Choosing Palozzi Flooring to install vinyl planks in our master bedroom paid off nicely in a…read moretimely, affordable endeavor. Owner Anthony acknowledged our budget and presented many appealing options. Gustavo Felix and Jesus performed the multi-step process from carpet removal to custom baseboard painting. My husband commented that he was glad we hadn't attempted the project ourselves--since we're consummate DIYers--after watching the complicated process and the obvious ease of their long expertise. I appreciated Gustavo's edification on flooring types and the pros and cons of product choices between flooring contractors and Floor & Decor. Seems there's a big difference in the "Uni Click" and "Easy Click" types of planks that is not addressed in online tutorials. (He advocates the former.) We had originally decided on Floor & Decor products and merely sought installation estimates. Although we ultimately lucked out in meeting with Anthony and finding commensurately-priced products, I suggest more initial pushback to educate first-timers about quality differences and pricing. Big-box stores aren't necessarily the best choice. We are pleased with the new bedroom look and anticipate similar carpet replacement throughout the house down the road.

While they were polite, provided a reasonable estimate for the tile work, and were punctual, the…read morequality of the work left much to be desired. Replacement of broken tiles looks good, but time will tell if it lasts. The new sealer didn't seal. It unfurtanately rained the day after they finished, and multiple pin-holes and bubbles allowed water to get under the new sealing, leading to white splotches on the tile. In addition, one worker apparently stepped on the sealer while it was uncured, leaving an imprint of his sneaker under 6 layers of sealer. They did come back and "clean the surface" but it is clear to even an untrained eye the the issue with the pinholes went down to the bottom layer, Despite the apparently good reviews online, my experiece left me with a bad taste, WMMV

Excellent from start to finish. Carlos was a blessing to my project…read more -He was friendly, prompt and on time with reminders of any kind when it came to coming to my home and providing me with an estimate. Other companies and contractors flaked or tried to provide me with general estimates via texts. Not Carlos. -His estimate was clearly outlined and there was no pressure to do things a certain way. Because I was working with a budget and fluctuating ideas on baseboard and the type of floor I would select. Carlos made it easy to view and choose because everything was listed and itemized. He also was always available to me to answer questions or clarify items for me. -He didn't flinch when I asked about a seamless install and he never made me feel bad for asking questions or referring to my budget. He was always kind, understanding, and professional. -When other factors that had nothing to do with him came up, he offered to help me with referrals to other trades like plumbers, etc. -When it came time for the install, his team was prompt, thorough, and very efficient. OF ALL THE TRADES HIS TEAM WAS THE ONLY ONE TO LEAVE MY HOME BETTER THAN THEY FOUND IT. Sorry to scream on that one but it was that much of a stand out. His guys took care of everything needed to do the job and then cleaned my home and the space they were working on outside without me asking, following up, or needing to do it myself. -Finally. When it came to billing everything was simplified there too. I was able to pay by phone or online with a link. Easy breezy and MY FLOORS LOOK AMAZING. I have already referred Carlos and Wood Floor Installers Inc. He was a true blessing to me on my project.

If you want someone who stands behind their job and installation, Do Not hire J W Tile & Stone! The…read morefabricator he hired to cut out our sink opening did not do it correctly. I tried talking to the man & he did not understand one word of English nor did he speak any. No one asked about where we wanted the opening and naturally we assumed it would be centered with the cabinet doors as all of our sinks are. He wanted the sink & he just cut the opening. We had 6-7 people in the house that day & I was tired and I feel that's why I just didn't see the error until he had been paid and gone. I feel he knew that the sink was wrong and that's why he asked me several times if I had signed the invoice. When he left he shook my hand and said if you have any problems, just call me, which we did the same evening. He sent us a text informing us that once the invoice is signed he does not come back! Well legally he may be right but morally he is wrong! We paid him over $10,000 for mostly tile work and I wonder if something does go wrong, he's not going to stand behind that either. We now have had to purchase a new piece of stone and will have to pay another installation charge for his mistake. I hope this will make people think twice before hiring him!

He was able to fit us in last minute, which we truly appreciated. After evaluating everything, he gave us a very honest assessment. He explained that while the results he could achieve would likely be very good, the natural characteristics and quality of our specific limestone meant that--even at its best--it still wouldn't match the look we were hoping for. That level of transparency is rare and really speaks to his integrity. Even though we didn't end up using his services, he was incredibly kind and generous with his time. He shared helpful tips not only about maintaining our stone, but even offered advice on preventing damage to our driveway, which was above and beyond. It's clear he genuinely cares about doing what's right for his clients, not just making a sale. Because of that, we would absolutely consider using him in the future--especially for epoxy garage floors when the time comes. Very appreciative of his honesty and professionalism. Highly recommend reaching out to him if you need expert advice on stone care and restoration.
