The churrasco con camarones (shrimp with grilled skirt steak) was flavorful and tasty. The pupusa doble queso (double cheese in corn patty flat dough) was nice, hot and cheesy. The tamale de gallina (hen tamale) was tender and well seasoned. The frijoles colorados (cooked red kidney beans) cocidos were tender, nice seasoned. However, they were very salty. These beans would taste even better if they were a teaspoon less salty. Otherwise, the red kidney beans soup would be have been perfect! Lastly, the estimated delivery time was 30 to 60 minutes. The store took a long while to deliver (we live less than 2.5 miles away) as the store's delivery guy got here around 53-minutes after we placed the order. read more

This place is so underrated! The food here is so authentic and delicious. I highly recommend their beans and cheese pupusas. My family and I love to have breakfast here as their portions are amazing, we have a yummy breakfast, and all for a great price. I imagine that if I order an item a la carte I would die of hunger . I love me some pupusas, so when I discover thus place, I was in heaven! Located in this small shopping center, on 137th and past 152nd, this little spot is really good for an inexpensive, yummy meal. Oh, note there is another rinconcito in that plaza, but it's not the same. Make Sure it says Salvadoreno, or else you won't be enjoying Salvadorian food. Now the service in all honesty isn't the best, but it makes up for it with the food. The servers had to be flagged down. I had to ask for water 3 times and silverware twice. Aside from that, the food is just da bomb! Please still say da bomb, right? Anywhooo, let's talk soup. I love soup and the sopa de res is delicious. I don't think they serve it everyday, so call to ask. I ordered the small and it is very filling. It comes with a hearty chunk of carne de res, potato, corn, and platano, served with rice. It really hits home, especially on a cooler day. The cheese pupusas are my fav! Packed with cheese and just so perfect. Top it off with a little hot sauce and the cabbage salad and you won't regret it. The prices here are really reasonable, so you can get a lot of little cost. Pleasantly surprised at this restaurant since vegetarians and Latin food usually don't mix. I had the pupusa with cheese and the huevos rancheros for dinner. Really didn't have a complaint about the service or the food. It's solid people and you will have a huge menu if you are a carnivore. My friend had the bistec empanizado...this thing looked like an 1/8 of a cow. He ended up having to take it home. Most serving sizes are the reason why Americans in general are the size that they are so if small is your concept, you may want to order a la carte. This has got to be the best salvadorian restaurant ever! My husband got carne asada, my daughter had two cheese and bean pupusas, and I got the bistec salvadoreño. We were so happy and so full from our delicious fresh food. For drinks we had fresh pineapple juice and horchata and oh my god, horchata taste like home. So yummy. Food was authentic and definitely the best pupusas in south florida, hands down! Almost taste like my moms. Our waitress was attentive, nice, and quick. Ambiance was definitely salvadorian! So I started off with a pupusa revuelta (don't even ask me what was in it) but it was delicious. I ordered an horchata drink that I did NOT like at all! It tasted very smoky and not like any other horchata I've ever had. I'm sure that's the way it's supposed to taste, but I wasn't a fan of it at this restaurant. For the main entree I shared an Antojito salvadoreño which was a variety of meats, cheese, pupusa, yuca, beans, etc. It was so good and sooooo BIG! They've improved since they first opened. I just wish they would fill it up more with the good stuff like they do at El Atlakat. Chicken and Steak Burritos are out of this world! Very hearty. Not too many fillers, just right. Churrasco is actually really good here. Their house-made chimichurri sauce is superb! Not too garlicky. I decided to try something new and went for the Salvadorean Steak (Grilled flat meat topped with onions, green peppers and tomatoes). Not my kind of meat. Very chewy. Very upset with management computer systems were having problems they charged me a month later. Noticed bank account charges. So I called to see the reasons for the charges they informed me of the problems but then they tried to charge me for something else that I never ate. They tried to charge me 85.00 I explained wasn't me but they insisted because of a credit card that didn't even match or name as well. Next time they should look before accusing me or anyone else. The platter had some hit and miss, the fried pork chunks had more fat than meat, the re friend beans were not flavorful, it was missing some salt. The crispy chicken tacos were great and flavorful. The fresh cheese was very good and it went well with the steak fajitas. The platter was a bit greasy, but heck everything there was fried. All hail small little places... THIS is one of them. Drove by it endless times and finally went for some traditional breakfast and I was NOT disappointed at all. Even though I chose a rather large dish I had to get into those pupusas- the star of the show if you ask me. This is a busy little strip mall so parking is a bit chaotic. The place itself is pretty simple and in the small side but they do offer delivery so that's a plus. Service was ok- we had to be on top of her to get things out but it didn't hurt the overall experience. The scramble was on point- similar to our huevos pericos (this colombiana loves a good scramble) the cheese was fresh and even la crema was delicious. I can't even begin to describe those pupusas. Took my right to a happy place- they have different stuffings to chose from. I downed this breakfast of champions with their version of horchata- refreshing and sweet peanut goodness.
