First time having my TDL actually scanned by entry man. Apparently this is some kind of "members club" of sorts. The place had a faint unpleasant smell, bathrooms actually smelled cleaner lol. Went on a Monday night so can't really compare the vibes. Seemed like it's for older crowds and might be a place for the occasional regular. Staff seemed friendly once they attended to us. Bartender was more interested in the group (friends I'm assuming) that was already there and drunk when we arrived at 10:30. We had one round of drinks and headed out. Might try it again if I stay at the Marriott next door.

I hold bars... Especially dive bars... To a different standard and degree in comparison to normal restaurants when it comes to my food selection. With that being said I don't expect much, however I do expect to get what I asked for. I ordered a chopped salad, add chicken breast, salad dressing and sides or toppings separate from the salad... To go. That is not what I received. To be honest, I know they don't give a damn about the quality of food or drinks at the bar. However... I truly did not expect to get a Luke warm soggy crouton melted plastic cheese looking salad without the chicken I requested and a giant hair in there instead. At this point I just think I have lived in the Shops at Legacy for too long because I just cannot handle the piss poor service anymore...it's not just here either. Owners and management care NOT.

Ringos was a great place to relax. Pub and sports bar vibe. Plenty of tv's around the inside. Jamie and Maddie were great behind the bar. Jose was personable while helping get a table set up. I'll be back soon!

What an amazing hole in the wall and great recommendation by friends. Went here on a Saturday and totally loved the DJ. Played great Old School Hip Hop mixed in with new school hip hop! Love it that you can just walk in dressed as you are. Its a late crowd that enjoys dancing, and is laid back!

Love this place! It's more of a dive bar and reminds me of when I lived in England. Good draft beers, plenty of tvs, good happy hour prices, and a few authentic England Pub dishes. My favorites include: - pub style fish and chips - bangers and mash - shepards pie Patrons are friendly too, unlike a lot of places in Dallas. Enjoy!

Solid beer spot with decent bar food, but the happy hour is just $1 off everything with no food specials. It's a nice, quieter hangout spot but certainly not a destination I'd go out of my way to experience.

Plenty of free parking, but it fills-up, as the Silver Fox bar is neighbor. A glass of Smithwick's draught beer, and a snack from the excellent menu brought me here, as well as the joyous & vibrant crowd. A live Irish band was setting up on the stage, but I had other things scheduled for my Saturday night. For now, college football was on the bigscreen above me, staff was busy with all seats along the bar taken, and I looked thru the amazing food menu of Irish & UK style dishes, with some San Patricio dishes from Mexico! The San Patricio Brigade of the Army of Mexico in 1846 were Irish conscripts that deserted the US Army invasion into Mexico due to Protestant American officers not allowing the Irish troops to attend Mass in the Mexican cathedrals. Then, most of the Irish "deserted", to defend Mexico from this invasion dreamed-up by U.S. President Polk to create more new States for Dixie to expand (Polk was a slave holder). The Irish ran the line of cannons for Mexico to win one battle, but Mexico was running low on bullets & supplies by now, and doomed for a loss. (If the Irish had just waited 2 more weeks, it would have been over with). Alas, the US Army quickly executed 30 of the Irish San Patricios in a mass hanging, while a group were hot-branded a letter "D" on their faces for "Deserter". (If seen again in USA, anyone could hang them) However, an untold amount escaped into the hills of Mexico, and married into the families. The Saint Patrick's Brigrade has a monument in Mexico. And USA gained the territory that Polk wanted, while a junior Congressman named Lincoln shook his head, yet had plans of his own. Meanwhile, Mexico would have another revolution in 1910, and a young Irish Mexican boy would enter USA with his family to end up in Los Angeles where young Anthony Quinn became a promising young architect, married a 35-year old woman who arranged acting lessons for him, giving the movie industry a macho man star. Come over to Gillespie's for more stories & cold pints! And good food, and live music!

The fried cheese and corned beef/reuben egg rolls were out of this world. The potato skins and jalapeño poppers were good too but as mentioned the other two items were on a higher level of greatness.

The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!

He's British and wanted to find some really good Fish and Chips. I had high hopes, especially since this was a "Pub". Pub's over in England have the BEST food! He ordered Fish and Chips and I ordered a Patty Melt. The waitress brought us out drinks (waters) and we waited. And waited. And still waited. There was a couple at the table next to us and they were waiting also. FINALLY the Fish and Chips arrived, it was SO exciting! Well, I should say it was just the Fish and Chips that arrived. The lady at the table next to us had ordered the Fish and Chips also. The gentleman next to us had to wait for his food just a little bit longer, and when it came I saw that it was a hamburger. I was the only one now who was still waiting on their meal. At this point I was thinking of just canceling my order because it was taking so long, but then it finally appeared. I looked at the chips and thought to myself, "what are these?" They did not resemble the Chips that we were accustomed to having. I was hoping for thick slices of potato, like Steak Fries or Cottage Fries. These resembled thick slices of potato chips and they really weren't thick at all. My husband continued to eat his meal. I looked at his meal and thought "why is that one piece of fish over on the left side of his plate/tray?" It looked overcooked. Really overcooked. He didn't look very pleased. Come to find out, it wasn't just over-cooked, it was also dry. And it was a very small portion. Please note: he ordered the larger portion, not the half portion. But it was really small. We both continued to eat our meals and then asked for the bill, paid and then left. As usual, we always discuss the new places we visit on the way home. We both agreed this time. We had high hopes. But the Fish and Chips were not as authentic some reviewers have mentioned. So we most likely won't be back. Which is too bad, because it is a really cute place and we really wanted to like it. On to the next. Hopefully some day we will find some really good Fish and Chips.
