We purchased cabinets for our Laundry Room thru Cabinets To Go in Panama City. They subbed out the countertops to Rio Stone Group to install. The installers who barely could communicate with you as they didn't speak good English cut our the support boards in the sink base to install the sink. They did not bring the correct tools to do the job and used mine. When finished they left their mess. Didn't even clean up after themselves. They also broke the sliders on one of the drawers, threw the parts from it away or took them with them and didn't even tell us. The one picture attached shows the ball bearings and supports that hold them in missing. The second picture shows what it should look like. I called for the owner of RIO Stone Group. I felt it was important for him to know and understand they type of work his employees were doing. Needless to say I got the run around from their employees and never received a call back from the Operations Manager or Owner. I would not recommend them based on my experience. read more

Rio Stone did a terrbile job on my quartz countertop install in Panama City Beach Florida. They did not show up, measured and installed pieces that left a large gap behind my stove, used unmatched pieces on the second install and broke my stove on the third install. They are the only installer for Lowes in Panama City Beach. Do not use Lowes for countertops in PCB because you will only have headaches from the installers and the owners of the company and the ones in charge of Rio Stone, Sage Surfaces. read more

Terrible service!!!! Where do I start?!? 1.) First day here: 1 of 7 pieces is correct. They didn't put anything down and promised they would contact me soon. - sink hole was WAY off and they had the specs for the sink way early. - cuts weren't square or straight and pieces did not join correctly. - one piece was too small AND the wrong shape. - found out the island wouldn't be at all what I imagined. Thought one piece, apparently not, seam is dirty and not in the center at all. 2.) Changed project coordinator on me without notice and in the middle of the project and all the problems. New coordinator wasn't updated with latest info and even called to cancel an appointment to come out that I didn't even know existed in the first place. 3.) walked off with my dishwasher mount the second visit to try and fix things. 4.) on second visit they got the sink right and suppose to fix small piece but they brought the old, too small, piece back WITH THE MEASURMENTS OF WHERE TO CORRECT IT OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN ON IN and tried to install before I said "that the same wrong piece as last time and it hasn't even changed. 5.) counter oven overhang is wrong. Hard to tell except in person and definitely with with a measuring tape but one over hang is more than the other causing gap on either side to be different. 6.) The second time they decided to come out, I had to call and make sure they were actually coming because they were several hours late and it was dark almost by the time they got here. 7.) Because they were in such a rush obviously, the caulking job was done shoddily and when they joined the stones together at the seam, The glue dripped all underneath my island and in my cabinets without them cleaning it up. I had to scrape and repaint in some areas. 8.) Also, since they were in such a rush, I realize that the caulking job to hold top down was not only shotty but it wasn't even completed on all sides. I had to go back myself and caulk in places that were forgotten. 9.) They brought the small messed up piece back without even changing it. 10.) When they had screwed up twice already they jerked me around with "it'll be next week" for multiple months 11.) overhangs around island are off slightly. 12.) After measuring four times for the small screwed up piece, they still can't get it right. Now it's too big! These spaces should match. 13.) owner told me when sending the last piece out finally that " i'll have my guy look at any other problems while he's there." When the guy got here and I told him of the problems he, as he threw up his hands, responded with "I don't deal with that." And apparently with all of our troubles we are just "out of luck" nothing they can do for us. Do your self a favor, don't ever use Them! read more

We are very happy with the way that our granite turned out, they did a great job. In a previous house in NV we had granite installed and the seams looked terrible but you can barely see the seams that Rio did. They arrived when they said that they would and everyone was very professional. We have been slowly remodeling our house so we had the kitchen done first and then one of the bathrooms and we will have them finish the other bathroom after we are finished updating it. We would definitely use them again. read more

Had them install granite counter top. A total disaster. 22 things wrong. Came in 3 pieces. one upside down, one to shout, one a total mess. Sink misaligned by 1 inch front and side, faucet hole off 3/4 inch. Seams obvious and are rough glue on surface. Backsplash misaligned, field cut and not polished. 35 days with no water in kitchen. No contact for 25 days yet they knew about this mess. Zero customer service. Make a mess and run. Got paid so they don't care. Lowes is no help, only lies and talk. STAY AWAY FROM RIO AND LOWES. read more

I used this company because the contractor really liked them even though the reviews were not that great. I started out enjoying the process of picking out my stone. When it came time to get the template for the stone they measured everything but there was confusion about the way the stone would look after it was cut. Communicating with the staff that cuts the stone was not easy. The stone was cut just okay. The stone is beautiful but the quality and finish of the stone was not good. The stone seems thin compared to the same stone that I have in my bathroom from another company. You can still feel the cracks in the stone where they did not finish and polish it correctly. It took a long time for my stove to come in due to the supply chain issues. They gave me two pieces to go behind my stove when it came in. When the stove finally came in I called and called. Angie finally told me she would call me not to call her. They kept saying we don't have a job where you are so we can't come out and finish it. It has been over a month and a half since I started calling. They still have not called to finish the job. The contractor already paid them so they were not interested in doing the right thing. I am not surprised based on Angie's attitude on the phone. There customer service is terrible. I would not use again but find someone that actually cares about their customers. I did have Alabama Stone Works come out and finish the job. They did excellent work and they even filled the cracks around my sink which might cause future problems. read more

Unfortunately Alabama Cabinets recommended this company as the "preferred" company to use. In addition to Amber not getting back to us in a timely manner and delaying our installation and therefore our entire renovation by another week, she screwed up the master granite also. Master required one slab of granite, which she told us from the start we would have. Now there are TWO different colors of granite in our master that she admitted to, and guess what?!? The plumbing installation will have to wait until this can be remedied. Another week (at least) of delays. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Not honoring warranty! Our countertop developed a crack a few months after installation, and well within the warranty period. They said it wouldn't be a problem, that it was under warranty and they would repair or replace it. That was in March 2018. It's now December 2018 and they just keep giving us the run around. They come out and look, talk about it, and claim they will be back to replace the counter, but they never come back. We call them again, and the process starts over. This has been going on for months. I assume that I will eventually have to contact an attorney. This is obviously bad business, and I cannot recommend this company. read more
