I moved from New Westminster to Langely and as a single female, was worried about the furniture and the fact that most of my boxes had stuff that was in some way or another a bit delicate. Not only was everything moved in 2 hours but since unpacking, I have noticed that there have been absolutely no casualties in the move - which is what can happen when I try to move on my own or with friends. Communication was primarily over the phone, with email confirmation a couple days prior. The move itself was absolutely painless. Not only are they incredibly affordable, especially after doing my due diligence and getting quotes across the city, but they are also professional and polite. Highly recommended.

Super kind and they listened attentively to all requests and concerns while they efficiently moved. Great communicators. If you have any delicate furnitures, do ensure that the movers wrap it with additional blankets and wrap them securely with tape/saran wrap. Several ladies (zella, kathy, brenda) who helped me reserve movers initially and handle post-move discussions were very professional, respectful, and responsive. They want to provide good service to their customers and retain customers and it really showed in many ways!! Ue the coupon from yelp for discount. They accept it. Thank you for a great service and for making it a smooth moving experience. Recommended!!!!

What we got was 2 movers arriving nearly 3 hours late. Apparently even when we asked for the first appointment of the day, they still managed to book someone else before us. Charged $800.00 over the estimate. Payment was by a credit card that was rarely used. Found out that the card was used by fraud to book rooms in Abbotsford and Coquitlam. I came across Jiffy Move while searching the neighborhood for another business, and because of the…read morehelpfulness of the owners, decided to use them for my upcoming move. It was a two-parter: half my belongings into storage before showing the place, and the rest after selling. The first move went well; the movers were efficient and organized and took good care of my things. They arrived at each of the three drops before I did and handled everything professionally and in a friendly way. One was an owner. The second move was frustrating and upsetting. The movers took a break without communicating to me where they were going but simply disappeared. They left grease marks on my carpet with the cart wheels, showed up at each drop 10 minutes after I did, and broke the legs of my antique desk, a family heirloom, by dragging it across carpet instead of picking it up. Worst, they packed my storage locker with no room to enter or move, and with all the furniture at the front/entrance. If I could move furniture, I would have done the move myself! When I reported my concerns, I received a fairly prompt response. After a conversation with the owner who had been present for the first move, I felt confident things would be resolved. He offered to come to my storage locker with a second mover and reorganize it; to assess the damage to the desk and either repair it himself or recommend someone and cover the cost; and to compensate me for the movers' downtime during the second move. But he has now postponed doing these things two weeks running, and when I asked for a commitment to a date and time, I did not hear back. I spent close to $1800 on a 1BD apt move and whereas I started out prepared to recommend the company, I'm now frustrated and afraid I've been left with problems of someone else's making that I am going to have to pay more to solve. I want the resolution of these issues to be made a priority for Jiffy Move, and to have a committed date and time for that resolution to happen.

I don't know how our boxes went missing since they took them all the same time. They showed up late and we signed a form which would give us a discount because we paid cash. Joe was mad because he told us they should of started sooner but HE was the one who picked the time and accused us of having more boxes then we told him which is bs my hubby was listening in the call and there was nothing mentioned about the number of boxes and he picked the time. They seem to get pissy as the day went on and seem to be mad about the amount of stuff we had even though I told him it was a two bedroom apartment with a storage space. My hubby gave them 50 dollars for lunch and we were stupid enough to leave them unsupervised. They finally showed up at our place and it was very late and they were very unhappy. When they gave my hubby the amount he gave them a tip but little did we know they stole our print and "lost" at least three of our boxes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY STEAL YOUR STUFF AND DAMAGE YOUR ITEMS. They damage a antique dresser which they think by using plastic wrap it will protect it, NO IT DIDN'T. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!! My real estate agent and his company will no longer recommend this company.

Short Version: Broke tons of stuff. Quoted $800, showed up and said that it shouldn't take too…read morelong. Billed $1400. Not even remotely competent Longer Version: Talked to Curtis. He seemed great and he gave what I thought was a fair quote. We were moving a basement suite and had 40-50 boxes and few other large items (dresser, wardrobe etc.) They showed up early, seemed courteous and professional. Assessed the situation and said that everything looked good. We had everything in boxes, labelled and organized. They said 2 hours to get it out at the most. Then things went downhill...fast. The two workers started arguing that about whether they should bring another guy to help. The one said they shouldn't but eventually they asked me if they should. I let them know it was fine because I like to trust people to do a good job. They said it wouldn't be more expensive because although I have to pay for each person, they would be more efficient. Reasonable. Noon rolls around and they're still not packed. Remember they said 2 hours tops then brought in another guy to help. So, it should be way under 2 hours, but we are at 4+. I started to notice that the new guy they brought has been on his phone most of the time. Seems like he's putting out fires things for Low Budget Moving. Fair enough, but not really something I want to pay for. The other guys don't really seem to be moving boxes and working hard when I see them in my suite, but when I go up, then their just chatting and doing nothing. I think this was the chief the reason that 2 hours for 2 people became 5 hours for 3 people. That is on the cost side of things, but that's not all. When they showed up they said they would insure only solid wood furniture to be moved without damage. They didn't want to insure cheap IKEA furniture or already packed boxes. That seems fair to me. They broke 2 solid wood pieces of furniture. Replaced none and offered no compensation. One table they admitted to breaking. They just fell on it and broke it. Admitted it and did nothing. The China cabinet they refused to admit they broke but kind of in the same way that a child with chocolate on their face rufuses to admin they are responsible for the missing chocolate. They took some parts of the cabinet and said they'd look into replacing it, but then ghosted me. Lastly, they just sucked at moving. I have a hundred stories from the day but the one that illustrates it best is this. We asked them to move a wardrobe into a corner that they had placed in the middle of the room. It need to be moved about 2 meters. They were struggling to move it, crawling around on their knees, pushing it then putting it down, then and trying to figure out how to move it. Eventually after my wife and watching for a while, we just moved it. It took about 15 seconds for us (minus the few minutes of watching them struggle to do their job). We aren't strong, just healthy 30-year-olds who aren't getting paid by the hour. All in all they were just not competent at the basic task, did not actually work, and broke or damaged a lot of items. Try someone else. Literally any one.

I had somewhat of a complicated move a full storage unit and a second location for pick up. I said I had a budget within the range he gave me and wanted to stay close to it as possible.
