I know the guy did it on purpose, I couldn't fully prove it unfortunately, but that heater was in perfect working condition until he touched it. Furthermore he tried to sell me, all together, $10K worth of new equipment! Thank God for Eddie and his crew. They immediately came out gave me a very fair price and installed my new unit (that I HAD to get at this point) within less 12 hours. Don't know what I would have done without Eddie's help. I couldn't be happier with his work and again he's professionalism. He has never let me down, even when things took longer than anticipated, as often happens with construction. We requested the next morning around 9 AM, and they gave us a 9:00-9:30 arrival window. Christian arrived at 9:15 -- exactly as promised. He was friendly, professional, and honest from the start. He even let us know about their $79 drain special they were running, which we really appreciated. The job was completed quickly and efficiently, and he was in and out in about a half hour. It was rather late in the day on Saturday so I just turned the water off and decided to deal with the problem on Monday. So, on Monday, I did a drive-by to assess the situation and discovered another area where water was bubbling to the surface and resulted in quite a large muddy spot. Well now, my head just hurt. So I turned to Yelp to look up 'Plumbers' and started reading reviews and I noticed that Rapid Action Rooter had sooooo many positive comments. I sent a message through Yelp describing the problem and a few minutes later I received a reply from the owner. I called Mandel, the owner, and he said he could come out that afternoon. That was yesterday. Mandel and his assistant were waiting for me when I arrived, both dressed in uniform with company info on the shirt. After I showed him the problem areas he and partner got to work. Mandel discovered there was a hole--more of a slit, in the middle of this piece of copper pipe (buried about 3 feet underground )--so weird. Have NO idea how could've happened...or WHEN! Mandel explained the damaged portion of the pipe needed to be removed and replaced, welded back together. He was transparent about the price and method of payment--uses Zelle, which is super convenient! During our conversation, though, I mentioned some other jobs that needed to be completed in the home. Well, before I could say, "do you know anyone who does...?", Mandel was telling me about his drywall & paint guy, his flooring guy, his electrical guy. But more than merely tell me about the tradesmen, he actually called them before he left so that I could coordinate a day/time to meet with them AND Mandel told them that HE would text them my contact information. What??!! I felt an incredible sense of relief knowing that most, if not all, of the remaining projects in the house will be completed. And it's because I had the great fortune---blessing, actually, of meeting Mandel. I would select Mandel and Rapid Action Rooter Plumbing again and again!!! He's the best!!!
