Long Version: Our HVAC went out just as summer was hitting. Upstairs completely dead, downstairs on it's last leg Ouch. I actually own a general contracting company, but not in Riverside County. So I had to interview and vet HVAC companies from scratch. Advanced HVAC was the 2nd contractor we met with in our home. Danny was simply outstanding. HONEST, thorough, expert. He was patient and provided different options based on our budget. NOTE TO OWNER OF ADVANCED AIR OWNERSHIP: whatever you are paying this man is not enough - give him a raise. When Danny left after about 90 minutes, our decision was made. We were going with Advanced Air. Pricing was clear, upfront and VERY competitive. Unfortunately, I can't say that about the other contractors we met with. Notes about pricing: as a Contractor myself, I have the ability to understand approximately how much these HVAC contractors are marking up their labor and materials. An unscrupulous contractor may attempt to charge 50% or 100% more than another one for the EXACT SAME system. Do not fall for this. At the same time though, a quality contractor like Advanced Air has the right to cover all of their costs AND earn a fair profit for their TIME AND EXPERTISE. As a homeowner, the quality of installation should matter to you just as much as the materials. I recommend looking for a FAIR price but not necessarily the LOWEST price. Advanced Air delivers in both respects. Once the scope of work was final, we scheduled the install. It was actually (2) units, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. The team was obviously experienced. Austin, Johnny and Mike immediately split up and went to work. By the end of the day we had COLD AIR flowing out of all the air ducts - sooo nice. The team went through a brief checklist with me confirming what tasks were done. Loved that professional touch. The work areas were left CLEAN and tidy. About a week after the install, I had a small concern. (Keep in mind that I am picky). Advanced Air IMMEDIATELY scheduled a service call. The tech was experienced and efficient. I got a second opinion from Veteran's heating and cooling and it turned out to be the compressor contactor that welded itself in the ON position which I had mentioned to the Integrity technician already. I immediately called WeCare of that incident telling them to never send that rude technician again, yet he came back 3 hours later with other wrong parts. Since then, unreliable scheduling and being canceled after waiting over 6 hours for the latest appointment attempt. An absolutely disgusting display of continuing horrible business practices. You can see so many negative reviews, and I clearly know why...I have experienced way too much incompetence and stupidity over and over with this service provider from my own experiences, and they always try to sell you things that you don't need. I will be contacting Costco to inform them of the kind of service and false promises being dumped upon their customers. They strongly need to reevaluate this company due to the "service" they provide. Shameful and disgraceful for so many...multiple...incidents of not providing quality and timely service. So, still, at this time and for months, I am left with a lack of quality air to circulate within my home due the ongoing negligence and nonsense from the people I have been interacting with at WeCare. When it became clear that my old HVAC system was on its last legs (installed in 1999) and reached out to a few companies for information about replacing it with a heat pump, Jaime responded quickly and offered to talk to me very next day, even though it was a Saturday. He was thorough and patient, explaining all of the details in easy to understand language, and even the drawings he made were helpful. After listening to my concerns and questions, he designed a great new system for me that would do everything I needed, plus it would be WAY more efficient than my old one. Jaime put together a team that could not have been better - they were professional, pleasant, respectful, careful and genuinely nice. Very impressive. Julian, Darrin, Aldo and Fernando are top-notch technicians. The system is now installed and aside from my own learning curve on using it, I think it's awesome. ProFlo is available to answer questions and make sure to let me know they have my back. Honestly, I never loved an HVAC system before...but I now know it's never too late to start. :) Not only do I have an elegant, efficient and up-to-date system, I already know I will turn to ProFlo for ALL of my plumbing and house maintenance needs in the future. Update to owner's reply (screenshot attached): At no point…read morein my review did I claim the damage was major or minor. That is for the insurance adjuster to determine, not the business owner. The invoice shows the correct filter size was marked as installed, yet two undersized filters were actually used -- one of which was sucked into the unit. That isn't a "mistake," it's negligence. Posting this so the record stays accurate and you stay aware of negligence and blaming the consumer.
