven't used them for anything but car wash and I haven't used them for deep detailing but if those services are anything like their car washing it should be good as well. read more

A month ago i took my car in for an oil change, after all was said and done and i left i got home and checked the fluids. the boxes where checked that they checked and topped off the fluids. They were still low by any ones standards. I called the mangier and we worked it out that i would bring it back and have them topped off he was very apologetic and gave me a $10 gift card to help make things better. Fast forward to today. I came in fora car wash and interior cleaning,I ordered "The Works" $20.99 worth of car washing supposed goodness. I get to my car after it's "done" and right away in plane sight on the dash to the left of the steering wheel there is still visible dust. drivers side door map storage area is still dirty, the crack between the seats there is still random bits of car debris. The best part is in the center cup holder there is a part of the car, where did it come from? Why is it there? Why was i not informed of possible damage to my car? I am of the belief that you go to a car wash for convenience, their goal is to give you a car wash that you would do yourself if you had the time. I will fully admit that I'm on the pickier side of the spectrum when it comes to car cleanliness. Even if i wasn't this level of stuff not done right or cleaned is inexcusable especially with the missing part thrown in!! If you're looking for a place to just get the WI salt and road dirt off your car or truck this place will do, as would any other automated car wash. If you want the inside of your car cleaned I'd look else where. Bottom line, I gave them a second chance after a mistake. They failed to live up to their side of the deal, so I will no longer be giving them my trust or money. read more

This car wash does a decent job. It gets one star for being poorly run. There is a single bay open for full service (interior and exterior). One bay is permanently closed. The other is for exterior only. About two cars go into the bay every 10 minutes. Be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes for a car wash that is acceptable. Nothing special - which would justify the wait - just no other options in the area. read more

Took my car here for a wash, I got the works plus because my car needed some extra love after driving across county. They did clean the dirt off the sides but left dirt in the back and on the top. They vacuumed but somehow left debris still in the seats and on the rug in the back. They didn't clean the dash or the Windows or vacuum the seats. There was water falling from the top exterior dripping down the back window leaving streaks. I paid 27.99 For a job I could have paid my nephew 5.00 with the same quality of service I received at this carwash. Not to mention when the guy is done with the car, he comes in and yells, white ford explorer....duh next time check what type of car it really is before looking a fool....It is a Ford Edge moron. This was my worst experience going through a car wash that I have had in a long time. I do not usually complain but I have to so other people know what to expect. Had to wait in line for an hour by the time my truck was done it was over an hour and a half. They did a half ass job on the floor mats and were not snapped back in place when I got in the truck I could not step on the gas pedal because the floor mat was not put back snapped back in place.. As my new truck was going through the wash when it got to the blower to dry it was still covered with soap. Then the crew did a half ass job drying it off did not wipe the door jams I basically had to wash the truck all over when I got home. This was the works plus $25.99 one dollar more because it is a truck. I will not be going there in the future will find a different place. read more

I would give 4 stars for quality of work. My issue is that they advertise free car wash with oil change. It's not free if you have a truck or SUV. If so they add $1 to your bill. The additional $1 is fine but the false advertising isn't, its the principle of it. Back on January 17th was my first visit and when I noticed this on my bill I brought it to the attention of the owner who agreed with me and stated he would just eliminate it as it is false advertising. Well I went back to only to find the same additional charge. They don't have a sign or verbally mention it. They just add it to your bill. read more

I was in today to get the interior and exterior of our minivan cleaned. The price was ok -$17.99 for a "gentle" inside and outside clean of the vehicle. I was looking for someone to vacuum the inside of the van, clean the windows and wipe down the surfaces. The good - It appears that they took out the mats and vacuumed them. I think they MAY have wiped down the dashboard and they definitely cleaned the windows. The bad - They didn't wipe out the cup holders or any surface other than the dashboard. They didn't vacuum anything other than the mats. There was obviously sand in spaces that are very easy to get to, and they left it! I ended up vacuuming more when I got home. I found the layout to be very confusing. There's no clear way from the parking lot to get into the reception area. It appears to be a one way parking lot. Once they drive your vehicle out of the cleaning area and park it, if you back out and go the way it appears you should, you end up at a dead end and having to back out in between a line of parked cars and a line of people waiting to get into the cleaning area!! I'm pretty sure I drove out going the wrong direction. The ugly - The front left side of my bumper is now popped out. I'm not sure how that happened, maybe as it was being driven through the carwash, it hit something? Or maybe the brushes were REALLY rough? I've called them and will bring the van back in tomorrow to see if someone on the detailing/quick lube side can push it back into place? I gave them 2 stars because the van is cleaner than it was when I went in. I won't be going back, you know, after tomorrow when they try to fix whatever damage they did to it. read more

This place is good as a car wash but skip the hand wax and rain x program. I spent the extra money thinking they would clean up the exterior but they did not remove any tar from the car nor were all bugs removed. They just waxed over the top. Windows were streaked from car wash which meant they could not have used rain x on all the windows. Even saw water streaks on doors so question if it was even waxed. Spent the afternoon removing tar cleaning windows and then applied wax and rain x myself. read more

I brought my car in for an oil change and car wash, owned it for about 4 years, never had an issue once with it. Upon it coming out of the car wash my bumper was half off. They apologized for the situation and said they would fix it which involved drilling a hole in to my bumper without my permission and zip tying part of my bumper back to my vehicle. They also advised me that prior to me buying my car that there was repairs done on the bumper and thats why it fell off even though ive drove this car a lot in 4 years without issue, as well had it brought to them multiple times without issue. I asked for the managers information (name is Dean) and he proceeds to get upset about it as if im at fault for their machines breaking my bumper off. He then proceeds to tell me that im stupid and its my fault for even buying a car without doing a full inspection on the bumper before buying it. To top this, upon leaving, im in my car with the door shut and in drive, he runs to my door and forcefully opens it and tells me to wait so he can take pictures of it. Very rude manager, no accountability for accidents in their car wash. 10/10 will not be going again. 0 stars if I could. read more

Every time I have gone here, I get back in my car and the seat about a mile away from where i had it and there's a different radio station on. You really need to adjust everything in the damn car to your personal liking to drive it 12 feet to the door? Their staff is nothing but a bunch of little punks. I bring my mini van there all the time for oil changes and washes. I have nothing but great service there. I know that some people say that they don't vacuum very well but I have seen a few vehicles that come in there at are very disgusting on the inside. That just may be the reason they cant get it cleaned good enough the first time. We go camping a lot and the campground we go to has tons of sand. Clear water has always been able to get all the sand out. Overall this is just a great place to go on a regular basis. read more

I just had my 2012 Buick Enclave detailed at Clearwater. It looks better than it did brand new. Everything inside and out was cleaned, shined and put in beautiful condition. And I believe at approximately $150 the cost is very reasonable. My wife and I have been using Clearwater to detail our vehicles every spring for the last five years.
