I was having issues with a 1st floor kitchen drain backing up and Anthony and Christopher came out within a few hours notice to address the problem. They spent approximately 90 minutes working on the drain and testing the drainage from both my sink and my neighbors sink. They answered all of my questions and offered helpful suggestions for follow-up. I highly recommend this company! read more

We were very disappointed with the services provided on two dates in January and February by a plumber sent from Right Away Plumbing. We are very unhappy both about the quality of much of the work and apparent over charging. Some background: While we were abroad, it was reported to us that we had some flooding in our house, likely due to freezing. And so, we arranged for emergency services from Right Away on a weekend in January, and for a subsequent scheduled follow-up on a weekday in February. The following were our main concerns: 1. For the emergency services, to stop the flooding, we paid a considerable fee, including $799 for "plumbing diagnosis". It turned out that all the leaks were from the kitchen sink plumbing. The plumber diagnosed two or three leaks and reported that he fixed them. However, he said he was uncertain he found them all and advised us that the water be shut off to the house, which we agreed to, to avoid possible further flooding. He left it for us to discover and make arrangements to fix any further leaks upon our arrival from Europe when we turn the water back on. We did indeed find two additional leaks in the kitchen plumbing, ones that were blatantly obvious. How a professional plumber would miss them as part of a diagnosis we don't know. We had to hire a new plumber who subsequently fixed them. If Right Away had carefully checked and tested for additional leaks, as we paid $799 for, and reported them to us, we would have been able to make arrangements to have them fixed prior to our return from abroad. 2. He also told us that the garbage disposal needed to be replaced for $800. Upon having the additional leaks fixed and the water turned back on, the new plumber discovered that the disposal was working fine. Fortunately, we had decided to defer having Right Away replace the disposal. We are very unclear about the reasons why we would be asked to pay $800 to replace a working disposal. 3. Between the January and February dates, we received news of further leaking, so the Right Away plumber investigated and reported that the main water shut off valve to the house would not shut off completely, and so needed to be replaced. We were charged about $1,750 for this replacement, which seemed like an extraordinary amount for a single valve. We recently asked the new plumber if this was reasonable, and we were told that it would be only as an emergency weekend repair, that ordinarily during regular hours it should only be around $800, at most. Why we were unknowingly charged at an emergency level for work done during the day on a weekday is perplexing. 4. The Right Away plumber initially verbally offered to come in and turn the water back on upon our return on at the end of February. I emailed him twice in advance to make these arrangements, and he did not respond. Upon our return from abroad, I called and he did instruct me on the phone how I could turn the water back on which I did. Immediately, the new leaks became obvious to us, and I sought to arrange with him to come in the next day to fix them and he said he would. I asked him to send me a photo of the new faucet he had available, but this was never forthcoming. I called the next morning, two times, but while he said he would send the information, he still had not, and never followed up, either by phone, email, or in person. So, it was obvious, given the missed leaks, overcharging, and non-response, that we would need a new plumber. And this, I eventually arranged. We, therefore, sent a letter requesting a partial refund, for half of the cost of the shut off valve, as well as the initial "diagnostic" fee for work that failed to detect very obvious leaks that were even apparent to ourselves as non-plumbers. He should have tested his fixes, and advised us of what other leaks needed to be fixed so we could make appropriate arrangements prior to our return. Thus, he never completed his 'diagnosis'. To this date, after a month and a half, we have received absolutely no reply to our letter. That was the last time we will ever use this company's services. read more

Prices are explicit and fair, and he walks you through all the important details. I don't usually post reviews but given the technical Incompetence of this company and the unnecessary headache this cost me I felt compelled to warn others. I wasn't getting enough hot water in my house so I called these guys to take a look. They did an inspection and told me nothing was wrong. In fact they pointed out an error on my part in how I was using the shower faucet. This cost me about $300 - a tad expensive but it was my fault so I didn't complain. Everything was working great again! They then recommended I have someone clean/service my tankless water heater as it needs to be done annually. During that process they inexplicably "disconnected" the small (second) water heater I had downstairs. They said I didn't need it. I trusted they were the experts so agreed. From that moment forward it was a disaster - the showers upstairs would run cold after two minutes. This issue didn't happen until AFTER they serviced the upstairs tank and disconnected the second tank. I called them back out. At