I have been using this service for several months and after too many issues had to cancel. Small holes in my daughter's clothing, getting other people's clothing mixed with ours, small stuff but the final straw was that they returned our NICE (expensive!) sheets back with huge nasty stains then CHARGED me $31.80 to rewash them after they said it would be complimentary! I'm not sure what they washed our clothes with to cause these disgusting stains but we're out a couple hundred dollars! Clearly they are either washing other people's filthy clothes in with ours or they do not clean their machines or both! When they picked up the sheets for the rewash I of course was not expecting anything since they had been dried with the stain and just as I assumed they came back with the EXACT stain. There are many other laundry delivery services and we have of course switched but wish I would have done so before this fiasco. If I would have read this review I would have checked out another spot so I'm hoping I can save someone from losing lots of money! read more

I found Rinse in SF, but when they expanded to DC I gave them the contact of my grandma. She used to go to the dry cleaner once a week, carrying bags that were way too heavy for her, and grossly overpaying for everything she cleaned. She has scoliosis, so you can imagine how invested I was in getting her to take more care of her back! Rinse has been a godsend to her, and by extension me. She doesn't have to deal with any of it anymore, and just gets it picked up and delivered on a predictable schedule right to her doorstep. Another awesome thing is that she'd always write down everything she sent to the cleaner because she didn't trust that it'd all come back... you have no idea how many notes of laundry lists she used to have cluttering her house. I recently had my first Rinse experience and it went as smooth as possible. The Rinse team is communicative, prompt, professional, and friendly. I had several items dry cleaned (both male and female clothing) and one button repaired. Everything came back in great condition and the button was repaired as requested. I plan to continue using Rinse because it's so convenient. Getting dry cleaning is a frequent problem for me because I work long hours that are unpredictable and I often have to stay late at work after the brick-and-mortar shops close. Rinse solves that problem because they pick up and deliver at the location of my choice and always in the evening. The prices are market for the city and the delivery is free. Rinse is a lifesaver. Their services are easy to use, pretty affordable, and high quality. I don't even have to be home for their pickups and deliveries. They provide separate bags for your wash and fold, hang dry, and dry clean clothes. You fill the appropriate bags and text them when you're ready. They text you to let you know the time range they will be in your area and pick up your clothes promptly within the range given. A few days later (or for an extra fee, next day if requested), Rinse texts you to let you know the time range for delivering your clothes and delivers them to you, nicely folded or on hangers. Since we have a washer and dryer in our unit, I wasn't sure Rinse would be that useful to us. I was wrong. It's amazing to have a dry cleaning service that you can call almost whenever, and that comes right to your door. We simply got our dry cleaning together, and a representative came to our door to pick up the bags. In the email confirmation we received, there were even pictures of all of our items. They returned the items in just a few days, again, straight to our door. They even text us periodically to let us know that a representative is in the neighborhood. My husband and I have been traveling a lot this fall and Rinse has been fantastic for getting our work clothes cleaned in between trips. read more

I can't say enough good things about Rinse. It was so easy! I hate having to lug my clothes to the shop and I always end up going when they are closed. I don't have to worry about that anymore. I loved the idea when I heard about it and my first experience sealed the deal. I had scheduled a pick up for a Tuesday night and got caught at work late and was able to text Rinse to make sure that I was toward the end of the pickup window, which was so amazing and helpful. I used Rinse recently to clean a few shirts and a couple pairs of pants for work. Setting up my account was easy, pick up and drop off was coordinated with my schedule, and everything was dry cleaned professionally. Living in the city without a car, this is a great service for those who don't want to go out of their way (and have to carry your garments somewhere!) for cleaning services. The pricing is really fair, comparable to local dry cleaners around the area, and they will even do minor alterations (e.g. sewing a button) for free! I don't frequently have large amounts of dry cleaning, but I will definitely use Rinse when I do. read more

Rinse has been a real lifesaver for me. I know I always have a stack of fresh, clean, folded sheets and towels, the kinds of things you put off laundering yourself in your condo's laundry. The contacts are timely, by text, informing you of the time of pickup and delivery. The personnel who pick up and redeliver are friendly and reliable; and, I must mention the quality of the service: clean, individually laundered (your batch is washed and dried alone), neatly folded, AND picked up and delivered right at the doorstep=even 4 floors up! A friend recommended I use Rinse a few weeks ago so I gave it a try. On the drop-off front the service was easy (online scheduling, text when someone was there to pick up our laundry). I especially loved that the person came to our door in our apartment, didn't even have to take the elevator downstairs. Sounds trivial, but all part of the convenience of it vs. going to the dry cleaners. I have used Rinse for a year. This is a wonderful and consistent service. Tonight my pickup by Haylin was extra special. Haylin and other staff went through my bags in their holding garage at 11:00 PM to look for the wallet and keys my husband left in his pants before they got washed. It's a good laundry company, They will send me the massage about when the valet will come pick up the clothes and I can always schedule to have it back the next day. And I can leave notes on the app so the valet can follow it up to the right address, it was pretty nice. read more
