They kept me posted on every step and ensured we were set up to spend the night (toilet temporarily set) while we wait for the tiler. Great contractor.

Our job was going to be approximately 50 yds initially, but due to a miss calculation on their part and his crew demolishing sections that weren't quoted, it wound up being approximately 72 yds. This caused an increase in price. Their work is not as described, and they don't follow their on company mission statement. The crew and Brayan (representative) doesn't respect the home owners property. They treat it like a new build by leaving trash laying in the yard, leaving wood on the front lawn for days, cleaning their equipment in my yard leaving shards of concrete material in my grass instead of the street. Brayan doesn't respect the home owners request, example: I asked them not to leave the rebar from the demo laying in my front yard, to place it in the street. Brayan told me that he would have the trailer there to get it, the trailer never showed. I started moving it to the curb after sitting in my front yard for 3-4 days. Communication is a problem, limited use of English. There are more issues... My pour was about a month ago and the job hasn't been completed. Poor performance in showing as agreed. Poor follow up. Discolored pour. They didn't use anything to cover my brickwork, to limit the splatter from the pour. What I've learned, my advise is not to choose them. Look at their review on Networx.com.

Horrible experience with a Byrom Constructed House…read more This builder built my house. Within a short time of moving in, the BRAND NEW house started leaking/POURING water. The builder did come out on numerous trips and purported to fix the problem each time. All to no avail. The house still leaks. Frustrated with the builder's efforts, I have replaced the roof that was not ready to be replaced in hopes of fixing the problem--the roof was not the problem however. My next step is the replace the windows on the upper floors that I believe were not properly sealed. Overall, I would not use this builder to EVER build anything for me.

I hired All Pro Renovations to do some repairs from a fire…read more The owner of the company, Ken, started out on a good note with me but over time that changed. I should have known how the project was going to go from the very beginning. The first day of work, the subcontractors showed up, who were great I might add, and they were removing the dry wall from inside the house and I heard Frank on the phone with Ken telling him he needed the sheet rock so they could get done. It took Ken hours to bring it because he was going getting other things so they were just sitting waiting on him. As the project moved on this is how things went. Ken would not bring material for them to work. He was piece milling the material instead of bringing everything at once. About the 2nd - 3rd week Frank informed me they were leaving early because they were out of material and had nothing to do. I didn't get involved but this continued. About a month later I was sitting in the house about 1:30 and saw The subcontractors talking in front of the house and I New they should have been in the back working. I didn't think nothing of it but about 3PM I looked outside and they were gone. I called Frank and asked him why they left and he said they quit. They were not going to work for Ken anymore due to the way he was talking to him when he asked for material. I called Ken and told him to make it right with them because I didn't want anyone else working on my house. I asked Ken to go purchase all of the material and put what he needed in my garage and the rest out side. He still did not do that. He still purchased a little at a time. The last straw was when the subcontractors were doing the roof, I had to go change the shingles because the ones Ken purchased was wrong. He was not talking to Frank at this point so he didn't know what they needed and was buying the wrong stuff. I had to go swap the shingles myself to keep them working. I gave Ken one last shot and said get EVERYTHING that day for the next day. When he still didn't do it and I had to go to Lowe's and get the wood myself! I fired him. The only thing Ken was responsible for was getting the workers what they needed and he couldn't even do that. He did not do any work on my house himself and was delaying the process for the workers who were. After I fired him I hired Frank and Kevin myself because they did not want to work for him anymore. I started to get the materials myself they needed to complete my house. They are great to work with and easy to get along with. Frank and Kevin did great work and I will hire them again. I will NOT work with Ken Mac at All Pro Renovations again and will NOT refer him to anyone.

I recently hired Genius Roof to reroof my home and I strongly recommend this company. I had several…read moredifferent roofing companies give me bids on installing a new roof. I was very impressed with the management team at Genius Roof. They are both college graduates, very courteous, and very knowledgeable about all different aspects of roofing. They had to coordinate with my contractor who was adding a screen porch to my house. They also coordinated with a spray foam company to add additional foam to some areas that could only be accessed when the roof was off. My house had several decorative metal dormer vents that were in very bad shape. Instead of replacing them they suggested that I could just remove them since my house was spray foamed and they weren't useful. They installed Owens Corning lifetime full replacement shingles. When the crew came they removed the old roof and installed the new one in two days. They were very meticulous about picking up any trash from the project. They even had an employee come by the next day to do another search for any miscellaneous nails or shingles. I am very pleased with my new roof. I have had several friends & neighbors compliment me on how great it looks.

They gave me a $600 quote for gutter cleaning and gutter guard repairs. They missed 4 appointments…read morethat were scheduled on nice days over the course of 6 weeks with no call or explanation. When they finally did show up unannounced on a Sunday morning at 7:40, they did a botched gutter guard repair on one corner of the house and nothing else. The next day I received a call from Justin stating the job was completed. The repair person, Bryan, apparently thought nobody was home since I didn't open any blinds or make any noise and thought he could get away with billing me for the whole job. I have high gutters and can't check them myself, however, I watched everything that was done through the blinds for the 1 hour that they were "on the job". I let Justin know that Bryan had lied about doing the complete job and there was no way I was going to pay $600 for an unsatisfactory gutter guard repair and an incomplete job, and more so, didn't appreciate Bryan lying about it and trying to rip me off. I was told that they would call me back and schedule another person to get the job done but they didn't follow through with that either. Just as well, they obviously can't do the job anyway.