the same time my furnace broke so I asked them to take a look at the furnace while they were here. Tony said he figured out the issue the cold and hot water pipes were mixing. I asked if it could be anything to do with the previous gentleman messing with the other water tank and disconnecting something. He quickly shot me down that this wasn't related. He said we would need to "rip up the ceilings and walls" of my house to find the location of the mix and it would cost between $20k and $40k. My home isn't even a year older btw. The furnace he said we needed to order all these parts that were broken. Again the furnace isn't even a year old. In the end I did what I should have done all along. I called another HVAC specialist and another plumber. The 1st company told me immediately that it was a super easy fix for the heat. A spider crawled into the furnace and was disrupting the flame pattern. It took literally 10 mins to fix and cost $89. I asked him about the super expensive parts that Tony told me needed to be replaced. He just shook his head and laughed. He assured me NOTHING needed to be replaced - it's a brand new furnace. Next the other plumbers came out. My instincts were right - during the servicing I had been sold the week before they had indeed opened a valve causing cold water from the kitchen to mix with the rest of the house. Turns out I didn't need $40k worth of work - just five minutes and $129 for someone to fix what this company caused!! This has been an absolutely disastrous encounter. The people at the company were pleasant but completely and utterly incompetent. I am not posting this review to be nasty but simply to warn other unsuspecting customers to give these guys a miss. Edit to respond: ** You charged me over $500 in total for the first two trips. It would be crazy to charge me the 3rd time considering you created the issue. Secondly, as stated another company fixed the problem in 10 minutes and confirmed that it is was because of what you did. That hardly seems like "bad plumbing" to me. We wont ever use them again. 2/18 - confirmed gas leak in basement with workers in home, called plumber (Right Away Plumbing, Heating and Cooling) to diagnose and fix. They were having trouble with finding the leaks using their tools and said they found a leak where I couldn't smell anything. Trusting their expertise, we agreed to a repair. 2/18 - paid for diagnostic and repair work from plumber 2/19 - wasn't in basement to smell anything no work was done that day on our Reno 2/20 - Called people's gas to come out because I could still smell gas. Gentlemen came and found leak by old valve and water heater, was able to make a few adjustments to temporarily stop leak and did diagnostics again and found no issue. I called right away plumber to let them know their equipment was problematic and request a refund on the diagnostic work they weren't able to do. In my opinion, it isn't safe to state you can clearly diagnose and repair a gas leak if you are not able to diagnose it. The person I spoke with (the man who did the repair and who I was speaking with on the phone) screamed at me that the gas company should have cut off my gas so Right Away plumbing could do the job. He said he was going to try to get the guy who fixed the issue for us from people's gas fired. Said he would send some money back though after I made it clear I would be escalating this as I felt this is a very unsafe way to do business. I called 3/11/2020 because we had not received money back for the diagnostic work. I let him know we have a document from the gas company with what work they diagnose and fixed for us. Plumber again was very combative and laughed and said he was waiting on a lawyer (not sure why???) and he didn't care who I complain to about the problem with his service. We have a baby and live above where the gas leaks were. I can't believe this company's reactions or response to their error that could have left us in a dangerous position. We've found our forever plumber! Woke up to our sump pump running continuously and producing a really strong electrical smell from the pit. Unplugged it immediately and first called a different plumbing service that was recommended by a local Facebook group.... That other plumber's answering service said they would have a plumber call me back. I got tired of waiting for them after a while, so I called Right Away who was able to actually dispatch someone *right away* and Jorge arrived within the hour. He replaced the dead sump, did a check of our entire system and found a related issue, fixed that, and also installed some other parts throughout the house to help keep things flowing smoothly. All of the work was done fast (but not in a way where I felt like he rushed) and for a cost less than an earlier quote I had for just a sump replacement without diagnostic or preventive work. Jorge happily described all of the work he was doing and showed a real passion for his work and pride of a job well done. Friendly, patient, passionate, reasonable prices, and no extra charge for working on Saturday! Both times confirmed that it should've been less than half of what was told on site. Guy goes on-site to unclog sink, and charges $400. And then toilet valve rebalance for $340 but discounted at $197. Total costs over $600 because of credit card fees. These guys must be rich unclogging sinks and rebalancing the valve handle for this much. Taking less than an hour. I am remote from my property and wanted to get it over with. I generally do not write reviews for companies unless I am satisfied