Eh its a bar. Only pro is that it stays open after all the others close down at the shops of legacy. Nothing special otherwise.

I come here quite often and the service is always mediocre. If I go with my husband the ladies definately are a bit quicker to serve us. The other night I came and sat down outside and my husband and his brother went inside for a drink and to use the restroom and a waitress came by my table and picked up an empty glass and didn't say a word to me. It ended up not being the waitress serving us but still customer service?! I don't really care to come here but I do anyways. read more

Came here on a Wednesday for an impromptu dudes night out. Very nice atmosphere with people of all (adult) ages, but mostly late 20s and up. The live music guitar player was great. It was different to not hear songs reminiscient of John Mayer. Oh no, in fact one song in particular was about vaginas. I digress. I went to Ringo's after work to catch up on Sports results, have a couple beers and eat some dinner. The beer was cold and priced about what you would expect for happy hour on a Friday evening. The Service was very attentive. The downside for this location is that I ordered the Fish and Chips. I would have to say they should charge about 1/2 the price for the Fish and Chips, it was the smallest order of fish filets I have ever seen. 3 little tiny filets and a small sprinkling of fries. I left after I ate, because I was hungry and had to go get some food to eat. read more

Love the beer selection here and the crowd is always friendly. They can however improve on the servers as they are very slow . Don't go for the tacos as they are not good . I would however recommend the chips and nachos with chicken. I didn't like the patio music but there normal fare is not bad read more

Went here last after Bobs and Scruffy Duffies. Place was much more packed than Scruffy Duffies. Nice beer selection. Lot's of pretty people. Server was must more friendly. I could see myself coming back to this joint when I am back in town. read more

Went for trivia night with a group of friends and decided I would be a DD for the group and just order some iced tea and food for the night. Waitress was rude to me since she figured my tab would not be as high as the rest of the group. So I left a 10% tip for bad service and overly long ticket time on the food. Which I would normally leave a minimum of 20% for good service. Then charges it to my card and come to find out when charges go through on my card the waitress changed the amount on the tip to make it a 23% tip. I don't care if it was only 4 dollars stealing is stealing then when I went back to see the manager the wait staff wouldn't go back to the back to go get their manager so when I called the GM said he could do nothing about the charges. So in my overall review don't go to this bar unless you don't mind people stealing your hard earned money and crappy service. read more

Excellent service, excellent food, all together I would say that Ringos is one of my new favorite places in the Shops. I came in for an outing with some friends I had not seen in a while not really knowing what to expect. We were instantly greeted by a waitress named Allison, brightest smile in the room. she was very sweet and quick to give us her beer knowledge and gave us excellent recommendations. The bar quickly became full and I never saw Allison loose the happy smile that she had. We snacked on the House tots, and some Cristo Bite type deal, and they were delicious! Allison recommended those as well, unfortunately my wife ate most....dont tell her i said that. lol I will definitely come back. Friendly staff and great service, and AWESOME specials. read more

Just came from Ringo's Pub at the Shops at Legacy, not many people inside figured it would be a quick place to grab a bite to eat before the tree lighting. Walked in at 5:40, took over an hour to get a grilled cheese sandwich/fries, sliders/ fries, and two different types of sandwiches with fries!! All the food was cold except the grilled cheese, and that was because the cook only spoke Spanish and did not understand what a grilled cheese was. We ordered a bottle of wine, waitress brought the wrong one, and then couldn't find what we ordered so brought a sloppy second!! Very, very disappointed with the service, and the food...well, it might of tasted better had it been hot and fresh! And the music....loud and not appropriate for the families who were in the establishment! DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT, go to this establishment, you will be terribly disappointed!! read more

