The most unprofessional personnel I have come across…read more My fiancé and I drove across the country to pick up the contents of my storage unit, we arrive at 9pm and started loading the 22' enclosed trailer with my furniture that had been in this facility since 2017. Some background: Four years, four years of giving this company money and I have visited this facility 3 times in those four years. After we had pulled everything out of the storage and started playing Tetris in the trailer, trying our best to fit things in, the guy that lives on the property comes out to tell us we have 15 min before the gate LOCKS US IN the storage area for the night. He was all to happy to let us know this as he could see the contents of my storage where all out out of the unit and behind the trailer. So with 15 minutes left, we had the option to load or to move everything back into the unit. We chose to load as quickly as possible. At 10:03 we were loaded and at the gate to leave. Mind you, I have a gate code. So I enter the code and the gate denies us the ability to exit. I call the office, no answer. I knock on the office door, no answer, so I was forced to honk my horn until he responded. To say the least, he was not happy. As he came out he smacked the side of my trailer in an aggressive manner, cussing at me for making noise because his kids where asleep inside!! (I did cuss back, btw) First off, I had no idea he had kids living above the office on this storage lot, second, there should be no reason for a gate to ever lock people inside a facility. On my way in to the lot at 9pm that evening I didn't see any signs or warning that the gate would lock us in. Suggestions for the business: 1)get a system that doesn't lock people in, but locks them out. 2) Hire a people-person. 3) train the person not to become volatile toward the customers, especially in Texas, most have concealed carry permits and will not put up with aggressive behavior. Positives points: 1) after 4 years my furniture was in perfect condition 2) although the employee that lives there was intolerable and aggressive, fortunately, we never felt threatened because of his frail appearance. It was somewhat humorous after a long drive. One star, poor personnel.

stay away!!!! gate is wide open and no telling when they will close it so there is no security and…read moreyour vehicle is at risk for theft. 5:45 am today the gate got stuck from opening. it opened maybe 6ft wide. i called the emergency line and they said repairguy will be there in 15-20 min. almost an hr later he rolls in. then 20 min later to open it. i called later during the day to confirm the gate is fixed and i was told it was fixed. i was told a dump truck hit the gate. that was a bold lie, that gate wasnt damaged at all. it was still on the tracks, not bent or falling over. the real reason the gate wasnt working is because the chain that is on the gate that gets turned from the machine was bone dry, no lubrication on it at all. when that chain isnt lubed it will bind and strain the machine causing it to not work. how do i know this, i ran a storage facility for 20 years and i had the same mechanism on my gate. anyway, i show up at 8pm to find the gate wide open. i called the emergency # and no answer. i get a call back and a man claiming to be the owner telling me about this dump truck at 4am hitting the gate. he told me that if im not patient for them to fix the gate that i am being evicted tonight and he is disabling my code and towing my vehicle out. that is against the law. in order to evict they have to serve the proper paperwork by state law and give "x" amount of time to leave since ive already paid for nov 2025. now at 8pm i was talking to a customer that was exiting and he told me that at 4am he was there and the gate was stuck and he was calling them because he is now late for work because he cannot access his truck. funny how he didnt mention a dump truck there at 4am hitting the gate, hmm, thats because no truck was there at 4am hitting the gate. they just lack maintenance on their gate and dont care about their customers. this is how they treat customers. they leave customers with no security when you are paying for that gated security. so i strongly urge you to rent elsewhere as you will not have any security here as this gate is wide open as i am typing this review.
