When I dropped him off, I specifically declined the late-night treat because I know my dog does not like peanut butter. However, when I picked him up the next day around 2:00 PM, I was surprised to find charges on my bill for both a "late" pickup and the late-night treat that I had declined. The most concerning issue, however, was my dog's condition when he came home. He was covered in fleas. Prior to his stay, he did not have a flea problem, and he had even been to the vet the day before boarding with no issues noted. Finding him infested immediately after boarding was extremely upsetting. Not only was this uncomfortable for my dog, but it also created a problem in my home that now requires treatment and additional expense. In addition, my dog is normally very high energy, but when he came home he slept the entire first day, which was highly unusual for him and added to my concern about his overall condition after his stay. Between the unexpected charges and the flea issue, this was a very disappointing experience. I would encourage pet owners to carefully review their invoices and thoroughly inspect their pets after pickup.

Our 4 dogs were boarded there for about 10 days and our oldest suffered an emergency so they brought him to the vet for us and stayed with him until they could reach us... mind you we was on a cruise so it was delayed messages and missed calls, but they kept trying. Once we touched base they still kept up with us on progress of him. The compassion from staff was great, we arrived home 2 days later and ended up having to put our baby down . The owner was super sweet once we arrived for other dogs. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great care for your babies. Thank you again Prancing Puppy we very much appreciated it.

I found this place to wash our dog after realizing the bathtub wasn't going to cut it, and we don't…read morehave a backyard to wash him. Now as a disclaimer, our dog is a 100lb dog, 2.5 feet tall from his feet to the top of his back, and almost 5 feet long. He is a long, big, and awkward dog, especially when it comes to bath time. He tries to run away, until he finally surrenders once you get him in the tub. This makes it impossible to bathe him at home. On top of that, full grooming from other places is just too expensive to do every 6 weeks. Metro Animals Pet Wash is such a convenient, money saving option between full grooming sessions, or even in place of them! I still prefer to take my dog every few months for a full grooming session (minus a haircut) but having a place to easily bathe him in between is amazing. At Metro, too bathe our dog it costs $25, and it includes shampoo, conditioner, drying, nail clippers, ear cleaner, hairbrushes, breath spray, and a nice scented spray. I could not ask for anything better, in a giant tub, and a way to wrangle him and keep him in one place. Plus, they have treats for sale at the front to reward your dog for being great during bath time! On top of this, the staff is always so kind and helpful, as well as receptive to any and all questions. My husband and I were nervous to cut his nails as we had never done it, but she walked us through how to cut them and from there we were golden. Huge thank you to Metro Animals Pet Wash for being such a convenient and affordable place to wash my dog!

Got our dogs back and they'd been washed but didnt look like they had been groomed or even brushed in the slightest. Ending up costing about $190 for pretty much just a bath. Will not be going back.

They had my dog in a crate for probably 90% of the day and when I asked why they said she didn't get along with a certain dog. Then I noticed even when the dog wasn't there she was still left in the crate. Her last day at this location was also her gotchu day (which I told them), when I came to get her they told me she had pooped all over herself because they left her in a crate too long. When I asked them if they had fed her anything they said no, which is suspicious because she has that reaction to dairy and whipped cream. They then gave her a "complimentary" bath in which they washed everywhere but her butt, which was still caked in poop. You'd have better luck hiring someone off of Rover to care for your dog while you're away.

Then I was charged for 2 days and an exit exam. All of which is their "policy". I feel like it's a way to scam customers. Please do not take your animal there if you care about them!!! They were also very condescending when speaking to me about their policy. I took my dog to a place that has a small area outside their cage that the animal can go out to while the cage is being cleaned. Still enclosed and quarantined.

A grooming appointment should not take five hours, and it shouldn't be this difficult to schedule one. It also seems like there was confusion between AM and PM. Your business isn't even open at 10:30 PM, so why does your scheduling system allow appointments to be booked at that time? To make things worse, the employee who called me was rude and basically told me, "Better luck next time." There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to make the situation right. This was a complete waste of my time. Based on this experience and the poor customer service, I won't be coming back.

Metro Animals was one of the only places that were okay with taking in dogs that weren't exactly people friendly. I appreciate that they let us do a free trial day to see if he would be a good fit, which thankfully he was. The staff were incredibly kind and patient with Duke. He has even warmed up to a few of the staff members. Most of the employees seem to have an understanding of dog behaviors and how to work with them. I would definitely recommend them 10/10