Ringo's Racist? I've been to Ringo's quite a few times before and thought it was a pretty cool place. It's the most hole in the wall / dive kind of place you can find in the Shops of Legacy where the majority of patrons aren't collecting social security. We were at the Ginger Man pub but they only serve beer so we decided to walk over to Ringo's for a couple of shots. I followed my friend over there and as we walked in the door I could have sworn I heard the bar tender say "Great, who let the Asian guy in?" to my friend. Apparently he knew her and he said "Oh no, this Asian guy is with me". Yup I'm pretty sure she said something racist. Funny thing is my friend is black. I guess Asians are the flavor of the month to discriminate against. I had to go to the restroom but had to hold it because I couldn't find the sign for the "Yellow's Only" restroom...lol. Anyhow I thought it was kind of funny and worth writing about. I don't really care about ignorant people's opinions. I'll just take my good ole American dollars somewhere else.... unless I'm really fiending for fish and chips and don't want to drive up to the Londoner, or if my friends really want to go I guess I'll go. Other than my girlfriend catching a rat and getting bitten by it, the bar should be below most individuals' expectations. About 15 minutes after sitting down at a booth inside the bar, screaming interrupted our conversation. Patrons were of course yelling and standing on their chairs because a rat was loose and roaming around the bar. 5 to 10 minutes later and after the staff made little to no attempt to catch the filthy bugger, my girlfriend reaches down and grabs it. Of course the rat bit her, and she then held it for about 30 seconds waiting for the staff to come to her aid with a trash bag. The patrons in the bar then gave her a standing ovation, in thanks for ridding the bar of a rodent. After 15 minutes of waiting for our waitress to come by, I got up and found her. I then asked her if it wasn't too much trouble to ask for the manager, at a minimum, to at least come by and thank her for doing a job that an exterminator should have taken care of; not to mention, asking her if she needed any medical treatment for any number of diseases that could have been transmitted to her. 5 minutes later the waitress came over with free shot, yet still no manager. 5 minutes later the tables on both sides of us, were complaining that we had not even been given a thank you. One table called the manager over to discuss the matter as they believed my girlfriend did the bar a huge favor. The table told the manager that we should be comped our $30 tab. At this suggestion the manager threatened to assault one young gentleman and then asked him to step outside so that he could make good on his threat. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. Right as we were about to leave the manager came over and thanked my girlfriend for catching the rat. After being told how ungrateful he was by multiple patrons he took care of our small tab and we left. Needless to say I will never go back to this rat infested establishment. Seriously get it together. Managers threatening to assault patrons is out of control. I would hope that the owner of this establishment if he knew of what happened would fire all staff involved in this grossly inadequate showing of customer service. read more

We have been here now for at least two hours watching the "waitress" do absolutely nothing. We have not been acknowledged even once. All drinks we have had to retrieve ourselves from the bar. We have brought this to the attention of "management" and they asked "what would you like me to do?" Even after said conversation nothing. Have been coming here for years but won't be back. Popped in with a girlfriend after a movie Sunday afternoon, so we had no problem getting a table and good service. We had a couple glasses of wine each, and shared one burger and the (massive) cheese platter appetizer. Actually the platter itself was enough for a light meal between the two of us. It had an excellent selection of cheeses and crackers along with a bunch of crisp red seedless grapes, fresh raspberries and a calamata olive spread so good that I scraped the rest of it into my doggy bag. The burger did not disappoint, either. The mushrooms were well grilled but still recognizable, the Swiss cheese melted just enough, and the burger itself juicy and flavorful on a fresh bun. The heap of fries would've been enough for four -- fresh, hot and tasty. Since I've seen quite a few authentic pubs, I can fairly say that Ringo's makes the grade for a Yank effort. You gotta give American guys their TVs in any bar, but we were still able to hear ourselves. The service was attentive and friendly. We spent about $60 including a 20% tip. In my 20s or 30s, this place might've become a favorite regular hangout, but as a couple of cougars, well, we still didn't feel out of place -- maybe because it was Sunday... read more

Stopped by this pub for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at just about everything! The bartender greeted me on the way in, but my dinner companion and I went to sit at a pub table for dinner. The cocktail waitress was sweet, quick, and had great beer knowledge which I've found to be rare in most DFW pubs. She helped me pick a Belgian ale that paired really well with my fish n chips (also very good). The atmosphere is very neighborhood bar, but Planoized..casual but nice...and clean!The jukebox on the inside is a cool, fun touch for a bar, except when noone is playing anything. I put a couple bucks in to make it through my dinner. There was a musician outside playing to a packed patio..next time I will sit there. The crowd was a mix of Plano professionals unwinding and college students partying. The food and suds were excellent, as well as the staff. Other than stop/start/stop/start music, I really enjoyed my experience at this cozy pub and will be back. read more

Went here with wife for casual Friday night. Expected pub type atmosphere and it was ok. Noisy but that's the way pubs are. Waitress was attentive but food was so so. Nice selection of beer. Service was slow. Ordered bread pudding, which I love, and it was dry. NO SAUCE. What happend to the whiskey sauce? Took nearly 20 minutes from time of order desert to time of getting it. By far the worst experience I've had at the shops of legacy, I went there with my sister and my brothers, during thanksgiving day,. I asked for four shots of Deep eddy peach chilled with a splash of sprite. What I got was two shots split into four, filled with sprite, I nicely said to them that I didn't believe I got the liquor I payed for. I payed $24 and payed a $6 tip. As I sat there and nothing was done about it, another bartender came by (short blonde) and asked me "should I pour more sprite in it?", I said no, I didn't pay for all this sprite, I payed for the liquor, which is when the tall brown curlish hair guy said, "are you still complaining about the shots you got?!" (The one who poured the shots in the first place) as they both still ignored me and the situation, I pushed the shots away, and walked away.
