I highly recommend this class and is not as boring as trying to do the online portion then having to go in anyway for the technical part! There was AED training as well. I went from not knowing anything to feeling confident I can help save someone I passed with a great score thanks to the great teaching.and it had been over 6 years since I took it and I had forgotten it all but this time I know more than I ever did to help save a life! After a few moments our instructor led us to the classroom . On the way there he kindly showed us where the restroom, water fountain, coffee machine were at . The building itself seems a bit outdated, but nothing that effected the quality of our course. The instructor was easy to follow and gave clear instructions . I felt like I was heard and gained what I needed to in this course. Overall, I would highly recommend this American Red Cross location .

The online portion was just right balance to refresh knowledge without being reading/exam heavy, it was a good prep for the in person class. The in person portion was a good class and it flew by. However it's a little on the small side with just one office it shares the same space as the United Way. I've done a few Flagler College Fair's for this particular Red Cross location and it also provides an awesome ability to be a great place to volunteer for Flager College students as well. So if you ever find yourself bored with nothing to do get out and VOLUNTEER for your local Red Cross! It's alot of fun.

The quality of classroom instruction is very well worth the time and money--so much so that even though my former employer offered ACLS and BLS renewals through work for free and while on the clock, I would still self-pay and renew through ACT and attended on my own time because it's hassle-free and it saved me the time and frustration of sitting in front of a computer for hours at a time and suffering through the monotony. The in-person classes are dynamic and are designed in a way that respects our time as HCWs. There are plenty of morning and evening class time offerings and I've always been able to find a time that works with my schedule. Classroom training is clear, concise, and time efficient. I usually take the morning courses and will get my card the same day. I did take a night class recently and got my card the very next morning, shortly after opening. I recently learned that one of the instructors had bought/taken over the business and I think maybe that's why they're at this new location? I hope that ACT continues to thrive and offer their services for decades to come. I will continue to come here for my AHA recertifications and I recommend them to all my friends and local colleagues. TL;DR: 10/10 highly recommend renewing ACLS, BLS, and PALS through ACT. Very well worth the time and money!