with them. I did, however, feel slighted by this company today and chose to write this review to provide honest feedback for them in their client interactions and for anyone potentially seeking them for service. Our initial call with Right Away was easy ad prompt. I had a plumber come out and then after reviewing the costs and problems, decided to use them because of their initial quick response. I scheduled the earliest appointment which was to be today. This afternoon, less than two hours before my scheduled time, I received a call from not the plumber or the scheduling manager, but a woman asking me if I wouldn't mind rescheduling. I said no, as I had waited for this appointment, and she said she'd call back trying to make my appointment happen. She then called back to let me know they couldn't, and when I voiced my upset at their lack of scheduling priorities or awareness, she said there was an emergency and that took precedence (although not in those words, Celene was in my opinion very curt and rude and lacking esteem for the clientele). While I do realize sometimes "emergencies" happen on a companies end as well, I do not appreciate when I am made to feel like other people's plumbing issues are more important than mine, especially when I did my due diligence to schedule in a timely manner. Not only that, but to have it be so last minute to get the notice didn't allow me the day to look for other alternatives. Sometimes businesses don't go out of their way to keep to their schedules or to their word, or try to find a creative solution to scheduling conflicts. For example, while I can understand that a plumber is delayed at a previous job - if it was my company, I would then ask that plumber to do a later day that day and work the next job nonetheless to try to take care of all the customers on that date that were promised time. I do not appreciate Right Away Plumbing, who I chose partly because of their namesake, delaying my services because they lack awareness of a customer's needs. I am waiting for Tony the manager to call me back - if I hear anything positive from this company I will update my review. For now, I do not recommend this plumbing company. read more

If I could give no stars, I totally would. I scheduled an appointment for leak detection and was told about the travel fee ONLY. I confirmed that there weren't any "surprise charges" on the horizon, and was assured there weren't. Fast forward a week later, an hour before the technician is due to arrive, I get a confirmation call to confirm the technician was on his way, and the price. Only then was I told it would be an additional $250 for the leak detection service. As I'm sure you can imagine my shock, I told him that wasn't disclosed by the dispatcher and I specifically asked about the total due. The response "they don't know the prices for the services provided but the travel charge". Imagine that, the customer facing dispatcher can't provide even an estimate for the requested service, furthermore are lying to customers. We finally get a price worked out and the technician arrives, does his investigation (breaks a bathroom light in the process). ASK UP FRONT WHAT IT WILL COST TO DIAGNOSE YOUR ISSUE. I made the mistake of NOT asking the cost of a diagnostic service call relating to a potential plumbing issue associated with a dishwasher. I just figured it would be within the range of $50-$75, as had been my experience with service professionals and calls of this type. When the workman arrived, he told me it would be $229 for JUST the diagnostic. Under other circumstances, I would have declined the service, but my repair needed immediate attention and I was having trouble finding anyone who could come within a couple days of my reaching out to plumbers. The diagnosis was made in about 5 minutes. The workman was here for about 25 minutes, having identified the issue as needing a dishwasher repair person. (I had been told by a dishwasher guy it was a plumbing issue.) Anyway, I did agree to pay the $229 under the circumstances, so acknowledge that choice I made. My point is to just encourage any potential customer, when scheduling, to ask what it will cost for any diagnostic service that is done, and then make your decision accordingly. read more

I called Right Away plumbing to help solve my water hammer issue. Day 1- Plumber Jorge shows up, drains water system, fills back slowly to remove any possible air in lines to see if that fixes the issue. It did not. He assures me that his colleague Tony, a "master plumber" will come the next day to help solve the issue. "If he can't do it no one can." I pay the pre-agreed price of $250 for the hour of work draining my system. It stings because I can/have done this myself, but you pay for experience and expertise for professionals, fine. Day 2- Tony and Jorge come. They drain the system again because Tony is convinced my issue is from air in the lines. Drainage #2 does not help. After much thought, Tony tells me he thinks that removing the air chambers installed in my bathroom may help. Reading through many plumber forums, I never saw anything about air chambers causing water hammer. In fact, the reason they are installed is to prevent water hammer.... Interesting. But what do I know right? This is the "master plumber" we are talking about here. Day 3- Jorge comes, quotes me $388 to remove 4 air chambers. (Any plumber would agree this is an outrageous price) I agree to this because I'm still hoping they know what they are doing. He removes them in 45 mins (and only removes half of 1 of