This company is awesome and fun. Great for birthday parties, church groups, or just a large group of friends. And the food is wonderful!

Very small but quaint art display room that show cases the local artists. All the artwork was beautiful but there were a few that caught my eye. Loved the animal window one with the cat and horse and rooster peeping through the window. The use of color was neat as well as the idea. The other one I really was drawn into was the butterfly three piece frames with gold background. Even though this was simple its simplicity caught my eye. Also, I love butterflies. Overall if you happen to go through fscj or happen to catch a show near the theatre I suggest walking through the art room. Definitely cool to see

I actually submitted some of my pottery for an upcoming show, featuring students. A first for me with pottery. I plan to take part in the spring show too. Opening reception for the next show (including my works) is Thursday, November 16th at 5pm- if anyone wants to stop in! Currently there is an exhibit of screen prints by various students & it is fabulous! I believe it is free admission, so if you are in the area, you should check them out!

I'll admit, I've only visited specifically on Wednesdays Art Walk nights when admission is free, but it's genuinely hard to pass up when the experience is this enjoyable. The atmosphere during Art Walk is always lively and welcoming. I love that they bring in small local vendors in the lobby alongside the bar setup, which makes the entire museum feel more like a full community event than just a gallery visit. And speaking of the bar, I feel terrible that I can never remember the bartender's name, but that's because every single visit we end up laughing, chatting, and having such a good time that by the end of the night, what sticks with me most is her kindness, energy, and incredible service. She's become part of the experience itself. The exhibits are consistently engaging, thought-provoking, and entertaining without ever feeling pretentious. I especially appreciate the descriptions accompanying the pieces; they add context in a way that makes contemporary art feel approachable and immersive instead of intimidating. There's always something new to notice or discuss. At this point, going to MOCA on Art Walk Wednesdays is easily one of the top activities I look forward to most in downtown Jacksonville. It's creative, social, inspiring, and just an all-around great way to spend an evening.

We went on a Saturday and admissions were covered which was such a deal. They loved the atrium and the interactive art. It's a great way to spend 45 minutes. Also, on Saturdays, you can group this activity with the Riverside Arts Market, (RAM) The artworks do get switched out from time to time. I recommend everyone coming twice a year.

Where do I begin to write this review for Burnt Glassworks? Would it be the variety of items you…read morecan make? Or would it be the phenomenal customer support from Zach and Andy? Or would it be the multiple collections of colors you can select from? Or finally would it be for the items you can buy in their mini showroom? This is the first time I had ever done something like this at the suggestion of my cousin who had also never done it before after reading reviews. She said this is what we're doing. I have to say this was probably one of the funnest events I have done in years! Being able to create something of beauty and not having talent doesn't matter because of the instructions received from Andy. Speaking of Andy, I have to say he is a phenomenal teacher! He explains things in great detail yet in such a way that he is not talking over you or above you but rather with you. He explains by example and by words. He was very patient through the process understanding had never done something like this, and allowed me to express creativity along the way. When it came to the end, describing what the opening of the boss would look like he gave me various options. I cannot commend Andy enough for his outstanding skill at working with others! Now let's talk about Zach who worked the desk and also assisted Andy. He greeted us with a smile, was very friendly and explained to us what the process was going to be. With a fantastic sense of humor and a willingness to be customer centered Zach truly made a difference today as he was the first one we worked with and the last one. From beginning to end my cousin and I had the most fantastic service! If you're looking for something fun to do, supporting a local artist, and building something with your hands, I cannot suggest coming to burnt glassworks enough !!!

However, the staff here is amazing and they were so pleasant and helpful! Each person goes one at a time, for safety, and they talk you through each step of the peace as and are hand one with you through each step. It was so fun and my snowman looks amazing . You were able to pick any 2 colors from a great variety of colors and patterns - one for the body of the snowman and one for the hat. They even had already made examples so you could see some that were traditional (white snow body and red hat) and some that used different color pairs. The 4 of us were done within 45 minutes or so - each taking just over 10 minutes to make. They also have a showroom of already made items in display. I will definitely be back.
