I told him that I saw it on YouTube and was planning on DIY'ing it. He gave me a tutorial on how to properly paint my doors, when to use the brush/roller, and the technique for painting baseboards. I mean he literally got on his hands and knees to show me! I didn't even have to ask. It's rare for people to be genuinely kind these days so I appreciate it so much! I highly recommend this Duval Paint & Decorating.

The studio set everything up for our chosen projects (soooo many choices!) prior to our arrival and we set up everything for the birthday girl's celebration! There was plenty of space for each of us to spread out and still be comfortable while creating our masterpieces. The staff was so patient & extremely helpful to those of us who aren't very 'crafty!' They ensured all of our creations turned out perfect (or perfectly imperfect/one of a kind!) I would highly recommend Board & Brush for any group activity, team building activity, or even couples date night! It would definitely make for a fun time and an original creation!

So when I came across this place I thought it would be perfect for him! It was my husband, my 76 year old father, and me. We each picked VERY different projects. We were place at a table with another group of two. The person that was assigned to our table to help us was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us while we were all overwhelmed with the endless options. I love how customizable everything is, wow. And it's nice because if you start picking weird things/colors then your table assistant will let you know. We all had a blast and even my dad learned some new techniques to bring home to his wood working. We all love our projects and I'm definitely ready to go back! 10/10 would recommend!

However, my experience would have never been what it was and is still without working with my designer at OCA, Donna Gardiner. From day one, she has allowed me to share my vision, understand my budget, took so much time to show me many options and share her added thoughts and suggestions that really made me see things in new ways that really surprised me. She has been super patient when I have changed my mind and never made me feel rushed and has always cared more about my happiness with each space. She has shown me pieces that I have said "I don't think I like that", and asked if I was open to trying them, which I was, took them home and couldn't believe how much I loved them in my space. Her eye and talent have really blown me away. Whether you are looking to redecorate or starting from scratch, I HIGHLY recommend Donna, she will be your game changer, and I am a tough cookie! Thank you, Donna!

When my daughter turned 3 we decided to get her into a ballet studio as an intro to dance. For the…read moremost part, we had a good experience at BAC but there are some areas where the studio could improve. Positives: Staff was generally nice and knowledgable. I didn't have any issues, but I would say I would have appreciated some updates on my child in class. A simple "your child is doing well with x, but struggling with y" or "they seem to like this or not like this". The BAC community is fairly supportive at the young kids age. Parents are supportive of each other and there isn't any diva behavior. The location of the studio is pretty good and the recital is held at The Florida Theatre which is awesome. The studio has ample parking and bathrooms were clean. Negatives: The younger kids studio seems to be in a pretty old building. Some studios have more modern setups. This is in general and not specific to Jax. I wouldn't say the studio is more or less expensive than others, but I would say that there are some months with holidays that subtract a class. I feel that if you have less classes in a month you shouldn't have to pay for a full month of classes. I do also like how many other studios provide parents with two tickets to the recital albeit maybe they are not half at the best location. It is hard to support your kids with extra practice or support because where they are in terms of learning technique or learning how to dance to choreography is not communicated proactively to you. I would have loved to know where my daughter needed support to help her. Overall, I would suggest you give BAC a try. My daughter enjoyed her first dance class experience. We were likely to stick with BAC for another year and recital, but we moved away out of state. Yesterday, while at the pool we had music playing and I caught my daughter dancing to the music. She wasn't dancing ballet, but she has a love of music and I like to think that was supported and enhanced at BAC.

Our biggest complaint was that they didn't respect our preferences. Whenever we expressed concerns about things happening in class that we weren't comfortable with or inappropriate songs being played, those concerns were ignored.