them because it is hard to reach... Charge top dollar and only do half the job... what a joke). While the water is shut off and he is removing the air chambers, I tell him I want a shut off valve installed in between the shower and the sink. I want to separate the shower and sink to see if that helps isolate the issue. This was MY suggestion, and was not their plan to do so. They scoff at me for this idea but I insist. This took another 45 mins. In fact, when they were installing the shut off, they almost put it in the wrong spot! I had to stop them as they were putting it in and tell them it was wrong! They turn the water back on. Removing the air chambers did nothing. However, once they turn the shut off valve that I suggested, no more water hammer! Jorge writes up the work order and charges me $650 for 1.5 hours of work. I am frustrated because removing the air chambers for $388 was already insane (but I was willing to pay for an EXPERT'S opinion). They add $250 for the new shut off valve install. I was NOT told that adding the valve would be an additional $250 charge. They should have told me before putting it in. Tony agrees to give me a $45 discount. I tell him that is not enough. He turns to Jorge and says, "ok, pull out the new valve, we are leaving." Things were tense. I was frustrated with the price, and Tony was frustrated with me. Tony pulls out his licensed plumber card and puts it in my face to intimidate me. Very unprofessional. He says "2 plumbers for all this time, we are losing money! Well, removing air chambers and putting in a shut off doesn't require 2 plumbers. And neither of you figured out the cause of my issue, I did. I remain calm and collected the entire time, even though I am deeply frustrated. I pay over $850 for them to drain my system, remove 4 air chambers, and add a shut off valve. And on top of being overcharged, I was bullied by Tony. If it took their expertise to diagnose the problem, then I wouldn't have had an issue with the price because I wanted the water hammer gone. They are more knowledgeable than me with plumbing, I humbly respect that. But, it is painful to pay so much money knowing that in the end it was my suggestion that isolated the issue (while getting bullied). Now, I am out $850 and I still have water hammer. At least I know now that my shower is the issue. UPDATE: I search online forums and read that faulty cartridges can cause this issue. I replace the shower cartridge myself, and problem FIXED. You would think a "master plumber" would know this. Based on my reading it doesn't seem to be that uncommon of an issue. Now I'm left wondering if they purposely ripped me off, or just aren't very good at their jobs. What a shame. Be careful who you hire! It's sad that they have such good YELP reviews, they certainly don't deserve them. PROS: They always showed up on time, They showed up 3 hours after I called which I was impressed by CONS: price gouging. I should have been told that adding a shut off valve would cost an additional $250. They told me they charge by work done, not hourly, to justify the high prices. If anyone ever tells you this, it is because they are overcharging. Paying a minimum 'visit' fee is fair. This way if it ended up being a 5 minute fix they still get paid fairly to account for the travel time. However, you should pay a fixed hourly rate after the first hour. Don't make my mistake. Like so many other Chicagoans after our big freeze, I had a burst pipe in my house after our thaw. I called many different plumbers, and Right Away was the one that ultimately came out. The Good: Tony fixed the problem quickly and knew what he was doing. He was upfront about all costs and pricing. He was friendly despite having been up since 3am working on the same burst pipes we're all dealing with in Chiberia. The Bad: They are the most expensive plumber I've worked with. Overall job was $1191 for around 1 hour's worth of work. I was willing to pay that since my water needs to work and everyone else is either not returning calls or is booked out for three weeks, but be forewarned that the speediness and expertise will cost you. They charge a flat $297 to come out, and then I had to pay $297 to remove my pedestal sink (to be fair, pedestal sinks are a PITA, but it didn't take him long to remove it) and to cut a hole in the drywall to get at the pipes before the problem could be diagnosed. The actual repair, which was a simple new elbow joint on the broken pipe, was $597. The repair itself took around 10-15 minutes. You also only get a three day warranty for that much money, which isn't acceptable in my opinion. Summary: Overall I'm grateful that my pipe is fixed and with Tony's competence and speedy arrival, but be forewarned that this is probably the most expensive plumber you'll get service from based on the calls I made. If I were to make a recommendation for Right Away, it would be to change their pricing scheme so it's not quite as exploitative as it currently is. I can afford the cost, but not everyone has $1200 they can drop at a moment's notice and will be fine with that much money for so little actual labor and materials, and that gives me some pause from an ethical point of view. Charging by the hour would have been much more fair. read more

Called to get quote for installing 2 tubs and 2 water closets. The job was to install a regular tub not a jacuzzi and the toilets are the same floor mounted toilets we all have in our homes. The guy tells me he needs to see the new and existing tubs and the toilets. Right away he started by telling me the drains may be different. Apparently, he's used to people thinking there must be something extraordinarily different in your regular homedepot. With that I can tell he's a high priced scammer. Customer service over the phone was far more helpful in figuring out an external issue that I was trying to get resolved. The man they sent out was out of it... beyond anxious and on edge. It was a little concerning. To start, he wasn't sure what the issue was or how it started. He came out on a rainy day, so it was the perfect time to check the roof to verify if the issue stemmed from there. He quickly declined, and decided to jolt away. He up and left! They do not do painting, if you need to open up a wall and look internally at the pipes. Not a big deal (as they can provide a referral), but the man that was sent out to us will not be working on my home. Response to Thaer: I took the plumber to the upstairs unit, where he couldn't figure out where the plumbing issue came from. After I explained two possible options (rooftop or bathroom unit from condo above), he remained mute and let me and the friend in condo #3 figure out the possibility. He remained confused and nodded his head in agreement to commentary of it coming from either condo #3 plumbing (behind walls, which he would have to open up to see), or roof. Nothing helpful, as two non-plumbers (condo #2 and condo #3 girls) figured its one or the either. Then, I walk him out, and he complains that he didn't agree with condo #3, and that "she was talking too fast and I couldn't understand." Something with your staff was far off, and as I suspect, could be why he was on edge the entire time (25min). No, the review will not be removed. That was my experience with your company. The next day, I had a local professional come out, and the work is already taking place as I respond to you. Just to clarify, the problem wasn't from the roof. Incompetent and presumptuous to say the least. He was incapable of writing it was the condo assoc. fault as the leakage came in through the roof, because he wasn't sure where it came from. Your logic has zero merit. If it were from the roof before it got fixed in 2014, that would be on the condo association, as any professional would tell you. Right Away Plumbing couldn't figure out where it was coming from, and backed away abruptly and fled. Girl in condo #3 is head of condo association, whom asked him to specify where the leak came from (roof or wherever), for paperwork. I wish I can give them an O star. My toilet is clogged, and the dirty water penetrated through the ceiling and dripping down to the downstairs level. I found this company from yelp and had them come to do the work. The plumber George showed up in 60 minutes (at around 5 pm CST) and charged us $170 emergency fee right away (Yes, perfectly match the company's name). He ran a sewer snake drill to try to clear the clog but failed. The drill bit broke inside the drainpipe. Even the work was not done, he charged us another $200 for his effort. He said he has to bring a camera to check the drainpipe the next day. So we pay $369 for nothing on the first day. George and his manager came four days later (yes, they are surprisingly busy). They ran the camera ($355 without videos recorded) through the drainpipe and found the big congestion is gone. They said it could be due to the flushing from downstairs. However, they also found another small clog which could cause problems in the future. I asked them to run another round of snake drill to clean the little clog spot. They said that wouldn't work. They ended up cut open two drywalls ($150). One is in the back of the toilet (totally unnecessary), and one is the ceiling downstairs. After that, they said they need to charge me another $2700 to open the pipe and remove the clog (the price does not include fixing the drywall). I stopped their service at that point. Two days later, I had another plumber company to check the issue. They ran the camera ($250), identified the spot, drilled the drainpipe ($380), reran the camera to make sure the clog is gone. They recorded all the videos and gave me a copy of them. The whole thing was done within 60 minutes. Clean and clear. If I had the 2nd company do the work in the first place, I should only need to spend $630 and get everything done. Now, I had paid $875 to Right Away and another $600 to fix the drywall. I could spend another insane $2700 to have them open the pipe and remove the clog if I listened to them. A good company should find the most suitable solution for the client, but not the most expensive and unnecessary solution. read more

Thank you right away pluming, we had no hot water in our restaurant and couldn't open until we did. A friend recommended I'd call right away Plumbing. Sure enough I did and told them it was an emergency. They showed up right away, very professional and nice. Tony our plumber replaced our water heater also changed our system from a tank to a tank less heater. Now we'll never run out of hot water. Also he was very reasonably with pricing I thought it was really fair considering a fast he came and got it done. Yes, it's long, but trust me, read it. You'll thank me. Oh boy, here we go. AND READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE CALLING THEM!: So, my hot water went out & I needed a company to stop out & take care of it. Of course all companies were neck deep in repairs so I had to make a few calls until I found someone. Well, got an answer at Right Away Plumbing. Downhill from there folks. When I was talking to the girl on the phone I explained that we were going to go through our building insurance, for it's in the wall. No problem I was assured. So far, so good, right? Well, buckle up. I was told the techs would be there be there Sunday between 2 and 3 & that there was a service charge for a Sunday visit. No problem I assured her. So, they arrive at about 4:30 & were clearly not happy (Can't really blame them, for I was told they worked 72 hours in the last 6 days. Ouch.). So I'm asked about payment & told them about the building insurance. Nope. They get the owner on the phone & he tells me the same thing, me asking then why the girl said it was fine. Again, nope. Fine, F*@! it, I need it done. Then the boss calls back, & thanks to his loud voice, he tells George, the tech, that he's skeptical I'm going to pay. Nice. Oh, and he was forbid from going through the back of the cabinet. Um, how in the holy hell are you to get to the pluming that's in the wall behind the cabinet if you don't go through the cabinet? Sorcery? Anyway, after several minutes of me telling them it's ok, we begin. I guess their budget isn't big enough for a sawzall, so a hammer was used to rip out the back. No biggie, but still, it could have been much cleaner. And by doing that, the switch for my dishwasher is just sitting on the floor of the cabinet. Awesome. Well, it wasn't behind the sink, it was behind the dishwasher, ugh. So the dishwasher was taken out & the repair done. I guess it's much easier to take a dishwasher out than to put it back in, because it's crooked & the screws fell out after he left. Now I need to get Abt out to reinstall it. Alright, payment time. Sitting down? Good. So I told him I'm paying with a credit card & I'm told 'So you don't have a check?'. Nope, I don't, & even if I did, there's no recourse on a check. So then I'm told there's a freaking 3.75% fee for using a credit card. What?!? Visa & Mastercard charge 1.5%. So there's an extra $40 in their pocket. Over $1,100 to fix one pipe, a crooked & semi-installed dishwasher, & I had to clean up the mess under the sink, floor, & throw away the debris. I think at the end of the day, burning your house down & starting from scratch would be less painful than hiring this company. Ugh. read more

DON'T! BEWARE! My senior parents were taken advantage of by the technician Jorge L last week. He took advantage of the situation and charged them close to $1600 for a 2 hour job of changing out 5 valves in the kitchen and bathroom and installing a new kitchen faucet. My parents paid because their tenant was moving in on the following day and the water in the multi-unit building had already been turned off affecting other tenants for 4 hours. Upon reading all the negative reviews, it's apparent they prey on people and do not charge fair prices. Beware. I was in need of a plumber to help fix a broken pipe in our home; the result of the recent polar vortex. I called on Friday night and was told a plumber would not be available until Saturday. I was told the plumber would arrive at 12 noon. I made an appointment as this was the third company I called, and the most responsive. On Saturday, I received a call at about 930 am from the office advising that the plumber would be there in 30 minutes or less. Luckily I was in the area and could accommodate. I give this company the benefit of the doubt here - they were extremely busy with the inclement weather. I was advised of the $297 "emergency" fee which I agreed to. Tim our plumber was very nice but he seems a little lost at times. I am not a plumber but I do have some limited construction knowledge and I was surprised by some of Tim's comments. Had I not been there and had I not had a pretty good idea where the broken pipe was located, I think we would have had multiple holes in the wall. The leaky pipe, like most residential leaky pipes, was behind a wall. Tim advised that I would have to pay a fee ($297) to have him open the wall. How can you fix a plumbing issue if you don't access the pipes behind the wall? I agreed to the charge reluctantly since I really didn't have many other options except to shop around which wasn't an option considering the situation. Tim "opened" the wall by smashing it with a hammer. Really? There aren't better tools for this? Also, Tim did not bring a ladder. I let him borrow mine. Once the leak was located, exactly where I told him I thought it was, he advised that it would be another $600 to fix it. The issue was a small "cut" in the pipe as a result of the freeze. What could I do but agree to this at this point? This repair, cutting out a very small section of leaky pipe and putting on a valve took 10 minutes. The total repair was close to $1200. I've talked to several neighbors who had similar issues and the amounts they paid were less, or in some cases, just slightly more for a far more significant plumbing issue. This company inflates everything when demand is high due to hazardous weather. I emailed the company to discuss the issue but to date, have not received a response. I chose your company based on a recommendation from a neighbor who also used your services. You also had mostly positive reviews on yelp. You seemed honest. But in reality, I feel like we were taken advantage of because of the weather situation. Future customers beware. Make sure to shop around or at least get a quote on the phone if possible prior to wasting your time with a service visit. It is too bad companies like this take advantage of hazardous weather situations and customers who are desperate for a solution. read more
